“Oh yes, well that isn’t always the case with me, but sometimes when I let my hair down it can be nice to go with the flow?” The brows of the blue eyed beauty lifting a little as the more doting moments of the night before were brought up, Sophie chuckled and brushed away any notion that she had contracted that oh so fatal sickness of love and shifted her position as well. Latching onto the arm of Shaun and gently easing her body against his, Miss Sequoia noted his enjoyment of the affection she was showing and was happy to give a little bit more.
“Well now, I’d hardly say I’m exclusive to Caravella, however having you in port might give me more reason to stop by?” Giggling as she imagined herself like a sweetheart waiting at the docks for her man to come home, Sophie shot her cuddle buddy a wry look as confirmed her desire to see this man again at some point. Not one to fall easily for another but rather the type to appreciate the involvement of a skilled and discreet partner, a woman as busy as she tended to be valued someone whom she could approach without pretence and could well imagine the two of them relaxing casually even without the sexual element of their partnership really coming into play.
“Plus, I’m pretty sure a sea living rogue recently promised me a tour of Pahala, so naturally I’d be interested in taking in the sights with him…” Winking at Shaun as she recalled a part of their conversation a night before and realizing she might have more than a few excuses to force her company upon her cheeky new friend, Sophie smiled and shifted a little to rest her head on the shoulder of the man nearby.
“And there’s always the hope that he might see fit to take me out to sea with him at some point as well? I’m not sure I’d mind having a chance to have that kind of escape once in a while?” The excitement of the evening before carrying through and providing her with a bit of buzz once she woke, the late night they had ‘suffered’ through had certainly left her with an underlying tiredness and she was quite happy to spend just a few minutes relaxing and recovering a bit more. Almost disappointed that sooner or later she would need to leave Shaun, there was a tinge of sadness locked away deep down with Miss Sequoia as she found herself just a little reluctant to part from the first friend she’d made outside of work. Sure, she wasn’t the type to fall for someone romantically, but that didn’t mean that there wasn’t an emerging sense of companionship to be missed when they parted…
