Niso looked at the note in his hand. Apparently a local ranch had a pokemon he wanted. A newborn with some good EMs of the Cacnea line. He always liked tough and spikey pokemon so this was up his alley.

Whoops.
Apparently, quite some time ago, Josh had commissioned for a Cacnea breed and he'd sent the payment. Well, apparently that Cacnea breed had been done, possibly even months ago, and a miscommunication meant he hadn't been notified. Of course, Josh didn't come out with an egg, but instead with a Pokeball. Because yeah. Nature.
Oh right, his Chikorita commish was here too.

 it's not that easy,存在の証明が他にないから It wasn’t his fault that she’d been skipped over; it was just that she was beaten to the chase when it came to calling on reserves for the Pokémon eggs that she wanted. Now that Kouji was slowly but surely making up for lost time, she then remembered that she had to go and pick up a Pidgey egg… which was most likely a hatched Flying-type, due to her taking so long to getting back to him all the way in Alterna! The surprising thing about this little request she’d run by him was the fact that the father of this Pidgey was her very own Sora, which was rather unusual—was her Pidgey and his baby Rufflet related, by any chance?
Either way, she then made the journey to Alterna from Caravella; which only took a couple of hours due to Sora’s speedy soaring through the skies. Little did she realize that she was going to be picking up more than one Pokémon, due to the fact that she’d very nearly forgotten about the Ralts with Shadow Sneak that she’d asked him to take care of; along with several more additions to her slowly-rebuilding roster! After she’d parked Sora outside and asked him to wait for her (as she wouldn’t be taking too long) she then made her way inside, and then rang the bell, before rummaging around the other side of the counter—and eventually pulling out a locked box that had her name scratched into the top.
Once she’d fished out the key and opened it, she then saw that there were two containment units inside—she knew she was picking up the Ralts, but to her surprise there was another containment unit beside it! “Hmm…” she pondered, before suddenly remembering the request she’d fielded his way last week—it had probably hatched by now. “Oops, sorry I took so long,” she chuckled for a few moments, before plucking both containers out of the box and locking it up once more, before returning it to its place behind the counter!

 He wasn’t expecting the sudden bustle of activity that would be besieging his Ranch—for there were late orders to be picked up; ‘mons to be returned… and even more ‘mons to be bred! Now that the lone egg from the earlier request he’d filled in had been picked up, he knew that he had to make it up to his first boss in a few weeks—but now there was another breeding request that had come in; the items had been sent to him as well, since apparently it was a rather…complicated thing.
Well, I hope this isn’t like the previous time with the Arbok… he thought, quickly grabbing the parcel, before heading out to the back and quickly sending out the two occupants. “Alright, let’s go…” he muttered, watching as the two flashes of light then shot out; one transforming into a Wartortle; the other one he wasn’t as familiar with—since he only had a Cradily, not a Kabutops. There was one glaringly obvious problem—both of them were male. “Well, no wonder they sent in the cookies… let’s go,” he remarked, chuckling as he then fed the first cookie to the Wartortle, before backing away.
“Alright, you two behave yourselves. If you don’t, I’m going to pitch you into the Lake, so try not to raise a racket, okay?” he remarked, eyeing the Kabutops’ limbs with some suspicion, before leaving them alone…

Thomas walked into the establishment of his old associate. With a smile on his face, he placed the money onto the table, before addressing the assistant. "I'm here to pick up one of the Squirtle eggs, as well as the Kabutops used in the breeding.", he told the person.
Once he had gotten the Pokeball and the egg, he nodded to the assistant. "Thank you.", he told them before heading off.

 Now that he was in possession of certain HA-capable Pokémon, he was rubbing his hands—as he could hear the cash register noises going off in the distance! Knowing that this latest venture would surely net him some serious dough (as there were several individuals on a waiting list for it) he then quickly got started, heading out to the back part of the Ranch and eventually walking down the shoreline near the man-made lake. It didn’t take him too long to eventually locate one of the three Wingull he’d caught (two of them were eventually going to the Aquasphere in the near future) before beckoning the little seagull over.
“Come on and follow me… we have some interesting business to get to,” he remarked, a bit of a grin crossing his face as he then continued looking around; watching as the Wingull was now circling around him—and zipping through the updrafts, following him as he searched the grounds. In no time at all, he’d found the Squirtle he was taking care of, before introducing the two Water-types to each other. “Now, I know this is going to sound weird, but… please cooperate with me, will you?” he said, remembering the last few Breeding requests he’d fulfilled—each ending with exasperating (initial) results, to say the least.

When Thomas had heard that Kouji had bred some Squirtle with access to their hidden ability, Rain Dish, the trainer rushed over to the ranch. Even if he already owned a Squirtle with Aura Sphere, he figured this would be a good gift for a certain someone. Passing along the money, Thomas took the egg.

 Normally he’d be backed down with the rather… large list of orders that he had from his usual clientele, but today was one of those days when Kouji was making an exception to the general way on how things were run around the place. His new assistant hadn’t arrived yet; and while he was still trying to sort out the incredibly long list that he was trying to get through (with some progress made, albeit of the very slow kind considering that he was also trying to repopulate the Aquasphere), he then decided to humor a particular order that had arrived in the Ranch’s business email a few moments ago. The only thing that got him on edge was the fact that one of the two ‘mons that was going to be involved in the breeding was a Spiritomb. And he was slightly aware of the fact that this particular Ghost-type had exactly 108 souls; all of them malevolent… or were they? He then looked at the Transporter, watching, waiting for the containment unit that held the borrowed Ghost-type arrived; and it arrived several minutes later; along with a second email asking that any extra eggs from this particular request be placed on hold. Well, I can’t fault them for getting all the other eggs. But what if I only get one? What about that situation, then? He thought idly to himself, taking the Pokéball outside, before hunting down Elizabeth. Eventually he’d found his Mismagius, lounging near one of the dying trees; and after explaining to her what exactly needed to be done, he then sent the Spiritomb out of its containment unit—only to be met with what he recognized as an Odd Keystone. “What in the name of Arceus…” he muttered, scratching his head at the sight; before shrugging his shoulders. “Well, ‘Beth, it’s completely and totally up to you. Let me know if you need anything…” he continued, before leaving the… odd couple (in more ways than one) alone for some private time.
