Aleal wasn't Northern Era, but Dasha had to admit sometimes it was pretty close. Sometimes, if she closed her eyes and centered herself, she could imagine climbing up the rugged mountains that crossed the north to the frozen sea beyond. This was one of those times, actually. She'd set out with a pack and some Pokemon and searched out one of the highest mountains she could find.
Now she was several hundred feet up and feeling better than ever. A swing of a pick axe, and she was pulling herself higher and higher still. Sure, her Charizard flew about ready to catch her should she fall, but Dasha wasn't too worried as she was now. Another swing, and she'd come up to a ledge, finally. Easing onto it, she took a slow sated breath. Arceus, she hadn't done something like this since that Alola trip, and even then, that was with Kai. Being alone, doing this for herself and no one else, was an experience she relished more than she could put to words.
Looking over her shoulder, however, Dasha stopped short. Blue eyes blinked slowly, confusedly, as if she wasn't believing what she was seeing. A cave? What was it doing so high up? A cry caught her ears, and she looked forward again to see the worried gaze of her Charizard. "I'm fine," she assured. "Going to search some things out. Return for now." The Charizard whined a bit but would indeed return. Standing and sheathing her equipment, Dasha stared down to the tunnel. Where did this go?

Slowly down the tunnelway Dasha went, her eyes flickering one way and then the other. As a strange sound caught her ears, however, she stopped short. Something was coming? Scraping? Along. She shifted, her hands on a pair of Pokeballs, but what finally appeared had her stopping short for a moment. Wait what? Was that… an Aron rolling along with a Geodude? Dasha wasn't even sure if she wanted to fully understand, but it seemed like they were having some kind of fun or another? On seeing her, however, they stopped short and squinted. Dasha rolled her eyes. Well, guess that didn't last too long.
Her hand shifted, and a Pokeball flashed. A Sealeo came forth swaying a bit and calling her name. "Give them a Blizzard," Dasha ordered. The Sealeo gave a sharp couple of nods before spewing ice. The Geodude rolled back some causing the Aron to hop off. A Protect was used a bit too late to salvage the situation. The Geodude, however, was already using an Autotomize to increase his speed and readiness. Sparking with power, he collided with the Sealeo causing her to cringe and yelp briefly. Dasha's eyes grew realizing only then what kind of Geodude this was. She bit back a swear.
"Aqua Ring then Surf!" she countered. The Sealeo summoned up some water around her and gave herself a bit of a boost before shooting a wave at the Geodude and Aron. The latter took it the hardest, fainting pretty quickly from such force. The Geodude somehow managed to stay conscious and was once more Sparking with power. The Sealeo cried out yet again, and Dasha's eyes nearly watered. "Are you ok?" She wasn't, but she was conscious at least. Dasha nodded and once more gave orders. "Rest then Snore." The Sealeo very willingly fell asleep restoring herself in the process before doing some active sleep damage against the Geodude. The latter finally collapsed backwards, and Dasha exhaled.
Very briefly, Dasha debated whether or not to catch the Geodude at least, but after that, she shook her head. No, it was interesting but probably not a Pokemon she would raise herself. Hm? Sealeo was making some strange noises, and Dasha turned her attention back again. Bending down to the item the Pokemon was gesturing to, Dasha picked it up and twisted it around in her hands. A Thunder Stone… Hm, m-maybe she could keep this and see what Bright Star wanted to do, if anything. "Good work," she went on looking back to the Sealeo who beamed in response.

Right before her eyes, the Sealeo began to glow thereafter, growing and becoming more powerful than before. As a Walrein burst forth and called out, Dasha grinned a bit too much. "Good job!" she emphasized proudly. What a powerhouse! A couple congratulatory pats were given before she shifted to return the beast for now. Crying out, the Walrein clapped along happily before easing up once more. Dasha smirked softly before finally returning her and looking back along the cavern way again. Hm, actually, that looked like another Thunder Stone embedded in that wall? Walking over, Dasha squinted as she came to it before finally reaching forward to pull it out. Sure enough, the stone came right out. Dasha's brow quirked, but she pocketed the item all the same.
Wandering further inwards, Dasha slowly hummed to herself. It was getting darker but not dark enough that she needed a flashlight just yet. Turning down a corner, however, she froze suddenly on seeing a Sableye and Noibat walking up the other way together. Hmph, those were two Pokemon she had been looking for for a while. There was something effortlessly cute about a Noibat, and a Sableye had a good about of potential or so she was learning. Fishing out a Pokeball, she released a Horsea that floated about in front of her. "Dragon Dance," came the order that the small dragon quickly followed. She was powered up now, stronger, faster. The Sableye and Noibat that had noticed this challenge now seemed less than enthused. Dasha frowned and fished out another Pokeball releasing a Psyduck as well. Maybe that would even the odds some.
The battle that transpired was something of a mess. While the Horsea had clear orders and could follow them, shooting sharply at the Noibat, the Psyduck was less trained overall and was struggling to keep up by comparison. At the very end, however, none of this mattered as the wild Pokemon were defeated. Dasha smirked a bit proudly before fishing out two Pokeballs nad tossing them at each.
