『...』 Niso didn't really get to voice his concerns on life and death, the one motive in what he did the first 2 years after he moved to Veria, leaning back on his hands he continued to be oddly quiet compared to his usual self, though his gaze did sharpen a bit when the fanboy mentioned wanting to die...he never understood people like that. Death was the end. It was the be all and end all...
『Complain about life any louder and someone might just take it away from you...』 He narrowed his eyes, leaning forward and rubbing his palms together, practically glaring acorss to Orion now, his messy black hair seeming to go from childish to hiding a malicious intent as he ground his palms together hard enough that it hurt a little. 『Whatever aches you in life death is worse. Negative experiences are greater than no experiences....up until a few months back my life wasn't "good." It was neutral at best. The same stuff day in and day out and in and out and over and over and over and...』
He clasped his hands together tightly, almost growling under his breath...but then a moment of elation washed through him as his memory tilted over the edge. Past the "point of no return" 『But...I would still have that, or a prison cell, or torture rather than the absence of life~ If its a choice its one you never take back, and one i thankfully will never have to make!~』
Eyes shifting forward, he kicked off the Metagross and trotted along towards the pokemon in the distance, his Aegislash flying to his side. 『Magmortar's mine~』

An unexpectedly sharp laugh broke form Orion at Niso’s words. Man this kid was something, wasn’t he? Sharp mind, sharp tongue. Fierce and resolute for someone who couldn’t have been more than a teenager (though who knew with that whole immortal shenanigans and all). Still, what interested him was Niso’s supposed ‘neutral’ life. Same stuff day in and day out over and over and over again? Sounded a little too familiar didn’t it?
Orion chuckled a little more before settling. “True enough~ Not like either of us are locked up now anyways,” he mused a bit dryly shifting to stretch slowly. Ugh, he could feel all that bone and muscle a bit too well. Watching Niso bound off towards yet another target, he shifted a little and pulled a cigarette form his pocket to light and smoke. Looking off in the direction Niso had gone, he identified an Electivire not too far off. “Null, you mind getting that?” he asked making a small hand gesture in turn. The Type:Null rolled her eyes from behind the mask and stomped the ground a little displeased.
Hm? Orion smirked a little as he understood the sentiment. “Alright, alright,” he mused slipping down off the Metagross and landing beside it. “You wanna keep it distracted?” The Type:Null rolled her eyes but proceeded to gallop forward towards the Electivire full force now. The large Electric yeti was more than a little aware of the large four legged monstrosity coming at him. Ushering out a large Screech in retribution, he then swung forward.
The Screech was enough to have the Type:Null hissing, but Orion only winced as he went running forward, slipping around and landing a fist right up against its side. The Electivire seemed more than a little surprised and shifted briefly to look at the human— only to meet a cut from the Type:Null as she lunged forward and dished out a Crush Claw. He roared, startled and angry at this human who dared attack him directly and his Pokemon. Swiping around he formed a Thunder Punch, and slammed it towards Orion. The latter, however, had already hopped back more than a few feet out of the way and was shifting around at a different angle. The Type:Null, meanwhile, was smashing yet another Crush Claw into the yeti.
Frustrated still, the Electivire formed a Low Kick and hit the Type:Null rather hard. She winced and whined but quickly got to her feet again. Orion, however, took the opportunity to get behind and kick the Electivire pretty hard. The latter roared angrily drawing up a Light Screen for some defense against this stupid human. The Type:Null, in turn, whipped out a Tri-Attack instead bashing at the defenses as she would. Orion smirked a little and backed up a bit making some less than kind hand gestures to distracted the Electivire while the Type:Null continued to decimate her opponent. The Electivire roared angrily forming another Thunder Punch and slammed it hard into the Type:Null, however. She winced but was not paralyzed, and one more sharp Crush Claw had the Electivire crashing to his knees.
As he stepped towards the Magmortar, the Honedge by his side groaned with the grasping of his handle, looking sickly in his singular eye and his ribbon wrapping weakly around Niso's arm, almost like he was slowly being forcefed a meal he didn't want to accept. 『Oh quit the whining, you won't be hungry for a month if you gimme another fight. Just think, you can have sooo much more when you evolve too~』 The blade seemed a little more comfortable at that concept but for now the sickly sensation was overwhelming, and Niso had more control over his motions than the blade itself probably did, his eyes turning up to the firey pokemon and twiddling his fingers in a playful wave. Of course, as a wastelander, friendly introductions weren't the pokemon's forte...
Rolling to the side Niso narrowly avoided a lavaplume, the magma fired from the cannon arm of the Magmorta, and Niso's smile growing now that he had an excuse to "retaliate", His whole body briefly flashed a deep, abysal black, stunning the Magmortar as it looked at the human slightly confused, Niso using the chance and rushing forward and stroking across the outer layer of the Magmortar. Without a pokemon's true furiosity ala bruce, breaking skin was gonna be near impossible even with a Honedge, but pokemon moves tended to cut a little deeper in a sense, at least in Niso's experience. With a fire punch coming in he narrowly managed to backpedal from the attack, chuckling up at the fire pokemon and slicing it twice again, his arm providing a bit of refinement and speed to the Honedge's floatier style of movement, a dark energy coating the blade as he continued to use Night slash. The next fire punch was barely blocked by the flat of the blade and Honedge clearly felt the burn from it, but with the Magmortar almost finished Niso didn't exactly let up.
With the fire punch still connected to the sword, Niso pushed it down and kicked off the forearm, It was impractical and lacked a lot of tact, but he slammed the hilt of the blade into the back of the Magmortar's head as eh jumped over, enough of a shock to a vital point to send him down for the count, the dark child chuckling a little as he looked over the larger pokemon.

