The performance round had concluded for the night, and while it was technically the wee hours of the morning now, neither Haiiro, Felis, or Elayne were quite ready for sleep. The excitement and controlled chaos that was getting it all ready and executing (and watching in case for the prior two) was still moving through their veins, and because of it, all three decided to take a walk about the festival grounds before retiring.
“Oh Elayne I’m so proud of you, you did so well. It was so perfect, absolutely perfect,” Felis jabbered on as he had for the last several minutes. While he’d helped her to choreograph the performance, it was effectively Elayne who pulled it all off at the end, and seeing it all in action had been nothing short of wonderful! She was so beautiful and wonderful and good, wasn’t she? Of course she was!
Haiiro, meanwhile, walked along with them both holding one of Elayne’s quietly. He had been trying and failing to cool his cheeks all evening, and his voice had effectively given up and run away from him. On stage, Elayne was so much more than beautiful and amazing, and he had no words or thoughts to describe it effectively. He already knew how lucky he was to be dating her, but she’d effectively blown his mind again. It was all… very hard to process, yet not unpleasant. Thumbing over Elayne’s palm gently, he hoped the action could at least convey some of what he was feeling.

Finally. The performance was over and Elayne felt like she could breathe again. It had been fun, a blast really, but all the build up to it had been both draining and exhilarating. Truth be told, Elayne wasn't quite sure if she would prefer to sleep or run a marathon but it was somewhere in between at the very least. Regardless, there was no way she could sleep after putting on that performance like that but it seemed that neither Haiiro or Felis felt like sleeping either. Walking around the festival grounds seemed like a good idea and it would be a good way to unwind from all the performance chaos and excitement.
Felis' compliments and ramblings had made certain that Elayne's blush couldn't disappear fully. She was proud of what she'd accomplished, but it was all because of Felis' help that she had succeeded in the first place. Having him praise her as they walked hand in hand was...well, not quite embarrassing but it still flustered her quite a bit. "I couldn't have done it without you though, Felis,"Elayne admitted quietly, hoping to stop the constant stream of compliments for at least a moment.
Looking over at Haiiro, she smiled adoringly at him and leaned over to kiss his cheek briefly. She loved him and he had supported her throughout all of this, even when it meant that she didn't come home until much later than usual. "You too, Haii. I couldn't have done this without you either,"Elayne said softly, squeezing his hand lightly before leaning against Felis a bit. He wasn't getting left out in the slightest, but well, they had been spending a lot of time together working on moves for the performance. Still, it wasn't often that all three of them were together like this. It was nice.

Feliciano’s lips sealed in a warm smile as Elayne spoke. His blue eyes, even in the light of early morning, shined with bright adoration. “I’m glad I could help,” he mused back softer than before. “It was so much fun,” he continued wistfully. Had Elayne not entered the contest, Felis might have. Instead, he’d poured his time and energy into help her and felt wonderful for it. He hoped she placed.
As Elayne’s head turned back to him, Haiiro met her gaze and managed a smile. As she kissed his cheek, however, the blush deepened. “….” Lips parted, but no words came forward. Not even a sound hit the air. He tried again but nothing still. Haiiro’s lips closed again. As Elayne leaned against Felis, Haiiro stopped walking (inadvertently causing Felis to stop walking as well) and brought her knuckles to his lips very briefly.
A soft chuckle escaped from Felis as Elayne leaned against him. Resting sideways on her briefly as well, he glanced sideways at Haiiro and stopped when he did. Cute… Glancing forward, he hummed softly. “Oh look over there,” he started pointing in the distance.

Well, on the bright side her plan to stop Felis from the constant stream of compliments....on the other hand, Elayne still couldn't stop blushing. That adoring look he gave her wasn't helping matters any. Felis was right though, it had been fun, more fun than she could ever remember having in a while. Breeding was her passion, certainly but...there was a certain style to coordinating that was amazing as well. Being up on that stage had been nerve wracking and thrilling at the same time, and Elayne had loved every minute of it.
