Samantha "Cat" Parker
Cat | 22 (jun 4th Hug your cat day Gemini) | Female / Homosexual |
Faraday | Trainer | Model (Idol) / Interpol agent |
Appearance
---Samantha---
Samantha is fairly tall for a woman at 5'10, with a fairkly curvaceous figure, a slim waist with curvy, but not overly wide hips, and DD breasts that tend to draw some attention even when held under her "suppressive" interpol uniforms. Her red hair is always cut short and with a headband helping give it a messy yet never "in the way" state. Her blue eyes are rather vibrant and help stand out from her messy hair. Her skin is always smooth and fair, and while working out constantly to aid her career, she remains only "firm" beneath her skin, never showing any signs of bulking up.
Her casual clothes tend to be comfortable without never being too revealing, though at the same time if they are, she would see little reason to care as it's everyone else's fault if they wish to perv on her. Her usual interpol uniform is a form fitting, high necked shirt, covered with a protective plate like armoring over her upper chest and forearms, with looser, canvas pants allowing for swift movement and deep pockets.
For referance on her uniform's top half, See Judy Hopps
---Cat---
While their bodies remain majorly the same (though her public information may state some of her measurements are smaller or larger then they actually are for publicity) the main difference between Cat and Samantha visuallly is her ears, eyes, and hair. Firstly, she wears feline contacts, a special brand that can react to minor spasms around her eyelids. Essentially by twitching a muscle around her eyes, she can make her pupils appear as slits. Her eye colour is also a nearly luminescent yellow rather than her usual striking blue. As for her hair, it is pure white in contrast to her usual red, and extends far beyond her shoulders to the point it would brush against her rear. A benefit of her hair being a wig is her "neko ears" are attatched directly to the wig. Much like her contacts, she can adjust her feline ears my adjusting muscles in her scalp, though this was someth9ng that took a very long time to get used to.
As for her state of dress, Cat is far more flirtatious in her choice of clothing, her PR people ensuring that if she's not wearing designer labels, she's wearing something exceptionally flirty, though more often than not, it will be a combination of both.
Personality
---Samantha---
Samantha, or Sam as she would definately prefer people to call her (Calling her Samantha makes her instinctively feel as though she's in trouble or being scolded.) Is a rather serious person, especially while on the job. If you were to pair her with a "Joker" she would not do well, and would purposely plan around such an idiot rather than incorporate him. Nevertheless, she tries her best to be approachable, and will seem much more calm on the surface when out in public. While her pokemon are in sense a work force, they're certainly her most treasured companions, leading her to pamper and cuddle them on the nights she isn't partaking in her other work.
Sadly, she is never the "best" around men. She will hold a conversation with those of the male persuasion, but will always be on the lookout for reasons to not like the person. Like making sure she knows where their eyes wander, or looking for any signs that they may be "arrogant". The only men who tend to do well around her are those she respects, such as her higher ups in interpol.
---Cat---
Cat is far more sociable than Sam, and takes on a much more "free" lifestyle. Over her years of working Cat has almost become a different identity entirely, leading Sam to change the way she acts on instincts whenever putting on her wig and contacts. She becomes far more flirtatious with females and more accepting of males, though even then they aren't in her good books, to the point some papers employed female writers just to interview her on at least two occasions.
Within her alter ego is a futher state of personality. While usually presented for show, her usual serious nature can mix with her feline behaviour, leading to a predator like state of authority when faced with someone who is insulting her, or playing about at a time when games should not be played. Her usual playful kitten nature becomes that of a stalking tigress, and the view of her alone can silence a room.
Of course this being her second life, Cat dosn't have much experience of "existing" without a camera knowingly aimed at her, but Sam has recently gotten into a weird habit of donning the persona in her free time, finding it helps her to relax.
History
Growing up on the early sinclair line, a train where anyone could get on or off, Sam was acustomed to crime being almost commonplace. Of course Sinclair was never as bad as some of the darker spots of, say, Orre, but it certainly had it's dark times before police knew how to better handle who could get off at each stop to avoid the possibility of criminals escaping being under suspicion if they timed their crimes right. Still, these fixes were after she got a taste of how crime could affect people. As a child, she was never a major target personally, but her parents apartment in the first cart (the richer apartments) Was robbed during her early leaves, leaving a fairly traumatic impression as she returned to find a ransacked home, with anything that wasn't stolen being broken or tossed over the floor.
As she grew up, she focused on being an agent for interpol, focusing on practice tests for basic police code and law, as well as physical exercises along with the studies needed to equip herself with enough grades to actually get into an official training program to join the force. As far as her reasoning went for interpol over a local police force? It was simply a sense of scale. While what she'd personally been affected by would never be in interpol's line of sight, she felt it was better to help more people with bigger problems...and maybe help her avoid actually talking to people, about their problems, in person.
She didn't exactly have the best interpersonal skills afterall.
Sadly, when she got to the acadamy she was forced to hold a part time job. Her parents of course offered to pay any bills she had, and even let her live with them until she was done with her extensive training, but she felt it would be better if she tried extra hard to live life on her own instead.