As the giant Electric yeti was brought to its knees, Orion smirked softly. “Not bad N-“ As he turned his gaze towards the massive dog creature, he’d find her shaking her head wildly. Snarling sounds escaped in a chorus of unsung frustrations, and with brute force, she went charging at the battered Electivire and slammed her head against him. He huffed in pain and whined weakly, but she stomped into the ground and continued the heat motions before— !!
Orion’s eyes grew as the mask seemed to start to break. Another hard slam of it set it free, and the roar of a Silvally echoed through the area as she finally breathed freely. Bright, reckless silver eyes flashed around before she roared again with more and more gusto. A shiver went through Orion, yet after a moment, a sharp laugh broke from him. Well fuck would you look at that? Right here! Right in this mess of … everything else. Raising his hands, he clapped a couple of times. “Well damn ….not bad at all.” Not—
“Hey where the fuck are you—“ The Silvally was running now, and Orion was scrambling to keep up as it went straight towards Niso. Fuck fuck. “Hey chill!” he snarled, but the creature wasn’t quite listening.
Niso smirked quietly as he tossed the Honedge up in the air and caught it's handle, a few times actually, the pokemon still sluggish and full, looking like it might throw up if it had a mouth to do so with, though on the final throw it seemed to put the over abundance of drained energy to use, the single blade splitting into two for Niso to catch, clearly a tad caught off guard as he did, but grinning at the two blades all the same as he looked between their eyes.
『Well well, looks like we're gonna have to get you a dusk stone when we get home hm?~』
Throwing the two blades again, this time they seemed to have the energy to catch themselves in the air, sheathing their sharp edges into the new holster's they had evolved with, eyes shifting behind Niso, Narrowing before showing a look of concern.
Niso was confused himself, slowly turning on his heel and showing a sense of alarm as the newly released pokemon charged at him, not having enough time to dip out of the way.

The Silvally leaped trying to use all of her force to knock down the boy and pin him to the ground, her head leaning in, grey eyes squinting. “Arceus fuck, get off,” Orion had come in a couple of seconds later, hands reaching at the crest feathers of the Silvally to try and pry her off Niso. The two-hundred pound Silvally didn’t quite budge, however, and instead stared down and— booped his nose with hers?
Almost immediately after that, the Silvally complied with Orion’s demands and sprang off flashing a puppy-like grin of content. Hah! She wasn’t wearing a mask now! See? See? Stomping her front feet a bit, the Silvally leaned forward and waged her fin tail a bit. Orion exhaled loudly still not quiet understanding what happened still but … but ok whatever then. “Ugh …. Sorry?” he tried not exactly sure what he was sorry for aside from his apparently impulsive giantess creature. A hand was extended to Niso if he wanted help up.