When she had turned to kiss Haii's cheek and told him how much she appreciated his support, Elayne had to smile when she saw his blush deepen. It was cute, and Elayne never got tired of seeing it, even if it was so easy to do. A soft giggle escaped her lips when it seemed she had rendered Haii speechless. She was honestly tempted to kiss him again but thought better of it as she leaned against Felis. Felis' soft chuckle made her grin all the more and she would've said something else when Haii stopped suddenly.
Blinking, Elayne looked at Haii again in question when he raised her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. Orange eyes grew a little as a warm, rosy blush appeared on Elayne's features. Even if Haii hadn't said anything, it was the action that spoke far louder than any words might have. It took a moment for Felis' words to register as she stared at Haii, smiling adoringly at him. A soft peck on the lips would be given instead before Elayne looked over to where Felis had pointed.
From the direction Felis had indicated, Elayne saw what appeared to be a flopping...fish? Either way, it looked like it was trying to get away from something in a panic. That didn't look good at all and well...Elly wasn't with her at the moment because she had wandered off with Rai so... After quick mental list of the pokemon she had on hand, Elayne sent out Mary. The Mareep seemed happy to be let out but, she could tell right away that there was something wrong. "Electric Terrain," Elayne said softly. It was just a precaution but, she didn't know what the fish was trying to get away from and it was better safe than sorry.
Before she could open her mouth to explain the bad feeling she was getting, Elayne saw what looked like a...floating rock? It was something she'd never seen before but when it started to glow with an all too familiar light, she knew she needed to act fast. "Mary, quick! Thunder!"Elayne called out, hoping that the the move would miss before the thing decided to use Self-Destruct. Thankfully, the Thunder hit the rogue Pokemon before it could explode and it fainted. Well, that was a relief.... Sighing quietly, Elayne tossed a pokeball at the fainted thing. If nothing else, she couldn't just leave it there like that.
Blue eyes turned and refocused through the darkness to find whatever it was Felis had pointed out. When he finally caught the motion of the Stunfisk, Haiiro raised an eyebrow as it hopped away from something. Looking back and finding a Minior, a species he’d only seen recently in the Liggs newspaper, he had to wonder what was…. up? Was it hunting maybe?
As Elayne shifted and released a Mareep, Haiiro found himself reaching for his pocket out of habit. Fishing through some Pokeballs, he frowned. Stunfisk was… Electric and Ground if he remembered right. Electric Terrain actually strengthened the Stunfisk’s power, and it wouldn’t be affected by Electricity at all being part Ground type. The terrain also prevented sleep which posed some problems of its own. Ugh, he didn’t have the Pokemon for this. He’d have to be careful.
Felis, meanwhile, was pretty content to just stand and watch as things played out. He had plenty of Pokemon and little desire to be a trainer anymore. Sure he worked Elayne’s ranch, but she could add to the growing numbers of Pokemon of her own accord. Instead, he’d smile brightly. “Nice work!” was called towards the Mareep encouragingly.
At last Haiiro tossed out a Pokeball, a Shuppet who looked vaguely pissed to even be there right then. “Specter, take out the Stunfisk,” Haiiro ordered. “Will-o-Wisp then Hex,” he ordered. The slippery Ghost swayed and summoned up the small fire that would not exactly do damage but scar the Stunfisk. Launching it at his new foe, the Shuppet swayed ominously after.
On being hit, the Stunfisk cried out startled and winced from the pain of the burn. W-where had that come from? Looking around in the now surging terrain, he would see the Shuppet and yelp surprised. Forming a Flail, he launched himself at the Ghost only to fall straight through.
A sharp laugh broke from the Shuppet. Yeah, that wasn’t going to work for him. Forming a Hex, he smashed it against the Stunfisk causing him to fall over. Suffering the effects of the burn right after, the Stunfisk whined a bit.
“Not a bad tactic, Haiiro,” Felis commented softly.
Haiiro didn’t look sideways to see what expression the other man was wearing. From his tone, it was encouraging enough, but still. “Specter, Hex again,” he went on simply. Once more the Ghost formed the Hex and launched it at the Stunfisk, and once more with the Burn already there, he took more damage form it. In an effort to both cool himself off and do some damage back, the Stunfisk released a Muddy Water, starting to flood the area and crash against Specter. The Ghost hissed, flying sideways to avoid most of it but still taking some damage.
