 Today was another slow week for Kouji… almost. He then checked the Ranch’s public email Inbox and saw that there was one request waiting for him—and that the ‘mon to be used had already been sent his way! Wondering what was going through Yumi’s mind with the crazy Feebas being tossed his way, he then juggled through a list he’d quickly drawn up on the desktop computer, before finally deciding on picking a partner for it—never mind if it was a bit on the large, if not somewhat angry, Fire-breathing side. Well, I know that Skitty and Wailord can… “get it on”, so to speak, so this has to be something I’m used to… he thought, remembering that he had a Gyarados with quite the temper.
As he then fixed his gaze at the whiteboard that had the schedules of breeding requests (and noting down something for next week as well) he then remembered that his ‘first boss’ was looking for not just a Chikorita, but a Cacnea as well! Wondering if he would get slightly luckier this time, he then returned towards the Transporter and punched in the coordinates for the other ‘mon he was going to borrow—he already had the Chikorita wandering outside somewhere anyways. Once the borrowed ‘mon had arrived, he then scooped it up as well, before heading out to the lakeside area; finding his Gyarados there, lurking in the shallows.
“Rynn, can you be patient with your partner this time around?” he began, sending out the ugliest-looking fish alive, before chuckling a few moments to see what was really going down. “Whoa, Rynn, I know, you were expecting someone a bit... sassier. But yeah, please try not to kill this Feebas, okay?” he remarked, chuckling as the Gyarados then shot him a dark stare as he’d turned around and left the two Water-types alone. It didn’t take him too long to locate Daisy, his Chikorita, before sending out the Cacnea that she was pretty much familiar with at this point in time. “Well, Daisy, Lyon’s here again. Please cooperate this time for me, okay? She’ll have my head if you don’t!” he added with another nervous chuckle, before leaving the second pair alone…

 it's not that easy,存在の証明が他にないから It was just a matter of time before Izumi would come by the Ranch again, this time carrying two Incubators. There was no way in the ten circles was she going to trust the Eggs to be sent her way via the Transporter—it was risky enough as it is. Either way, she then checked the two Incubators she had tucked underneath her arms to make sure that they were still secure, before making her way upwards and into Kouji’s place, chuckling at the layout that she’d only noticed just now.
Wow, most of, if not all of the entire place is exactly the same as last time. But I can’t blame him; if it works that way, then whatever floats his boat… she thought with a chuckle as she then made a beeline towards the counter, before pressing down on the bell a few times and waiting for him to scurry out with the two eggs that she’d be grabbing today. The entire exchange had taken less than ten minutes; she’d left the Munnies on the counter for him, and she was on her way out once again, two occupied Incubators tucked underneath each of her arms.

 Kouji had been waiting for Thomas to drop off the two that they’d talked about last week; and now that he was pretty much free for the task, he’d agreed to take it on. He also was aware of the fact that one of the resulting eggs (if there was more than one) was automatically reserved for him; but technically someone else would be claiming it. He knew better than to ask who’d be receiving the ‘mon, so he’d extracted the two containment units from the Transporter and then made his way out to the back.
He was rather familiar with the Charizard line, having worked with Enzo in the past; were most of the Charmander line he’d encountered related to Yumi’s? He was pretty sure his Char wasn’t, for one… either way, he then shelved these thoughts and sent out the first ‘mon, watching as a Charizard materialized from the red beam. “Why, hello there. Conan, right? You’ll be doing a tango with this one here, so please be careful not to burn her up,” he added, watching as the second beam of light then became an Bulbasaur, who was a bit on the dazed but amused side of things.
“Behave, okay? If you need me, just holler. I’d most probably come running your way,” he added with a chuckle, before turning around and leaving the two alone to do their magic…

 Kouji had an inkling that this was going to be coming; but how soon was it going to be? “Well, I wasn’t exactly expecting her to get this done now… but if she really wants that entire army… might as well humor her now,” he said with a chuckle, walking over to the Transporter and punching in a particular sequence. Once the clattering noise announced the borrowed ‘mon’s arrival, he then inputted a second code, and mentally crossed his fingers, hoping that she wasn’t using the one particular ‘mon she wanted bred at the moment.
Breathing a sigh of relief as a second containment unit announced its presence via the clattering noise, he then scooped the two up, and wondered if things were going to go well… or would he have to break out the mushrooms once again? Either way, he then found a sheltered cove of grass within the Ranch grounds, and promptly sent out the Skitty, which was male—much to his amusement. He was full aware that Skittys, once they evolved, were almost exclusively female, so he wasn’t sure on how this one would react if and when the time came. “Hello there… she’ll be your partner for the day,” he remarked, watching as the second beam of red light transformed into an Eevee.
“Alright, you two. Don’t kill each other… okay?” he remarked, chuckling before leaving the two alone for some private time.

