Sitting on the subway in his Mimikyu mask Niso got a handfull of odd looks, but with Golurk sleeping today to recharge his batteries and Karlak...well he was still missing, Niso didn't really have many other options in terms of transport. He just convinced the station attendees he was going to a convention somewhere down the line, but his little tool bag and the Mimikyu sitting in it was part of his real purpose. His head lifted up as the station called out a stop in Carrefor close to the Graveyards, and hopping out of his seat he made his way to the door, and up onto the surface.
Once he'd reached the graveyard itself the odd looks didn't stop, why was a kid wearing a halloween mask in summer in a graveyard? The people who'd come to see their deceased friends and families would just stare at him as if he was being disrespectful, but hey, he was about to be a LOT more disrespectful, so why did he care?
As he got to the back of the graveyard he set his tool bag down infront of some of the older graves, the ones that didn't have family anymore, at least not family that knew they well enough to care. Two gravestones, particularly close together, were what caught his eye. With the help of his Mimikyu he gave them a quick tidy up. Tearing off vines, scorching the grass and weeds around it with flames thanks to Will-o-wisp. Sure it got rid of all the grass but to him they looked nicer than the overgrown mess it was before.
『Margeret smith and Timmy Smith...』 Having cleaned off the stones and the graves infront of them, Niso took a long breath and reached back into his tool bag, placing a few of the tools before him and handing a matching set to Mimikyu so he could help. Niso was far enough from the main graves that he had no issue yanking his mask off his head, tossing it behind himself into the tool bag and starting to chisel off the names on the gravestones so they were ready to be replaced.

| “Did you see that creepy kid?” A woman’s voice whispered harshly to her friend, making herself just loud enough that everyone could hear her. “He was parading around in some disturbing Pokémon mask. Probably going to frighten people mourning their loved.”
“Kids these days, they have no respect,” the woman’s friend replied, not bothering to whisper as the two of them continued to walk past Hades. It was clear the two ladies were hoping their conversation would be heard by one of the caretakers. Sadly for them, the only caretaker around seemed to be daydreaming to himself as he stood there gazing up at the sky.
Instead, their gossip had reached the ears of Hades. While a kid playing in a mask wasn’t unusual, the description of the mask did perk his interests a bit. It was a long shot, but a ting of hope did swell up inside the bit of his stomach. Even if it ended up being exactly what the two ladies had guessed, it could still be interesting to see what became of the little trickster. So, without a moment more to think about it, Hades decided to go in search of this so-called ‘kid’ in a disturbing mask.
Sadly, Hades had no luck finding the kid. Whatever the little trickster was up to, it seemed Hades had missed him. He was just about to decide to head back towards the town when something else caught the corner of his eye, causing Hades to pause. A young man, looking to be around eighteen or nineteen, was sitting hunched over a set of old graves. Had it not been for the boy’s dark hair, Hades may have missed him. Now seeing someone next to a grave really wasn’t that unusual since you know, it was a graveyard and all. However, this particular area seemed to hold a lot of older graves, most appearing to have been forgotten about for a very long time. Yet the graves the boy was in front of were free from the overgrown vines, weeds, and grass. Upon further inspection, it almost looked like the boy was chiseling away at the stone. Now, Hades was no expert on graveyard caretaking, but he was certain this young man was not hired to recurve names on headstones. That fact alone held Hades’s attention, his golden eyes watching as the boy worked. He didn’t say anything, nor did he attempt to approach him. No, for now, he just watched and waited, curious to see exactly what was going to happen next.

Niso was unaware of his watcher, somewhere more public he may have been far more cautious, but in this case he was somewhere he didn't expect many people to be, and kinda focused on the task at hand. Before long he'd managed to scrape away clean strips where the names and dates had been, a fine light grey with scratch marks now contrasting the darker, worn, dirty grey of the rest of the gravestone. With a heavy sigh Niso tipped his head back, trying to remember what exact year he'd 'snapped' before returning to the stones, stapping the end of the chisel in and hammering away. it was a shoddy job, but he managed to get the numbers in there, the end dates on both graves now marking the same year, before he started to work on the names.
Mimikyu took a sideline now, he didn't know the names Niso was spelling out but he knew they were important, and before long two scratched out names, like the writing one would leave in the bark on a tree with a knife, were left on these old gravestones, replacing the names of the people truly buried beneath them. Niso rested his tools in his lap and his crossed legs, taking in the names infront of him. Melissa and Arata Konto...
"Hey mom...dad...long time..." He ruffled the back of his neck and lowered his head, fiddling with the toys in his lap. He wanted to say something specific but he wasn't able to work up the nerve now that he was face to face with, what to him, in his warped mind, was now his parent's graves. 『...I erm...I did the thing I wanted to do...it...It was satisfying. I don't have to be...scared anymore.』
Mimikyu hadn't really seen Niso be 'down' in the slightest, let alone upset, and slowly crawled into his crossed legs, Niso couldn't make eye contact with the stones anymore, toying with Mimikyu's ears as he continued to talk. 『Made a cool friend, had a top hat...don't hear from him anymore though. Got into some fights with these guys called the Benoits...they're kinda douchebags but...eh. I tease him but...Lucien ain't so bad. He's...he talked to me and made me figure out...this in a weird way.』
Bouncing Mimikyu a little he ruffled the toy-pokemon's head back and forth like a loose bobble head and smirked. 『I got a girlfriend. You guys woulda loved her. She won a contest lately too...she's so..imaginative and free and good and kind and bubbly and...just...』He let out a heavy sigh and finally looked up to the graves, holding Mimikyu's fake head down a little. 『...I wish I'd met her back then...before I did...』 Niso breathed heavily through his nose, and turned his eyes down again.
『Before I killed you both.』