Haiiro frowned but wouldn’t be recalling the Ghost just yet. “Hex, again,” was all he said before the Ghost finished off the opponent. Falling sideways, the Stunfisk scrambled to get up, yet when the burn damage came again, he fainted. Haiiro exhaled. His battle had been a bit longer than Elayne’s (for obvious reasons), but it had come out alright. Vaguely he wondered whether to catch the Stunfisk or not, but— well, he had heard someone was looking for this particular brand of weird faced Pokemon back on the train. Exhaling, he fished out a Pokeball and threw it at the Fishy fish.
“Nice work both of you!” Felis smiled brightly. "You're both so good at battling~"
Haiiro finally glanced sideways and found his voice failing him again. Ugh.

As soon as the pokeball dinged in capture, Elayne breathed a sigh of relief. That was one Pokemon she hadn't really enjoyed fighting. It was pure luck that she had managed to make it faint before the Self-Destruct could take effect. The other Pokemon however was putting up more of a fight against the Shuppet. Petting the Mareep, Elayne stayed silent as Haiiro battled until the Stunfisk finally fainted and was captured. She had just been about to say something when Mary began to glow, evolving into a Flaaffy with a happy cry. "Wow, you did it Mary~"Elayne exclaimed, hugging the little lamb close before turning back to Haii and Felis, a huge grin on her face.
"Well, that was fun,"Elayne stated, walking up to Haii and taking the Minior's pokeball and handing it to him,"I think you'd be a better trainer for it then me," she explained briefly. That and she was perhaps just the slightest bit afraid of it...what she had seen wasn't exactly friendly and though she'd had her fair share of challenging Pokemon in the past, the Minior seemed like it'd be a bit much. Taking a moment to recall Mary, Elayne took one of Felis' hands and one of Haii's, it wasn't often she got the opportunity to spend time with her two favorite people in the world and well, she wanted to enjoy it without interruptions for just a few moments.
Looking up at the stars, Elayne smiled and leaned against Haii a little as they walked. The stars were beautiful tonight, and in the darkness, she could see a shooting star dart across the sky. "Did you see that?" Elayne asked excitedly, looking at Haii and Felis before closing her eyes and making a wish. A soft giggle escaped her when she opened her eyes again and stared up at the night sky once more, "What did you wish for Haii, Felis?" Elayne asked softly.
Meanwhile, a Nosepass wandered on the trio who happened to be staring at the sky. Was there something up there? He couldn't see anything....that was just strange. A soft POP was heard as Maire the Riolu wanted to join the party as well. Or rather, she was about to when she saw the Nosepass and ran over to him, looking up at the sky with him. Well, this was kind of nice wasn't it. Elayne heard the pokeball open and looked up to see her Riolu find a friend. Well, wasn't that cute.

As the Pokeball was handed to him, Haiiro took it and stared down at it. Looking back up at Elayne he blinked slowly. He… wasn’t entirely sure what made her sure that he could deal with the thing, but… then again, he did have a lot of experience dealing with Rock, Ground, and Steel types. The Orrean desert had taught him a lot. Nodding once, he pocketed the ball. The other Pokeball would disappear off to his own PC of its own accord.
Felis, meanwhile, offered Elayne a smile as he reclasped her hand again. Starting to walk once she’d taken ahold of Haii’s as well, Felis hummed a bit softly as they went. Haiiro, meanwhile held Elayne’s hand comfortably, his gaze much higher than Felis’s. The mountain air made everything so much clearer (even if he’d found it a bit hard to breathe when they’d first gotten up there).
As a star moved, Felis would indeed catch it. “Beautiful!” he chimed brightly before closing his own eyes and making a wish. Haii caught the tail end of it. Drawing in a breath, he let his gaze drop instead. The question that came after had Felis chuckling. “It won’t come true if I tell~” he replied bemusedly. Haiiro smirked very briefly at that not saying either.