 it's not that easy,存在の証明が他にないから There was a message waiting for Izumi in her phone’s Inbox, and the moment she’d read it, she’d bolted out of the plush arm chair she was seated in so fast, she barely had time to contain her excitement. “Hey, love, I’ll be going to Alterna for a while, be back later!” she hollered throughout the house they shared, before quickly slipping out to the back and calling down Sora. Moments later the two were in the skies, before zipping through the area and heading out to Alterna proper.
She was trembling with excitement, she’d actually forgotten to grab the two battered Incubators she always used to pick up eggs from Kouji’s place! She’d only realized she’d forgotten to grab said Incubators once they came in for a landing outside of Kouji’s ranch several hours later, and she smacked her palm to her forehead so hard, the sound it created echoed off the walls of the whitewashed building for the briefest of moments.
Knowing she had little time to waste, she then quickly strode inside (after asking Sora to stay put, of course) and then rang the bell, before hollering, “Hey, Whitey! I’m here for the two Eevee eggs and their mother!” before resting her elbows on the counter; waiting for the white-haired Breeder to come rushing out. The exchange took less than fifteen minutes, and Izumi then made her way back outside, arms tucked around two brand new Incubators, along with one occupied containment unit in her pockets.
The Braviary then let out a cry of surprise upon seeing the load she had, but then chuckled all the same—and the two then eventually flew back towards the home they shared out in the middle of nowhere.

 Due to getting so many things together, Kouji had forgotten to put in one of the breeding requests that had come in as a last-second request last week; and was now smacking his head against a wall. “Geez, this shit should’ve been done while I had the free time earlier,” he remarked, continuing to smack his hand against his forehead. He knew that the ad had been answered, but where in the name of Arceus was the individual? They said they’d be coming in for an interview sometime in the week; well that week had passed and he was getting swamped once again.
It was at this point he had a brainwave, and after he’d fired off a message to one of his clients inquiring if he could borrow a couple of his other companions that knew certain moves, he then punched in that particular code for Thomas’ PC and waited for the borrowed ‘mons to show up presently. The two did arrive, and he then scooped up the three containment units—first looking for Raphael in order to get this part of the show on the road. It didn’t take him too long to find his male Smeargle—as he was hanging out with Araki, his female counterpart. “Hey, you two. Ara, mind if I borrow Raph first? I got something to do. Don’t worry, he’ll be back later…” he trailed off, before slowly urging the male Smeargle to follow him.
Once they’d arrived in what appeared to be a deserted part of the Ranch, he then sent out the first borrowed ‘mon, before introducing the Smeargle to the Joltik that had appeared—and was sorely reminded of Lei, who was still with Darren back in the last place where he’d come from. After the Joltik had demonstrated Disable (and Raph was in the process of Sketching it, so that he could remember) he then recalled the Joltik and waited until his Smeargle caught his attention again; by holding the brush of its tail out, waiting for another demonstration.
“Alright, here goes…” he continued, sending out a Gastly this time, and after negotiating for the Ghost-type to demonstrate Hypnosis to the Smeargle, he then waited until the canine was finished Sketching the other move; before quickly recalling the Gastly and then finally sending out the borrowed Vulpix for the actual breeding request! “Okay, Raph. See the Vulpix? Be nice to her, and don’t do anything too crazy, okay? Holler if you need anything,” he remarked, before petting the Vulpix’s head and leaving the two alone for some alone time…

 it's not that easy,存在の証明が他にないから She wasn’t exactly expecting to return back to Kouji’s place so soon; but her return was due to the fact that she’d been informed that there was a Vulpix egg with her name on it, ready for picking up. The funny thing about this was the fact that she’d forgotten to grab one of the little Fire-types while they had visited the region, and was so hung up over missing it she’d searched high and low in order to find someone who actually had one. It didn’t take too long for her Breeder friend to work his magic, and here she was making her way back to the Ranch astride her Braviary.
This time, she’d made sure to bring back an Incubator with her—as she’d very conveniently forgotten to bring them along the last time she’d visited his place (and that was just a few days prior). She’d arrived in no time at all, and after leaving her Braviary outside she then made her way inside the building, before ringing the bell on the counter and announcing her presence. All too soon she was making her way back out, the Incubator she’d brought along now occupied with a Vulpix egg. There was another egg, but she’d decided to leave it to whoever else wanted to grab it; as she only needed just one to raise.

Kouji was surprised to get some last-minute requests from Josh—specifically for two ‘mons that he was looking for. He figured, why not entertain the notion? Even though it was pretty much the eleventh hour at this point, he knew he hadn’t done some breeding in a while and he wanted to get back into the practice and habit of it. He was well-aware that the two ‘mons were out there somewhere—all he had to do was to borrow them from their respective owners and get the deed done and over with.
After he’d walked to the Transporter and punched in the codes for the ‘mons he was going to borrow, he then took a look at the whiteboard behind him. The orders weren’t coming in as regularly, but all the same he still had a steady stream of clients. All too soon the loud, clattering noise alerted him to the presence of the borrowed containment units arriving, and he quickly cleared out the armload before heading out to the back.
It was close to sunset, and he knew he didn’t have enough time, but he’d decided to get down to it. Once he’d found a quiet patch of grassland, he then sent out the first pair—recognizing the Tropius on sight, but not the Lilligant, who was shiny in coloration. It took him a moment to realize that the Petilil that one of his sources had back then evolved over the span of time, and he was pleased. “Well, Tropicana… don’t be mean to her, okay? I know that Lilligants are prissy, but yeah, try to be careful,” he remarked, chuckling before patting the Trop near its neck, and heading out near the man-made lake.
Here he sent out the second pair, and watched as an overly-friendly Seel, and a Horsea made their appearance. “Alright, Flipper. I know you want to kiss me, but save it for later, okay? Karitt wants to say hello again,” he added with a chuckle, before leaving both pairs alone to do their thing…
