Well, oh well. He didn't come across one of the Pokemon on his list, but he'd come across a couple captures over the last course outing. Orion was still pretty pleased with that at the end of the day. He'd trained quite a lot, and the group he'd been working with was looking really good. His Wartortle had successfully evolved into a Blastoise, and it seemed everyone else was getting there if not quite there yet. Just a little more or so Orion and his writer told themselves.
Wandering down the beach strip once again, Orion yawned slowly. It was early morning now, and he hadn't really slept the night before. It was very much his fault given he didn't even try this time, but perhaps Orion himself was just more in tune with what his body wanted and what it was doing now a days. Ah well, yeah? Yeah.

Slowly rolling onto the land, a Pykumuku made her way upwards. She was itching to see new things and battle! And look right there! A human who … looked very tired for some reason. Spitting out her innards and making a wave, she tried to get his attention. Orion, meanwhile, stooed slowly as the giant white hand sprung up and waved at him. Mwah, o-oh. "You…. Wanna battle, maybe?" he offered with a small, dry smile. She perked up and shook vigorously! Yes! Challenge her!
Orion snorted softly but nodded. As much as he actually hated batting these nasty things considering what he knew of them, he wasn't one to deny a challenge either. Grasping a Pokeball, he released it immediately. A Croconaw growled low in his throat and stomped a foot ready and raring to go. "Screech," was the first order followed quickly by a "Dragon Dance then Aqua Tail." There was no way Orion was going to let the creature get the upper hand. The battle was swift with the Pykumuku not actually having any attacking moves and the Croconaw being a vicious little but. At least when he whipped around and sent her flying back into the ocean, he took some frustrated damage as well.

"Good work," Orion murmured before returning his Croconaw for now. H edidn't want any of his Pokemon wasting energy just in case they ran into another huge horde during any of this escapade. As something started to move in his peripheral vision, however, Orion stopped walking. Turning just as it stopped moving, Orion squinted for a few moments before fully registering- Ah fucking hell… Was that … yeah it was another one of those. Orion had to briefly wonder if it was a remnant of the horde that had attacked him earlier in the week, but perhaps he was being too cyni-
Shit. Jumping left to avoid some Toxic Spikes, Orion leered. Fine, guess they were going to do it that way. Fishing out a Pokeball, he released a Tentacool into the air. Alright then. "Tentacool, Hex then Poison Jab," came the orders. The wayward Tentacool swayed a bit disinterested in whatever the hell was going on. However, as an Icicle Crash came down on her, she yelped and refocused. Forming a Hex, she thrusted the power out at the Cloyster briefly causing him to fidget in turn. The shelled Pokemon shook a little, vibrating louder and louder before a Supersonic ramed the air. Even Orion winced for a moment, but surely right then the Tentacool was confused. "Shit- Stay focused and Poison Jab," Orion encouraged all the same. The Tentacool shook her head and managed to beat the confusion that round, forming a tentacle full of poison and slamming it down on the head of the Cloyster.
The Cloyster released more Toxic Spikes, not that they would do much good against the Tentacool now. The latter, however, was still swaying in confusion and trying to get her bearings. As another order was given, she'd form a Hex again and send it crashing at the Cloyster. The latter weakened some but was still not out. More orders were given, and finally she snapped out of her confusion enough to do some legitimate damage. The Cloyster struggled, still managing to stay conscious, but it was enough for Orion right then. "Enough, thanks for the fight," he finally spoke. The Cloyster shrugged and seeped back into the ocean.

Returning the Tentacool for now, Orion went onwards down the beach line, his eyes flickering again taking in whatever they reflected- at least for a moment before he unceremoniously yawned. Mmmmm. He would take a nap on the beach if he wasn't paranoid of being robbed or beaten up by Pokemon, heh. Chuckling a bit to himself, Orion slowed his walk down to a small crawl, just meandering a bit as he went.
It was in this way that he came across a Wimpod, not really registering the creature until he was right on top of it. She squeaked and retracted, he stepped back just as startled. "What-" Hmmmmm??? Orion squinted staring at the creature. He swore if he saw a Binacle, he was going to toss it at her, but when it seemed she was not near one, he frowned and threw out a Pokeball. A Croconaw burst forth and shook a bit ready to fight. "Screech then Crunch," he ordered. The Croconaw released an ear splitting scream that had the Wimpod chilled to the bone. However, as the croc came in for a bit, the Wimpod literally ran for it, disappearing into the water. Orion stared for a moment before looking at the Croconaw. The latter deadpanned forwards a bit irritated. Orion snickered softly. Well, guess not.
