Camarilla wobbled as she took her first steps off the boat. It had been a long journey from her home region, so she was unsurprised that she'd lost her land legs. She let out her Rhyhorn and side saddled him. "Nice to be on dry land, right Ned? Could you get us out of the way of the other passengers? I'm finding it difficult to walk." The large rock beast let out a gentle roar and trudged forward. They traveled around the pier and found an empty spot with a railing looking out at the water. Camarilla hopped down from her mount and held onto his saddle as she did some leg stretches. "Sheesh, I didn't think I'd be this shaky. Maybe I should switch to my boots?" Her Pokemon gave a small grunt, seeming uninterested in her question. "Yeah, I guess I can just ride you around and avoid the issue." Looking at the horizon of the city, the young woman took in a breath. "The sting of the salt really opens up your lungs. Oh, that's a good opening line!" Camarilla reached into her pouch and produced a pad of paper. She scribbled down her last sentence and gave a nod. "Hmm, now the question is, should I write about the dock area, or the city as a whole?" She frowned a bit as she pulled out her camera and took a few shots of the pier. "I mean...I guess it would be silly to write an article about a city and release it in said city. I could say it's from the viewpoint of a tourist, but that just might make me seem not credible." The girl shrugged and looked to Ned. "Well, either way, I should definitely get a picture of this memory. Our first city in the Veria Region is definitely a milestone! Let me just get everyone out." Camarilla released her three remaining Pokemon a pointed at the Rhyhorn. "Everyone gather on Ned!"
The Pokemon were accustomed to their trainer's photo shoots, and quickly fell into place while she set up her tripod. Aer Jordin the Pidgey flew to Ned's horn and perfectly perched atop it. He gave the camera a fierce glare. Dusty Bottoms the Sandshrew scrambled up onto the saddle and sleepily sat down. Sonny Day the Sunflora took a spot behind Dusty and wore his usual grumpy expression. Camarilla clicked the timer and jogged to the right of her Pokemon. She leaned in and smiled. "Say roar!" Everyone called out in unison shortly before the flash. Once the picture was taken, the young woman grabbed her camera and nodded in satisfaction. "Wonderful! The size looks great and we're in the center of the frame!"
With that out of the way, Camarilla mounted Ned, seated behind her other Pokemon, and pointed to the inner city. "Let's go Ned! We should take the road. The sidewalks look to be for humans and smaller Pokemon." The Rhyhorn trotted forward and slid into traffic. Goldenrod had been a rather busy city as well, so the group was accustomed to city roads. As they traveled down the streets, Camarilla periodically took pictures of the sights. At the same time, she kept her eyes peeled for any people that might be of interest.
