Stretching his back out, Adrian had rolled his self out of bed early to continue on his way to do some collecting. Apparently, if he wanted anything that could help him with his quest to become a stronger bug type trainer, he had to get the incentive to go searching for mega stones and Z Crystals. While he could simply buy evolutionary items for his own Pokemon, he'd definitely be out of luck with the other options.
With his Joltik on his shoulder and his Wimpod tucked away in the ball carefully, he and his Scolipede made their way into the Liggs mine. "So how do you suggest we start this task?" He asked to his Pokemon, absently. No answer was returned to him, as expected. They knew a rhetorical question when one was asked. So they listened to him sigh before following him deeper into the mine, their master pushing his glasses up to get a better view around the cave.
"Let me know if you guys see anything I miss."

Luckily, his little tick like pokemon on his shoulder was quicker than a whip with spotting things in tiny nooks and crannies. Mostly for the fact he was probably looking for electrical sources. Stopping when Argasidae make a static noise, climbing down his arm and across the ground, he decided to follow the small bug when he disappeared behind some rubble.
"Now don't go and get yourself hurt again. Careful." He huffed out as he sat on his heels, watching as the Joltik came out with a ... yea no way. "Well, this makes our venture a lot easier than when we started. Good job Argasidae." Holding his free hand out to his pokemon, he let the tick climb back up onto his shoulder to continue their ride through the caves, his Scolipede following behind patiently.
Ever vigilant for signs of danger.

Muttering an old song to his self, the trio continued in the old caves, looking about until they came to a clearing where it seemed to have collapsed a little. Looking up to the opening, Adrian squinted against the light pouring in, looking over to his Joltik with a shrug. They weren't scared of underground, their uncle was a ground type trainer and a miner anyhow. They were used to it.
He stopped his move to walk away when he noticed something strange though. The mossy rock seemed different from the others around it. Frowning, he picked it up and held it to his Scolipede. When he got a nod in turn, he gave the rock another strange look before putting it in a bag. He'd have to take it back to the lab to get a good look on the moss covering it. If it was what he thought it was, it'd help him out a little.
Grass type pokemon were a bug's friend. They cared for the soil and kept plants healthy. Grass types around his gym would definitely promote the growth of the habitat he set up. Carrying on down the path, he stopped when he reached a dead end and shrugged at the wall absently when it came up after a sudden turn, his Scolipede almost crashing into him.
With an apologizing pat, he began to lead the way back out of the mines.

Words could not describe exactly how mind-blown Addy was with his luck. Looking at the strange bracelet he had picked up, eyebrow raised, he turned it over in his hand, noticing the glimmer to it. "I'm almost convinced something bad will happen to us once we leave this area... almost" he muttered out the last bit, continuing his way towards the exit of the mines, counting on his fingers some random math that just popped into his head.
Looking to his Scolipede, he gave the bug a quiet shrug, getting a strange, bug-like shrug in return from him. "Ah, you guys are the only ones that understand me." He joked dramatically, placing a hand to his chest in a show of over done affection. Yea, no, the lack of fresh air must have been getting to his head.

Just as he was about to leave the mines and start on the trail back home, he was stopped by his Scolipede hissing and skittering away to pick out a glimmering stone from a rock, rushing back to Adrian's side, holding it out towards his master with a look of pride on his face. They had all almost walked past it, lucky for his easily distracted, gigantic centipede. "Oh hey." He took the stone and continued the way out quietly.
He personally had zero use for this. He didn't really like rock types unless they were half bug or his uncle was training it. He'd find a use for it though, somehow.