Through the darkness, a Slugma also moved but seemed relatively intent on getting wherever it was going. Haiiro was content to let it be.

When Haiiro accepted the ball from her, Elayne smiled more and kissed his cheek. She trusted him to know how to deal with the sphere Pokemon because well...she certainly didn't know how to. Their training styles were different though and she just wasn't near as confident in being able to bring out the Pokemon's full potential as she believed Haii would be. After taking both Haii and Felis' hands again, it was nice to just start walking again. The stars were beautiful and they even were able to see a shooting star! From the corner of her eye, she could see both Haii and Felis had made a wish at the same time as she had. Even if tradition (or superstition) said that they shouldn't tell anyone in case it didn't come true, Elayne still wanted to see if she could make her boyfriends tell her.
Even after asking both of them, Elayne hadn't really expected them to tell her what they had wished for. Still, she had to at least try and ask them what they had wished for. A soft giggle escaped her as they both refused as she stuck out her bottom lip in a fake pout of sorts. "Awwww...not even for me~,"Elayne all but purred, batting her eyelashes as she teased them. It was hard, really hard to not just break out in laughter but she was able to keep her amusement at bay...for now. Besides, it wasn't often she flirted like this and though Elayne knew that Felis wouldn't be affected much, it would be fun to see Haii's reaction.
Maire meanwhile decided to poke the Nosepass, drawing his attention to her. At first, the Nosepass jumped then looked at the little Riolu in curiosity that quickly shifted to quiet amusement (if a Nosepass could have such an expression) when Maire shifted into a battle ready stance. So, the little one wanted to battle hmm, well, he wouldn't be one to refuse. A quick nod (or bow) was given before he shifted into a defensive stance, waiting for the Riolu to make the first move.
Maire didn't need to be asked twice before running forward with a Force Palm. The Nosepass wasn't able to dodge in time before the move hit him but retaliated with Tackle. The Riolu grunted in pain but didn't hesitate before using another Force Palm to get the Nosepass off her. This time, the Nosepass knew he was in trouble and decided to stop taking it easy on the little Riolu. When the Nosepass used Zap Cannon, Maire was surprised to say the least but took the move head on, pushing forward despite how much it hurt. With a Reversal, the Riolu charged forward and hit the Nosepass with everything she had. Crying out in pain, the Nosepass fainted while Maire almost collapsed. That had taken a lot out of her...she could just rest her for a bit, yes.
Hearing the commotion, Elayne looked up to see Maire was fighting the Nosepass. So far it looked like the Riolu was doing alright but when that Zap Cannon hit...."Maire!" Elayne cried out, putting a hand over her mouth when it seemed like her Riolu would be hurt but...it seemed Maire had had a plan. Still, as soon as she saw how hurt the Riolu was, Elayne had dropped both Haiiro's and Felis' hands and went running over to the Riolu, picking up the small puppy, cradling her in her arms. "You did a good job..."Elayne murmured softly, already trying to search through her pack to see if she had potions or berries or...something. This would certainly be a lot easier if she had both hands...

The commotion would pull not only Elayne’s but Haiiro and Felis’s attention away from the stars. They both watched in relative silence as the Riolu battled the Nosepass, letting Elayne handle things as she would. As the battle seemed to prematurely end and Elayne went about searching for berries, however, Felis stepped forward. “Here,” he spoke softly taking the Riolu from her arms so that she could search easier. Haiiro, meanwhile, was searching through his own pockets before finding a berry bar that he’d bought and never eaten. Opening it and starting forward, he held it out to Felis who then took it and held it for the Riolu.
Just then, a Woobat swooped in and snatched the bar right out from Felis’s hand. A startled sound escaped form him, and Felis shifted sideways a bit too late. Blue eyes watched as the Woobat with the treat in its mouth started to fly away after. A ‘tch’ sound escaped from Haiiro as he watched the Woobat fly just out of reach. “Fuckin’…” Temper slightly flared at the stupid thing, Haiiro fished out a Pokeball from his jacket.
