“Shit, shit, shit, shit, SHIT!”

Kouji was heard to be screaming; mostly because he’d very nearly missed the signs—it had happened before, but not at this level of intensity! What the hell’s up with all the males flinging each other at the females?! He thought in a panic as he tried to separate the rather…horny male Pokémon from their female counterparts that were scattered here and there on his ranch.

It wasn’t until he’d checked the calendar did he realize what day it was, and he could only groan out of exasperation as the realization hit him like a ton of bricks.

“No wonder…” he muttered to himself, shaking his head as he then walked over to the Transporter and punched in a series of commands. It didn’t take too long for the borrowed ‘mons to come zipping into the receiving tray, and he then scooped up the armload of containment units before heading outside.

Once he’d found Rynn swimming in the lake, he then looked at the ball that held the seemingly small fish. He’d heard rumors that this was one of the nastier ones; that it could potentially call a lot of allies to its aid and hide its cowardly nature despite its diminutive size with sheer numbers. As the small Wishiwashi emerge and hit the water with a splashing noise, the Gyardos then gave it “the eye”.

“Rynn. Behave yourself, okay?!” he remarked with a pointed stare, before leaving the two alone and looking for an isolated cove where Pokémon weren’t flinging themselves at each other. Once he’d found a quiet spot, he then unballed two ‘mons he recognized on sight: a Cacnea and a Pawniard. “Well, I don’t know what they want, but… have at it, okay?” he added, feeding the Pawniard a special cookie and backing away, before leaving the second pair to their devices.

Once he’d done that, he then looked for another isolated spot where he’d sent out a Dratini, and this time the partner was a rather haughty-looking Milotic. “Oy. Don’t give me sass now,” he said with another pointed stare at the Milotic, giving it a side-eye before leaving the two alone.

“So yeah. Don’t kill each other,” he remarked before leaving the third pair alone to do their antics…

been out of it for so long. Time to get back into the game!

Kouji could only scratch his hair; why did people love throwing out last-minute requests like this all the time?!

He was a bit surprised to find out, though, that all the requests weren’t coming from neither his first boss nor from her boyfriend, but from another one of his affiliates! He could only scratch his head and wonder what had driven them to send in the request at the eleventh hour; probably they were very busy?

Sighing, he then punched in a bunch of coordinates, and waited for he borrowed ‘mons to eventually make an appearance. Once all the borrowed containment units landed in the receiving dish, he then made mental notes of who went with which, before stepping outside. The first request was easy; all he had to do was find his Abra, and bring him over to where his female Meditite was sitting, concentrating on improving itself.

“Hey, Bel, I’m leaving you with Julie-san. I know she’s busy, but try your best, okay?” he said, chuckling sheepishly before leaving the two alone. He then went out to the paddock where some of the more equine-shaped Pokémon resided, and released the obviously shiny Ponyta, before letting a Vulpix graze beside it. “Well, you two can… try not to sass each other, please? I know someone who wants babies… so… yeah, have at it,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck before looking for Raphael, his ever-trusty Smeargle.

He’d also borrowed his first boss’ Swablu, because the Flying-type had knowledge of the two moves that he wanted to pass down to one of the offspring, and once he’d located his male Smeargle, he quickly sent out the Swablu. “Hello, Sazanami… can you demonstrate your Agility first to Raphael? Try not to get too overexcited…” he trailed off, watching as the Swablu picked up speed—and the Smeargle Sketched the status-change move to memory. Once that was done, he then repeated the process, this time with Moonblast—even if it did send Raphael halfway across the field, he knew it had to be done!

Once the Moonblast had been Sketched to memory, he quickly recalled the Swablu and rescued his teetering Smeargle, before finally sending out Raphael’s partner for this session: a Vulpix that looked like the first one he’d paired off earlier; but instead of it being brown and red, why was this one blue, like the color of ice…?

“Hey, you two… please cooperate, okay?” he remarked, patting the Vulpix on its head before leaving them alone to do their magic.

While two of the breeding requests had gone down perfectly (with two eggs from each pair of parents, he was certain that his affiliate who’d requested them would be extremely pleased) the third pairing that involved his Raphael and the borrowed frosty-colored Vulpix didn’t go down too well. So it was no surprise for Kouji to go down to the storage room, and reached for a certain paper bag before eventually pulling out the contents and sighing.

“I swear, if they get too dependent on this shit, it’ll be bad,” he muttered with a sigh, examining the rubbery mushroom before taking one of the biggest pieces out, and eventually making his way to where the warring couple stood. Evidently, the female Vulpix wasn’t going to take any of this Smeargle’s shit, so he sighed before clapping his hands together.

“Hey, Raphael! What happened? I heard you crashed and burned…” he chuckled, before discreetly feeding the Smeargle the magic ‘shroom before leaving the Smeargle and the frosty Vulpix alone again, hopefully this time around would be much better…
