Horizons is officially CLOSED. The board will remain accessible as an archive, but staff has moved on. If you're looking for a new Pokemon RP, try Olida Region or any number of others.
Welcome to Veria!
Pokémon Horizons is an expansive RP driven by member-planned plots and regular site events more than any singular site-wide plot, meaning there is always something to do and always room for new ideas.
From classic Pokémon staples to simple slice-of-life to grandiose encounters with Legendary Pokémon, there's a little something for everyone. We've been open since December 2015 and are always eager to welcome new friends~

Scott was prowling one of the smaller alleyways in Sinclair, heading to the office that he now called home, when he spotted a Pawniard coming the other way. There wasn't much room for him to move over, but Scott tried to squeeze to the side anyway to make just enough room for the Pawniard to inch by. Instead of squeezing through the gap, however, the Pawniard continued running by, ramming into Scott's legs in the process.
Scott shot the Pawniard a dirty look and muttered "Excuse you" under his breath as he continued on.
The sound of rapid footsteps, approaching rather than receding, made Scott turn around. The Pawniard was back, and bloodlust was in his eyes as he sprinted towards Scott, readying an attack that Scott couldn't easily identify.
Scott knew he was stronger and tougher than a fair amount of people, sure, but he wasn't sure he could take on a Pawniard all by himself.
Luckily, he didn't need to.
"Puncher, Sky Uppercut!"
The Buneary sprang into action at Scott's command, deftly punching the Pawniard before the Pokemon could reach Scott. The Pawniard was knocked out in one hit, collapsing in the middle of the alleyway.
Scott looked around for a moment, then pulled a Poke Ball out of his bag and captured the Pawniard. The Pokemon was rude, certainly, but Scott could admire his strength as well. (His knees still ached from the point of initial impact, though it was nothing he couldn't handle.) With a little training, the Pawniard that had been ready to fight Scott might well become one of his strongest Pokemon.
