Louise listened carefully to each of the gym variants that her contemporaries had, and attempted to tie them to the personality traits that she had heard so far. None of them sounded particularly interesting to her, and she wondered what sort of emotions the trainers would feel going into each challenge. That then brought on the question of why she did what she did. After all, the one thing that she cared about was observing trainers go through the wringer emotionally. She thought of the best way to say this and just said, "Fear. I believe that the best metric for a trainer is to show them true fear. If they can overcome that, they deserve my badge."
She then stood up once more. She didn't even notice it, but her body was starting to move instinctively as she imagined her gym challenge. "I merely show them the bleakness of human existence, and how little it matters in the grand scheme of things. It is really enlightening to look at a jar of dust that used to be a human. The state that we were all born from, and the state from which we will all return. If they can breed lilacs into the dead land, by mixing their memories and desire, then they are worthy of my praise. My gym is more of an emotional experience rather than anything else. After all, emotions are the basis for human existence, and thus the most important thing for someone such as myself to observe," She said passionately, before she sat herself back down. He took a sip of her wine, with the happiness still being visible on her face. She was exceptionally proud of what she created, even if others believed it was sick.

Mia supposed Muse had a point but at the same time the way she ran her gym it was as much a challenge of a challengers mindset as it was there body. Heck, it was far more the former and she was a little offended no one saw it that way...heck had she not even said that? Maybe she should elaborate a little. She was about to open her mouth just as Kiran opened theres, eyes widening at the light show going on...then narrowing slowly, placing her cup on the table as she swung her legs up to rest her feet on another nearby chair, pointing at Kiran across the table.
"You're one of those aura shits aren't you?" Now Mia didn't have much personally against aura users, but something about them always rubbed her the wrong way. She knew full well how much effort it took to learn how to use aura, for most at least, but to her, someone who honed her body and skill, she always felt like Aura, however it was used, was some weird little...'cheat mode' on a human. Still she was meant to get along here, so with a sigh she ruffled her own hair. "Sorry nothing against ya personally I just..." She waved her hand dismissively. "Bad experiences with scrawny little aura users putting up way more of a fight then they have any right to."
Pushing her hair back and out of her eyes, she gave the dark gym leader in their presence an odd look as she made such a declaration of apparently scaring trainers, without saying much that explained her gym's gimmick...as far as Mia could tell. "Riiiiight okay..." Nodding along as if she understood any of that, she looked between them all. "Well look guys, can see you all think your gyms are the shit like I do mine, so I ain't gonna dispute yas-" Even if I am the winner still. "But mine's as much challenging a trainer's mental state as any of yours. Sure, aura face, Marceline the vampire queen, you both wanna scare kids for some reason, no judgement, but my gym...I'm testin' if they can put aside a bit of natural fear, and face a foe with their Pokemon, make sure they can handle themselves and fight alongside rather than behind their 'mon ya know?"
She swung her chair around with her feet back on the ground, gesturing vaguely as she made her point. "Sorry for the cheeky comment about 'winning' but for real, I'm proud o' my gym. I think it's great testing trainers to see if they're willing to fight themselves, and heck, I ain't never gonna hurt any of them. I was once proud a kid just tried despite me constantly holding him at arm's length!~ Little shit even tried biting my hand! Little guy had some pluck!~"

The Ice trainer sipped the wine, taking in the situation and the scene; some of them seemed very touchy about their gyms as if this was some sort of a pissing contest. All in all, she really didn't care; her goal was just to establish her place in the ranks. Maybe that place wasn't at the top of the pecking order, but she herself was no pushover--
Wait was the green one glowing? She had to admit, that was one hell of a party trick, and one that almost made her spit out her wine at that. But once the initial shock wore off, it really was a neat ability. She'd met Faith awhile back, and after seeing a petite woman floating over the surface of the water, she wasn't as taken aback so much as she was somewhat jealous. ...Where was Faith, anyway...?
The dark gym leader seemed....a little creepy to be honest. And the fighting gym leader...did not seem to take too well to the aura use.
"Well, it does make sense to be proud of your gym; I mean if you've got no faith in it, you may as well just give it up," she remarked, finishing her glass of wine and setting the cup on the table.
She, for the most part ignored Mia and her talk of fighting; it was interesting but it just wasn't the red-haired woman's cup of tea. She'd been trained in various martial arts as a youngster, but it wasn't something she had a passion in. What Muse did do, was turn her attention to Kiran.
"That, I must admit, is an intriguing ability. I approve," she said with a smirk. While they'd seemed quiet and timid at first, that whole ordeal showed another side of the Grass Gym Leader. One that Muse had to admit she liked.

..... HUFF. The lack of reaction from Louise-- who Kiran had been so ready to assume would appreciate a strong sense of aesthetic??-- and the petty bitching (as far as they were concerned) from Mia both got Kiran feeling... Well, a range of things. Offended, maybe borderline pissed, and a heaping helping of embarrassed for starters. Their only expression of this, however, was to purse their lips and become a bit more withdrawn in posture again once the lights faded.
At the very least, Muse of all people showed some approval. Kiran muttered something incoherent in response, probably along the lines of a thank you or an at least someone does. At the very least it should be obvious this time Kiran wasn't 'shy' per se, they just didn't want to talk to anyone right now.
