A metallic sound rumbled in the air drawing Haiiro's eyes up to Steel again. Something had entered his fly zone if he was making such an irritated noise as that, but what it was, where it was, Haiiro was having a hard time seeing. A hand rose up and made a brow across his face before finally catching sight of the Rufflet in question. Blue eyes grew briefly before a series of hand gestures had all of his Pokemon turning to face it. The majesty of such a bird or rather what he would become given the species was not lost on Haiiro. However, it would take some care in training eventually.
Gloved fingers raised up, and another hand sign was given. The Mantyke Bubbles squeaked a little before gliding up in the direction of the Rufflet. She was very excited to battle, very eager to please. A series of bubbles formed and were sprayed outwards. The Rufflet dodged them with expertise but now had his sights set down towards her. A dark, fearsome expression filtered onto his face causing her to stop gliding up towards him briefly. Steel's cry, however, was enough to snap her out of it right after. An Air Slash was coming at her, and she took it with a decent amount of stamina before flapping her wings and summoning up rocks off a cliff. They came exploding sideways, hitting the Rufflet and causing him to cry out again. Crashing towards the ground, the bird was left severely disoriented and confused. He squirmed for a moment but not before Haiiro tossed a Pokeball in that direction.

MY ACTIONS WILL SPEAK FOR ME AND NOTHING YOU SAY WILL BE MORE LOUD ☼ This was just becoming a hectic amount of Pokemon and he wasn't sure how much longer he'd feel comfortable being out here in this level of exposure. As a little over half of the reptilian horde came his way, he felt a knot in his stomach telling him that this was a terrible idea and he wasn't going to be able to hold it together much longer out here. The shock of Mojave's evolution already had him pretty rattled as it was.
Sonoran took a couple of steps forward to meet up with two of the reptiles while his.... now much bigger mudkip??? Oh hey, Tafilalt evolved. The Marshtomp stepped forward to face the other three reptile pokemon with a soft gurgle, head tilting to watch what they'd do against him. Sonoran went ahead and charged his way towards the two Pokemon, a low growl coming from the Pokemon as the earth in front of him shattered and struck the two helioptile backwards, staggering them pretty well, both of them struggling to get back onto their feet already.
On Malik's other side, Tafilalt's gurgles turned into a Mud shot, knocking one of the helioptile out and backwards. The helioptile dealing with Sonoran both charged at him, only to be met with tackling a hard body, and another bulldoze as he pushed them back once more, making a croaking noise that almost sounded like a laugh as both Pokemon fell forwards, face first and down for the count.
Tafilalt was still holding off the last two of his three easily, hands catching the electric type attacks, seeming amused at their attempt to shock him as he gurgled up another mud shot, launching and striking another Helioptile, putting it down as he turned to deal with the remaining pest that had the guts to walk up here and strain their master even more.
Malik stayed quiet and watched the battle from where he was, feet cautious of a cactus he just barely missed as he continued backing up from the fight little by little as they also inched closer to him. The Helioptile looked frightened, but charged them again anyways, his tackle being met with a sturdier body and Tafilalt letting off one more point blank mud shot at the last standing member of the hoard to approach them.
Things seemed to finally start to cool down on Malik's side of the havoc, so the dark skinned trainer gave a wary look towards where Haiiro was, dark eyes watching the happenings in silence while his hands unconciously gripped the sides of his pants.

As the Pokeball dinged in capture, Haiiro didn’t even really have time to celebrate. It seemed another horde and a Cacturne had taken notice of the previous battle and decided to join the fray. Haiiro took in a weak breath. He returned Shadow, the Fraxure, and Bubbles for now, knowing they would be no good against such Typing. Not to mention they had already been out and were tired by this point. Steel was still good for recon and being the eye of the sky, not to mention his natural defenses as a Skarmory, but he only had two other Pokemon who hadn’t freshly battled in some form or fashion up to that point. A small, irritated ‘tch’ sound escaped from Haiiro.
A Bronzor and a Quilava burst from the two balls released onto the field. The prior fidgeted slightly while the latter roared in readiness. Several hand gestures were made, and the Bronzor began to vibrate with a Metal Sound, significantly reducing the defenses of the several Helioptile that were coming at them. The creatures stopped, flinched, and hissed in frustration very briefly. This was enough for the Quilava to come in with a well-timed Lava-Plume that fainted one immediately and did damage to the other three that was a little less. The other three managed to stay conscious and retaliated with several shocking maneuvers. The Bronzor and the Quilava grimaced as they took them, but thankfully each was able to maintain some stability for another round of the same relentless combination. A rush of sound, a burst of fire, and two of them fainted this time. The last remaining one was struggling at the very end of his rope and released a nasty Volt Switch, hitting the Quilava before trying to run. Haiiro let it go for now.
That would have been it had not the Cactune seemed to suddenly become mobile. Moving in a slow fashion, it raised both arms and released a series of Spikes only to the ground. Haiiro’s eyes narrowed, before he gave a quick sign to be careful. They could do this, he was sure, but an evolved Pokemon offered a harder opponent than a couple of weak wild unevolved ones did. The Bronzor trembled slightly but was reassured by the call of the Quilava. They could do this just as they had the others! Refueled for now, the Bronzor followed the instruction to release another Metal Sound, and the Quilava burst with fire once more. The Cacturne crashed backwards taking a severe amount of damage from the blow. Haiiro exhaled and threw a Pokeball at that one at least.
Haiiro sighed, feeling more than a little exhausted.
4 Heleoptile 1 Cacturne – evolved 3 points for Quilava, 3 points for Bronzor Catching Cacturne

MY ACTIONS WILL SPEAK FOR ME AND NOTHING YOU SAY WILL BE MORE LOUD ☼ Malik was sighing as well, feeling run into the ground by the barrage of Pokemon. He put his own back into their pokeballs and dusted his hands off, looking back to Haiiro to consider him for a moment, eyes following the other trainer's Pokemon to observe them for a moment longer.
"That..." He started, stopping his self to think. "got a little crazy." he finished with a short nod, stepping over the rocks to find another place to sit and cross his legs. Staring at the dust, he made a small motion with his hand. "Are you ok?" He felt like he asked that too many times, but at the same time, malik just felt like he could've been more helpful in some of those battles. He was still a young trainer and it stood out like a disgusting sore. NOTES: RIP sorry it took so long. My Malik "muses" got stabbed in the ass ☼ TAGS: Haiiro Navi

It would take a moment for Haiiro to be able to do anything after that. His head was a little numb, and mostly he was feeling rather than thinking. The Quilava pattered back over to him and leaned against his legs uncertainly while the Bronzor floated back over.
As Malik spoke, however, Haiiro came back to himself. Blue eyes flickered sideways as Malik spoke, and a small nod was given in agreement. That had been a little crazy— perhaps not nearly as crazy as some of his experiences had been but crazy enough right then. Was Haiiro ok? A small shrug and a head nod. He would be, eventually, probably. He was pretty tired of his excursion, however, and was already considering heading home for now but… A hand shifted to his notepad, and he managed to scratch out an answer for Malik.
-- I’m getting tired, but I’ll be alright --
It … was actually kind of strangely funny in a way…. He used to have so much more energy than this. He could have done so much more and been so much fiercer, but life had stripped him of such things far too early on.
Haiiro frowned but continued writing. -- I may head back to Sinclair, actually. -- The indoor city cooling system was going to be like the welcomed embrace of a friend, he swore.
