Riding atop his Golisopod, the pokemon having tugged in it's limbs and started aqua jetting across the grey plains of the wasteland, Niso was eager to see what had become of his little side effect of immortality. He'd caught up on everything that was public knowledge, like the fact some huge pokemon had been moving in, but other than that there really wasn't much to go on. He did get an odd sense of delight knowing everything as far as he could see right now was all his doing. Ah the grand sense of "I did this" was real, even as he passed the grey lifeless corpse of an ursaring laying face down in the grass, likely having been running away from the life pillar at the time.
"Alright, lets see if we can find any of those new pokemon who moved in. They've gotta be strong to survive out here afterall!~"

As the heavy slam of the dragon pokemon landing before them sounded, Niso slowly leaned forward and pet his Golisopod just above the eyes without a word, giving it the signal to turn around. He'd kinda been a bit dumb and hadn't brought any of his larger pokemon on this trip, so the urgency to "leg it" as they say was pretty high as the dragon stared them down, especially as embers flickered in it's maw.
Before long the lowered Golisopod turned a 180 and shot off along the lifeless grass with his aqua jet aiding his escape, Niso managing to hold onto his pokemon's antena to keep a good strong hold while the Salamence chased after them, rapidly realizing he should have brought Bruce or Garchomp or some other big pokemon to back him up on this trip. Instead, all he had was some small, pathetic pokemon to help him. Pulling two pokeballs out, he tossed them out without much thought, just needing to delay the dragon before he came its immortal chewtoy for the rest of the day. Bursting forth from the pokeballs where a Pupitar and a Tynamo, hardly the best pokemon to deal with such a strong species, but they could delay it at the very least.
"Tynamo! Thunder wave! Pupitar! Rock slide!"
The chasing salamence reared back with a dragon claw as the pupitar prepared itself with a dragon dance, the enhanced speed barely letting it dip to the side, thankfully aided by the thunder wave that overtook the distracted dragon, paralyzing it and forcing it to the ground, the angered lizard forcing itself to it's feet, growling viciously as it tried to lunge for one of the two tiny pokemon, Niso watching from a safe distance as a barrage of rocks fell upon the dragon's back, bringing a screech from it as it tried to push back against the weight, random bursts of flamethrower firing in any and every direction the dragon could throw it's head, trying to push itself out of the rocks that had fallen upon it.
"Oi! You think we want it getting out!? Rock slide again! Tynamo! Charge beam to keep it down!"
As the rocks tumbled away the pupitar was quick to add more weight to the pile, clearly a little worn out from adding power to generate more rocks from the air, breathing deeply as the Tynamo took charge, firing through the cracks in the pile to shock the Salamence, its types canceling out any advantage, but the tiny pokemon could still give it a fair stinging sensation. Angered, the salamence only tried harder, spreading it's wings with every muscle it could muster and emerging from the rock pile, glaring down at the tiny pokemon, rearing back for another flame thrower upon the two of them. Knowing it held the advantage here, the pupitar moved forward, tanking the firey strike long enough to summon another barrage of rocks, slamming them down into the dragon, leaving the tiny pupitar panting, glaring at it's trainer with frustration for putting it against something so huge.

