keep pushing never let them see |
The woman nodded as she listened to Aleks reminisce, a smile of her own crept onto her face as she caught his reddening cheeks yet again, tossing a glance sideways to the people nearby and the other stalls. "You must've been the sane one of the lot then? You seem pretty mellow." she noted, turning her attention back to him and Wayne.
Once she'd gotten the clearance from this loyal companion, she placed both hands on her hips and stretched her back with a slight grunt, before nodding, admiration on her face. "He's very well behaved, yeah.. And he seems to be your guard 'dog' too." she noted with a grin, before raising a brow in interest. "A Mudsdale? Now that's quite a workforce!" she shook her head, imagining Aleks riding anything else for a second, causing her to stiffle a laugh behind her fist. "Sorry, I just.. Saw you riding a ponyta or the like.. It'd the first pokemon with training 'wheels'" her shoulders shook and another muffled snort escaped her, trying to keep her laughter in check.
After a while, she commented "Maybe you should tag him, it'd be a lot easier to track him with a GPS if he's as adept at getting lost as you make him out to be." the last of her laughter left her voice, straightening herself up, her smile once again back on her face before she withdrew one of the pokeballs stuck to her belt underneath the jacket. "I'm in sorta the same area, I currently have some brute force in Shimmer and Roc." she looked affectionately at the pokéball in her hand before she left it open, to let out her enthusiastic Braviary, who let out a low screech of a yawn.
"This here would be Roc, he's a trooper." she said, affectionately rubbing the top of the bird's head and beak, to which it responded with a low series of chirps, before it noticed Aleks. And immediately it's head started to swivel as it inspected him with one eye, then the other, than both, then just the one, head constantly tilting at different angles, before it let out one singular 'caw', and pecked lightly at the ground in front of the man's feet. "I've had him since he was an egg, and.. Well, there aren't many other pokemon who can fly and, well.. You know, carry me." she shrugged with a grin.