Releasing a Duskull, Haiiro gave an order right after. “Moonlit, Pursuit,” he demanded. Launched in the direction of the Woobat, it didn’t take the Duskull long to recognize what his target was. Throwing out his ghoulish arms, she lashed out at the Woobat, smacking it down some before it could get away. The Woobat cried out clearly started at being Pursued. Twirling around to stare at the Ghost Type, he tried a Heart Stamp, ramming into the Duskull with his nose. Struck by the move, the Duskull flailed momentarily before recapturing herself. It would take much more than that to do her in.
It was then that the Woobat chomped down and swallowed the berry bar, quickly regaining his strength again. Haiiro glowered. “Shadow Ball,” he ordered. The Duskull drew up the shadowy ball before launching it at her foe. Slammed by the move, the Woobat cried out, fluttering slightly from the force. Swooping his wings to form an Air Slash, he did his best to retaliate. “Move,” was all Haiiro had to say for the Duskull to fade sideways avoiding the air currents as they came. “Shadow Ball again,” Haiiro ordered. Summong up the sphere once again, the Duskull launched it at her foe, downing the Woobat this time.
Haiiro started walking over, but his shoulder was caught by Felis. Looking back, Haiiro frowned softly. Felis smiled a little. “I think that’s enough, Haii,” Felis assured quietly. “Elayne probably has some better treats in her bag anyways~ We did pick up quite a lot of Star Festival goodies.” Haiiro sighed regaining his stance and setting his thumbs in his pockets. Fine, whatever. Moonlit, meanwhile, floated around absently thereafter, watching as the Woobat slowly recovered and eventually flew off. Waving a ghostly arm again, she watched him flinch away and fly up faster. Heheheh, that was very amusing~ She was glad to have been released into such a fight.

As Elayne searched for some berries, a potion, anything that would help, she was more than a little relieved that Felis offered to take Maire. A quiet thank you would be given before she resumed her search. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a berry bar being held out to her Riolu and almost stopped her search. The startled cry had Elayne looking at him in alarm but...it seemed he was fine at least. Well, except for the Woobat that had flown away with the berry bar. Hearing the curse come from Haiiro, Elayne raised a hand to say it was alright, then dropped it when it seemed Haii was already sending his Duskull out to fight it.
In the meantime, Elayne watched as the fight with the Woobat went on up until the thief decided it was going to eat the berry bar. In the aftermath of the battle, Elayne was about to stop Haii when it seemed that Felis beat her to it. Ironically, it was Felis that reminded her of the snacks and other treats they had gotten at the Star Festival. Of course, she had been panicking a little and it could have slipped her mind. "Thanks for reminding me, Felis,"Elayne said quietly, giving him a kiss on the cheek before pulling out a few of the Star Festival things she had been saving for later. She wasn't exactly sure how good these would be for healing but...well, it wouldn't hurt to try. "Here, Maire. Eat this, it'll make you feel better,"Elayne said quietly.
The Riolu ate the treats that were given to her and blinked a few times. A happy trill was heard as a few more bites was taken and Elayne breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness. Now that Maire was feeling better, they could relax and maybe see more of the stars. Well, at least that was what she thought before the Riolu suddenly jumped out of Felis' arms and used Force Palm on a Tynamo that...was dangerously close to shocking her. How had that fish gotten so close? Well...they had been pretty distracted earlier, but...what was going on?
Maire scolded the Tynamo for trying to hurt her trainer only to be hurt by a Tackle. Wincing, the Riolu used Force Palm again, fainting the Tynamo thereafter. Hmph, good riddance. Elayne sweat dropped at the display and patted the Riolu on the head, "Thanks, Maire...you need to rest now though, alright?" she said quietly. It seemed the Riolu wasn't quite ready to rest though and folded her arms across her chest. Elayne sighed and shook her head, "Fine, but just stay close," she said sternly. The Riolu at least nodded at that, which made Elayne relax before taking Haii's hand again and pulling him towards her.
"Hey...thanks,"Elayne said softly, kissing his cheek and wrapping her arms around him briefly. Felis' hand would be taken thereafter and pulled closer so that she could give both of them a hug. "Both of you. I don't know what I would do without you~,"Elayne chimed, her voice warm and sincere.