Returning the somewhat terrified tynamo for now Niso gave his Pupitar...what was supposed to be a pet. Yeah. He wasn't used to being affectionate. He just gave it a slow series of taps with his fingers on the head, coming off more frustrating than reassuring or comforting, earning weird looks from both the pupitar and Golisopod alike, which in turn just earned a sharp glare from Niso.
"I'm trying. Sue me. You're both harder to read than Sera and she's a human." The pokemon rolled their eyes before picking up and moving on, leaving the salemence behind, not realizing such a strong KO would only bring more unwanted attention.
It wasn't long before a Malamar spotted the knocked out dragon, it's sharp eyes following the human and it's pokemon as they trailed away. Without many places to hide in the wasteland, the pokemon saw no reason to be sneaky, lashing out with one of it's tentacle arms towards the pokemon in the distance. A psycho cut blasted across the dead grass. Niso could hear it cut through the air, assuming it was a flying type attack and grabbing the Pupitar to his side, wirling around and forcing the dark type to take the attack, thankfully harmlessly.
"...Don't gimme that look. I'm immortal but I still feel pain."
Tossing the Pupitar like a football as it glared at him, the pokemon showed a sense of alarm, especially as the Malamar whipped out a superpower against it, the smaller pokemon dipping to the side in an attempt to dodge, alarm clearly wringing in it's eye, hitting the dead, dry ground and rolling to hover in the air again, glaring at the Malamar and Niso in equal measure. A malamar had a certain advantage when using superpower, something he couldn't really keep up with. With the constant increases in defense, he could only fire dark pulses, slowly wittling the Malamar down till it was weakened enough for the trainer and his two pokemon to ditch, riding off on Golisopod's back, aqua jetting into the distance.

Niso smirked a little as he returned his pupitar, feeling he’d done enough to help them survive the trip home and not feeling that he had too much to fear from the big pink bear infront of them right now. He stepped forward with a teasing smirk, opening his arms as the bear seemed to do the same approaching him, chuckling a little at the mere fact something so friendly and trusting could survive out here. “Aw what’s the matter big guy? You need a hug? All lonely without you’re friends out he-HUCK!”
Niso was sent flying by a sudden hammer arm across his torso, the hard dry, dust like ground giving him friction burns as he skidded across the floor, skimming it even like a pebble on a pond before landing in a heap of agony and shattered bones, whimpering as he could barely find himself able to stand without healing, slowly feeling his arms clicking back into place and forcing his hands onto the floor to push himself up, staring at the bare in disbelief and releasing two of his own pokemon, Tynamo rapidly releasing a thunderwave to give his next pokemon, Kabuto, an advantage as it was brought out.
“Fuck that thing up…ugh I’m just…gonna lie here till I can feel my heart beating again…”
Slumping down to the ground, Niso left his Kabuto somewhat alarmed but he tried not to question it too hard since he hadn’t seen his trainer’s immortality in effect yet. With his opponent in the distance slowed by his paralysis, the Kabuto shot forward to try and catch it off guard, cutting it left and right with a series of aqua jet’s till a narrow miss of a hammer arm scared him out of doing it again, letting out a slow breath before he gained distance again, firing off Mega drains in their place. Thankful the big slow bear didn’t seem to have any long range attacks, firing off again and again till it dropped to the ground, just taking in the fact he’d knocked out out, so far from anything that was likely to give a crap if it lived or died…
But then Niso gave another loud groan, and he rushed to his trainer to see what he could do to help.

Nearly out of the wasteland, a ghost pokemon blocked their path. Niso was mildly annoyed, but for a weird reason. Were WHERE all the ghost types? This was a place of mass extinction so it seemed a bit odd that he hadn't seen more of them, but he supposed if he drained all their life essence there'd be no soul for them to carry on with into the form of a ghost type. Maybe this was one of the few, rare outliers. Nevertheless, he wanted to get home, watch the new rick and morty or something. With a flippant flick of the wrist he sent out his Tynamo, feeling the small electric type should be able to manage it with a small hand from Golisopod.
An opening aqua jet weakened the Fire ghost and distracted it from a following thunder wave, leaving it in a weakened state for the Tynamo to finish off on his own. Niso's smile was soft yet devious as he watched the firey ghost grow slightly angered by the opening rush of attacks, quickly wanting to retaliate with a flame burst of his own. Thankfully, not only did it miss, but the grass was dry and dead to the point that, even as it caught fire, it didn't maintain the flame for long enough to allow it to spread. A charge beam soon followed, striking the weakened chandelure, and again to try and take it out, the dark child snickering as the ghost seemed to be going down so easily, walking over it as it floated to the ground.
"Perhaps the wasteland isn't all it's cracked up to be on the news!~"