The sad part was...her overtraining for work as an interpol agent left her with very view skills as far as she could find for part time work. Her inter-personal skills for one made her easy to fire due to the low level of customer satisfaction she had, and even beyond that, menial tasks like stock checks or deliveries would be riddled with mistakes, her mind always drifting to her training and studies rather than focusing on the tasks at hand. She needed something that payed, could actually be done while her mind was elsewhere, and wasn't too time consuming. It was only when trying to work at Sinclair's second subway that she was approached by a customer who suggested she show up for a try-out shoot for models taking place on the roof gardens the next day. It paid well if she was chosen to be published, and it could potentially lead to more work, so with a shrug she thought "Why not."
Luckily enough, despite her rigorous training her body had developed quite well, leading to her having the body for the shoot at the very least. Doubly lucky, her "Half there" mindset seemed to add something to the photos she took, making her look oddly more professional as her poses never seemed too forced thanks to her faraway expression while taking them. She got several chances to do more shoots, and a hefty paycheck...the issue only came when she turned up on Sinclair's fashion magazine. Her fellow trainees at the training facility began to treat her like a joke. While the women would perhaps compliment her on how she looked, the men would leer and joke about her "getting them out". Still in her formative years, it lead to her despision of men, degrading them into her minds into beings lesser than even pokemon, cause at least pokemon had more emotions than "ignorant horndogs."
As such, she didn't want to be recognized next time, if ever, she got into a magazine for some money. With some time to think, and one of her lined up chances being another try-out shoot, she showed up wearing a wig and contacts under the alias "Cat". With the freedom of not being recognized, she tried some new things with the shoot, leading to her impressing the photographers further, and keeping her idenity well hidden.
Over time, especially as she proceeded from the acadamy to an actual position as an agent within interpol's ranks, her model work and interpol work clashed more and more, though her own tastes diverged equally. Everytime she was at work on a case, she found herself counting the reasons to quit her "cat" identity, while at the same time, while at a shoot, she found herself considering to stop being an interpol agent, which always surprised her...
She had to pick one. Or so she thought.
Due to an unexpected complication during one of her missions, Sam was offered a deal to keep her on the payroll while also suppressing any urge she may have had to go to any form of press about the errors interpol had faced on that mission. Of course, she'd never sell out interpol, everyone she worked with was her family, but the deal was just what she needed. She was given a reduced paycheck, and promotions were not in her future until her deal was receeded, something only she could choose to do, but her work hours were drastically reduced, leading to her only rarely doing her own paperwork, and allowing her to continue her increasingly detailed life as Cat. Occasionally of course, longer missions would still require her attention, such as undercover jobs, or simply field work that ran way over time and forced her to miss events Cat had to attend.
Luckily, her PR manager cutely referred to these instances as "Cat naps", and so long as Cat appeared for the event in the future (such as re-scheduling an interview or shoot) looking cutely tired, her popularity only rose.
As it stands, Sam is a lesser known agent among interpol's ranks, who takes her job far more seriously than her lesser work hours may appear, while Cat is a growing name around Veria. While not the level of a contest performer, she has appeared on several shows for interviews, promotes many products, including a "Neko" line she owns personally, and makes the odd public appearance due to her sheer popularity among the more nerdy of Veria's populace who adore her kitty ears, and even those who just admire her surprisingly mature form despite her kitty like nature.

---Physical traits---
Major (2) : Agility
With two very distinct uses for this trait, as an Interpol agent, Sam's agility was born from foot chases after criminals or even vital Pokemon from the scene of a crime. While her straight line speed is perhaps not the best, her ability to shift and use the environment to her advantage is very well honed, tending to catch off those she's chasing with a clever use of difficult shortcuts or avoiding obstacles without breaking momentum. As Cat, her body just has a natural fluidity to it, with an odd sharpness all the same. While she can dance and bend in fluid and unique ways respectively, she always has a sense about her that she is ready to pounce, and even shows that she has been able to manage crawling on all fours without any discomfort in her joints.
Minor (1) : Athleticism
Working for Interpol and having to keep her stage appearance looking good, Sam's body is trained in a well rounded manner, not too bulky or even slim, but just maintaining a healthy balance between both extremes. While she is somewhat strong, her training is more focused in anything that aids her endurance and speed.
Other Information
---Sam Facts---
She has a wound from a pokemon across the left side of her scalp, though this is usually well hidden by her hair.
She carries a standard issue baton with her uniform, though she's constantly making requests for this to be upgraded to a tazing baton. Her tendancy to be rough with male criminals however is the reason this is constantly declined.
---Cat Facts---
Cat's PR team have taken some liberties with information displayed on public profiles. For one her chest is "allegedly" a few centimeters larger, while her waist is a centimeter smaller.
Futhermore, it is stated she is bisexual, and she is inclined to, now and then, flirt with a male when taking part in an interview or TV-spot, in order to keep interest from her male fan-base. While she tells herself it is demeaning, she in truth does not mind it, her Cat personality actually seeming to split from her by showing very rare bi-curious tendancies.
Cat's name is on a brand of "Neko" style products, from kitty hair bands to tails. Though this was originally done by her manager without permission, she quickly relished it, though her custom made ears and contacts are not easy to find on the market.
She's debated adding a tail to her costume in the past, but has three issues with it. For one, it tickles the back of her legs, two, there isn't any way of making it "real" like her ears and tail (plus it'd be far too obvious when doing lingerie shoots), and finally, it would be far too revealing, constantly forcing her to cut holes in outfits or force her to wear low riding pants.