Niso let out a yelp as the pokemon tackled him to the ground, the doublade backing off while also unsheathing himself, both blades pointed at the...unquestionably stronger pokemon, still holding his tips towards the pokemon all the same however, he inched away a little further as he watched the look of shock on his trainer's face turn to something more fearsome, a cold smile crossing his lips as a thick, dark coating spread across his face. So the silvally wanted revenge for his playfulness?~ He'd return the favor~
At least...until he felt the boop.
The dark coating retreated back to the point of origin and the intimidatory effect faded away. He eased up onto his elbows, breathing slowly in an attempt to calm himself down, wondering what on earth the SIlvally had in mind there, but easing himself to his feet and dusting off his back all the same, the dry crumpled dust of the grass clinging to him like a fine powder.
『It's...fine...』 He was confused for but a second or two more before a more genuine smile crossed his lips, not sure if the silvally actually had playful intentions, but deciding to take it that way, kneeling over and pinching his freshly released cheeks with a cheeky ass smirk. 『Playful little rascal aint'cha?~』

The Silvally was… entirely too pleased with herself, really. Freedom from that mask at last! Freedom to go nose to nose with an interesting opponent. Freedom to not! Oh, she felt so much lighter! At Niso’s question, she gave a toothy grin and a nod. A low rumbling noise similar but not exactly like a growl reverberated through her before she eased up into a regular stance.
Orion was… chuckling despite himself. “I guess… she wanted to spook you,” he spoke dryly giving a small shake of head. Or me… He had not quite missed the way Niso had reacted, and that… was truly something wasn’t it? Hm, maybe he’d ask about that later even… “Wait…. Was that aura?” Oh, guess he couldn’t keep his mouth shut. Well, oh well that was fine too.

Smirking at the pokemon as he accepted the cheek pinching, it seemed clear that it was just a playful little bash, and something he could appreciate in his own way. Why seek vengeance when he was just being a chaotic little blighter now that he was free of the mask? If anything he should be encouraging that behavior.
His eyes did tip back up to Orion however at the mention of Aura however...wow he was certainly perceptive. His "master" told him multiple times his own was a bit unique, so the fact Orion could spot it was certainly a delightful surprise.
『Oh I guess the cat's out of the bag pretty early on that one』 He stood up arms outstretched on either side, smirking like a little shit 『Ya caught me!~ Though i'd love it if you don't tell everyone, I'm saving it for a surprise~』
Standing together again, he washed a hand over his face, a black wave washing over his body as his entire form turned into a black abyss, white eyes and a white smile crossing his face as the hand stopped covering it, his voice faintly distorted now as he spoke.

Orion’s lips quirked a bit weirdly as Niso admitted to having some control over aura. Of course you do… It was… almost hilarious, yet he couldn’t bring himself to laugh. Arceus he almost wished he hadn’t noticed. “I won’t tell anyone,” Orion mused briefly. Not like he wanted to go around mentioning any connection to Niso Konto to begin with.
What happened next, however, was enough to drive a shiver through Orion. The black abyss that shrouded the boy’s form had every hair on Orion’s skin on edge for a moment, and some color escaped from Orion’s features. Creepy… Like a Duskull or Banette or any number of Ghostly Pokemon. It was… much creepier than anything he’d seen Mom ever do or even some of her favorite apprentices.
A dishelmed chuckle escaped from Orion. “Quite neat,” he answered belatedly reaching up to trail a few fingers through his hair. “Bet you’re wild at parties.” Not that someone as infamous would probably go to a huge party or anything but…. “Who’re ya trying to scare?” Everyone, probably. Orion could guess it just by looking. Only those who worshiped Ghosts would probably be immediately elated to see such a thing.

The darkness around him faded, from his finger tips travelling up, the source seeming to be around the center of his chest as it all faded away. Niso couldn't hold that form for long yet, but it was good that, even to a fan of him, it seemed to have the effect of at least shaking someone up. He couldn't wait to put his dark face infront of someone who didn't have any interest in his dark, twisted little mind. He stepped closer, walking around the older man, smirking a little as he did.
『Who do I want to scare?~ Well nobody~ What I want is for people to recognize that when they deal with me, they're dealing with something...beyond their own measly mortal forms~』 He let out a light giggle and a chuckle before rounding back to Orion's front, opening his arms again. 『I mean...I'm more than some innocent soul...』
His hands met together in the middle of his chest, and for a brief instance, his entire aura displayed itself. Even doublade hurled backwards from the burst of presence it had. It had no real effect, perhaps it made the air feel heavy, but the area around both humans and their pokemon was an immense torrent of grey, swirling madness, souls roaring to the outer layer before being dragged mercilessly back to the middle....

