Mia was feeling good today! She'd been back in action for a while now and she was eager to get herself out there and fight! Of course, the whole incident with her arm had left her a little calmer than when she'd started, but all the same she needed to vent out the urges that had been building over the past months now that she'd finally adjusted to the arm Jazz made her. Aaaaaah!~ She just felt so good and full of energy she needed to let off some steam without picking a bar fight and upsetting Vesta or something...
OH! Pokemon battles, that'd be a great way to go about it...she had some eager challengers since her gym re-opened but she felt like something different, Loading up her pokeballs into the spare space in her right arm, she hopped on her bike and rode it up to the surface, running past an eager looking trainer that was heading towards the skydome. "Sorry kid! Got dibs!"
Rushing through the doors of the flying gym, Mia barged he way inside, holding out her arms and calling out to wherever Damian may be hiding, very unfamiliar with his gym and the surprise she was about to get. "Hey Dams! Come out birdbrain ya got a challenger!"

He was in the control room of the Skydome right now, patching up the final repairs to the low-gravity engine that he kept hidden from the rest of the world—it had been acting pretty faulty lately; had it not been Rhafiel who’d noticed that something was wrong with it he’d have completely missed it entirely.
Now that he’d gotten the root of the problem pinpointed, he then screwed the last few bolts in place before closing the hatch down on the compartment that kept it operational—and then right on cue, he saw someone burst into the Gym’s open doors, before nearly dropping a wrench on his foot because he’d recognized who it was.
Well, well, look who the cat dragged in… he thought to himself, quickly taking off the work apron he had on and tossing it aside, before whistling at his shadow and summoning the emerald-cored Sableye that was lurking in it. “Loki, go get my shit, I got someone to meet out front…” he said with a bit of a grin, turning his attention to the control panel and flipping the low-gravity switch on.
Back outside, the sliding doors would slip shut, before his “special guest” would find themselves slowly but surely starting to levitate in mid-air. I hope she doesn’t get airsick… I’d had that happen before… he thought as he quickly stripped off the work gloves and slung a jacket on—right at the moment Loki reappeared from somewhere with a bunch of Pokéballs.
“Thanks, Loki,” he said with a grin before continuing, “…you wanna watch?” and got a toothy smirk in response as the Sableye sunk itself into his shadow once more, before he made a mad dash to the door that led to the Gym proper and ever-so-casually floated out in a backstroke, finally letting out a minute sigh of relief because the damned thing was working again.
“How many times do I gotta tell you I’m not a birdbrain?” he began with a bemused grin on his face.
Tapping her foot with pseudo impatience, Mia was eager to see the tourist who laid claim to the above ground half of her city, stetching both her real and metal arm across her chest as she got ready for a fight, even if it was her pokemon that'd take the field she liked to shadow fight them, helping her stay in time with her fighters and realize better what they could, or could not do in any given moment. She was about to call out to Dams again when a sudden feeling of weightlessness overtook her.
"...Okay I knew this was the highest place in Liggs but I didn't know we left orbit."
Her body slowly flipping around with a natural momentum to it, and the weight of her metal arm pushing one side of her down while the other went up, by the time Dams got here Mia was upside down, her arms folded over her chest so she didn't fall out of her tank top.
"Yoooo buddyyyy!~" She began with a sarcastic smirk, curling a finger towards herself as an invitation for Damian to get closer. "How about you come over here and I knock your brain out of your head and we'll check if it has feathers. OR you can tell me how to get down and I can come over there to you!~"

Oh, how he loved the low gravity…
Smirking, he then saw Mia float from where she stood, effectively ending up in an upside-down position once he’d gotten close enough. Damian, on the other hand, was so used to the low gravity he was practically laid back and enjoying the feeling of weightlessness as it propelled him through the air.
“Oh, Mia, even if you tried to knock my brains out, I wouldn’t want… them coming after you,” he said with a bit of a cheeky grin, slowly flipping over so that at least the both of them were upside-down now; while she had her arms firmly crossed over her chest, he had his jacket silently flapping itself open. Thank Arceus he’d dropped the Pokéballs he needed down his jacket and zipped that shut otherwise it would be a mess.
And of course, he didn’t miss the now-obviously prosthetic arm his opposite number had. That made his eyebrows go up slightly, but he decided to shelve all those questions for much later.
“Well, if you know ‘pull the lever, Kronk,’ then you’d get the low gravity reversed and back to normal so we can get to it,” he continued with a grin, a bit of a cheeky grin on his face as he floated backwards towards one of the two challenger boxes that were currently held up by hydraulic supports.
“A’course, that means you take the other side!” he added with another grin, anchoring himself in once he’d reached his side of the arena and waited for her to flip the switch… or rather, pull that lever so both challenger boxes would be sent back down to the ground so they could begin.
Mia quirked her eyebrow as Damian mentioned 'them' coming after her but she assumed that he was talking about the pokemon in his jacket, smirking softly as she assured herself whatever Damian had, she could handle. As the bird brain finally pointed out what she needed to do, her eyes flickered up to the hydraulically supported platforms. "Just pull one of those huh Yzma? Alright. I'm game...just gotta..." Her eyes wandered back to the floor, then her upside down feet, wondering how to get back to the floor...with a rather awkward flap of her arms she managed to shift her weight and momentum enough to get herself in reach of the ground, resting both hands on the ground and aiming her feet towards the platform...just one good shove and...
The weightlessness of her body sending her flying up to the platform, still upside down, she only saw the platform once she'd already passed it, grumbling lightly as she tried to make a grab for it but was just out of reach, waiting till her feet touched the ceiling and kicking back towards the platorm and managing to land on it well enough this time, settling her feet in place before taking a firm grasp of the lever. "This one eh?" WIth a sharp pull, she tugged it down and waited for the gravity to...come back she guessed?

He was glad that the humor wasn’t lost on her, and that she’d actually understood the throwaway reference. I mean, if he wasn’t that obvious then…
“Hang on tight!” he yelled from the other side as he felt the low gravity come to a stop before both boxes lowered back down, hitting the ground with a loud thudding noise before the sides eventually peeled away. At the same time, the very dome started to open up to the sky, revealing that it was quite a fine day for challenges, never mind if the wind was still a bit on the chilly side.
“Okay, so what’s it gonna be? Three on three singles?” he asked, flexing his hands as he kicked up some of the sand on the ground and flexed his fists, eager to get started. He then let out a bit of a whistle, and for a few moments, his shadow seemingly extended before a pair of glittering eyes emerged and a Sableye eventually popped out of his shadow, ambling over to one side of the arena towards where the anchored-down bleachers were.
“Lemme know when you’re ready to start!” he called out a few moments later. He began to brew up a plan, just in case things got a little too hairy…
As the platform came down, Mia stumbled a little with Gravity's return and the weight returned to her form, but when the platform finally settled, she was fine, afterally her own gym had hydraulics shifting under half of the floor so it was a sensation she was easily used to. With Damian seeming to get ready too and offering a potential method for the challenge, she gave an easy nod and lifted her metal arm into the air infront of her face, pulling a small panel to slide across her forearm and revealing the shrunken pokeballs that were stored within.
"3 v 3 sounds perfect, and I think I know just who to start with..."
Closing up her metal arm, Mia reared back and tossed out her pokeball with a strong throw, the red flash releasing her Lucario, the blue jackal landing with a hard thud, and throwing his arm out to the side, letting out a confident roar as he rose to his full height, the red, tattered cloak he was wearing flowing out behind him before lifting his eyes to his opponent, pearing through sharp edged red shades, ready to take on the birds that were about to come to him.
"Excuse the costume, Kamina's been watching Gurren Lagann lately!~"

The moment Mia had sent out her first challenger, his mind then shifted into overdrive, before the sight of a Lucario in costume very nearly caught him off-guard. “Oh, that explains it,” he said softly to himself, his eyebrows still a little raised before mentally picking out just who to use for the first round.
If I go too hard I won’t have Azrael ready in time, but if I go too slow, then… he thought to himself, pondering on how to address this little problem. As his hands shuffled around in his jacket, he felt the groove of a heart-shaped etching under his fingers—and right then and there, he knew which ‘mon he’d end up using. Never mind if it looked like a soft option, but he couldn’t afford to go full guns blazing right out the gate now, could he?
Cracking a grin, he then pulled out a small marble form his jacket, popping it up to full size and tossing it skywards, before the red burst of light transformed into his overly-affectionate Altaria, Mishka. Moment the fluffy, sentient cloud had emerged, said Flyng-type then made a beeline for Damian before attempting to bury him in a hug of floofy cloud!
Well, way to ruin the rep, Mishka… he thought as he tried to fend off the overly-friendly Flying type before finally managing to peel himself away from her. “Alright, alright, Mish, I know it’s been a while. You mind? We have guests to entertain,” he said to the sentient fluffy cloud as he pointed across the arena, before the Altaria followed his gaze. Letting out an embarrassed chirp, the Flying-type then faced forward, looking right at the costumed Lucario right across the field.
How messy is this going to get? Well, let’s see… he thought to himself hoping that his choice wasn’t too soft. “First move goes to you, of course. Let’s go!”

Snickering softly as Damian was engulfed by the floofy bird, Lucario also let out a snicker along with Mia. The two rested back, rolling their eyes and waiting for Damian to get ready with his Pokemon. So he was going to let her have the first turn? Silly move there bud...!~
"Alright, Kamina! Rush in with calm mind and start off hard with a dragon pulse!" The Lucario confirmed the order before kicking forward, his mind focusing as he closed his eyes, leaping up into the air above the Altaria and rearing back his free arm, growing through his teeth and firing down a blue stream of energy towards the bird on the ground.