Yellow eyes flickered sideways, following Niso as he walked. Perhaps there was even a flicker of extra wariness now that hadn’t been there before. Perhaps deeper emotions were just coming into play. Niso’s reasoning as he went, however, was…. questionably less interesting than Orion was hoping for. Such straightforward motives made sense in this context but… ehhh…
Wait. What. Oh fuck.
The sudden burst of darkness drove an almost painful chill through Orion, and he straightened involuntarily. Yellow eyes widened, reflecting the mesh of tormented grey and swirling madness. Holy fuck… A few hundred… a few hundred souls if not more. Lips pressed together hard and then scrunched up. He’s absorbed literal souls…
A weird, wayward smile pulled across Orion’s features, and he found his shoulders shaking some as he chuckled. Damn that’s frightening… His pulse was up in his ears. His body sung of fight or flight, and rationality clung on for dear life. It was all he could do not to react… terribly. “Do you hear them? Feel them? Are they buzzing around in your head or just a part of you to the point you don’t even notice?” The words fell out smoothly for as shaken as he felt. “Seems fitting for a chaos lord regardless….”
The once playful Silvally was now staring wide eyed and cautious. Shifting from one foot to the other, she took slow, uncertain breaths. She'd just pounced that. Yikes???

Oh now this. This was delightful...he was shaking even someone like this to the core he could tell. Oooooh if this is what his new found back of tricks could do to him he couldn't wait to test it on a Benoit or some other despicable little wormy example of humankind. He was practically prancing as he made a second little circle around Orion, clapping in his little moment of delight, Doublade, having never seen this before, still hovering a fair distance away, clearly cautious.
『You know, that's the first time I've ever used that infront of anyone but the mad old man who thought it was okay to teach me!~ It is soooo good to see the intended results in even someone as odd as you my little fan!~』
Feeling a rush of his old self, he twirled on his heel back infront of Orion. Even with the bouncy sensation his madness always held this felt a little...different, to what Orion had been experiencing, like the chains holding him back had been loosened just a tad as he rounded back to his front, tilting his head at his question, but not lingering on it for too long as he waved it off dismissingly.
『I've heard something once or twice since I began to train my control over this little torrent of madness, but the little buggers are surprisingly quiet...』 He leaned in, smirking deviously, doing the "speak behind your hand" motion as he pretended to share a secret. 『Between you and me, I'm pretty sure they're all too focused on getting away from me. Sad for them it dosn't seem to be very likely.~』
Clapping to himself again he turned away and continued walking through the wasteland, a light hum and a kick in his step, his metagross, having been fairly unaware of what was going on as he had a mini-nap, picking himself up and following behind, the doublade returned to it's pokeball as Niso walked.
『Hey if you were going to make the big reveal with this would you go bank job or save it for something bigger?~』

Orion was vaguely aware his fingers were twitching. His hands weren’t… quite shaking but his fingers sure were. Reaching up one hand, he set them on the back of his neck, both giving them a place to hold and smoothing over the standing hairs there. “I feel honored then…” he mused, managing to control the flux of his tone at least. And vaguely shaken… Which was honestly impressive as far as people went. There were only a few that had had him this stirred up in quite some time.
As Niso spoke, however, a look of intrigue did draw upon Orion’s features. Surprisingly quiet for a torrent of souls… possibly trying to get away… “Interesting…” he hummed reaching up and setting some fingers to his chin. He wanted to ask more, but Niso was already on the move again. Dislodging his joints and getting his body to move again was… weirdly difficult, but Orion managed it. The Silvally rather quickly came to his side to walk alongside him again, whether out of concern for him or wariness of Niso who knew.
The question that came to the air drew a breath into Orion. “Bank job?” he echoed raising an eyebrow. “I’d go with something bigger. Banks have a variety of people, but everyone in there is already terrified the minute you bring Pokemon or something else in…” Reaching back and setting his hands behind his head, Orion raised his gaze some. “I’d say… something like wrecking a contest or something where it’s all over the news would probably be more interesting.”
