Marceline Labele

Standing at 5'6, Marceline has a rather slim build, something she's very proud of. Even her frame is decidedly rather slim and petite despite the maturer curves one might see if they took further notice. With long legs she tends to look a fair bit taller in pictures, and always has a sway to her movement that could be described as "sensual". With her petite yet mature body, she is known to take on a variety of more subtle appearances, able to turn from cute to mature and dominant with a simple change of clothing, or perhaps even just changing her tone and expression.




Her usual wardrobe consists of clothes that are more comfy than practical or alluring. Of course these items do exist in her wardrobe for when they're needed, but if you see her in her personal time, it isn't uncommon to catch her in something Cozy like loose PJ bottoms and a long shirt.

When she feels safe to be herself, Marceline can be surprisingly...loose. She tends to be very flippant when dealing with people, waving them off and letting them do as they like. So long as she remains comfortable and happy she dosn't really care, leading people to finding her lulling on a couch with the TV remote lost somewhere between the couch cushions, watching whatever happens to be on.

Of course this is not to say she's lazy, far from it. When the time calls she can be very ambitious and knows just how to change herself to deal with a situation. She can choose her words extremely carefully and use that ability to manipulate those around her, opening paths towards her goal no matter how long it takes, showing clear effort and diligence, while also holding the patience to ensure she achieved what she set out to do without too many slip ups along the way.

When around friends of the non-criminal variety she can be very sweet and seemingly genuine, able to gossip behind her friends back in the "girls will be girls" manner, while also holding pleasant conversations. On the other end of the spectrum, she can make her darker allies feel both important, and like trash as she so needs to. Minions can be forced to feel as though they are the lowest of the low in her presence, while she can easily lift her closer allies up high, making them feel as though they are the greatest people to ever walk this earth should she feel they deserve such an ego boosting experience.

Born in Kalos, more specifically the biking city of Cyllage, Marce was a very sweet girl in her younger years, tending to do as mommy and daddy told her and never acting out of line. Her parents too were very caring and sweet, tending to give their little princess whatever she so desired so long as she continued to behave. Everyone in the family had assumed this behaviour was just how they naturally where but in time Marce began to learn she herself may have been part of why she never had trouble with her parents.

And of course I don't mean she was just too good to ever get in trouble. No child is that pure and perfect.

As she grew older she began to notice that, no matter what she asked for, so long as it seemed reasonable, she tended to get it. At the age of 10 her parents spent hours in fields day after day to get her a ralts as her first pokemon, something she would have begged for but was granted by simply asking. Even in her later school years, teachers and students alike were un-expectedly nice to her, granting her requests, letting her off with homework, or even doing her homework for her in the case of other students. She just needed to ask. Where most would just take this as it was given, she grew curious, pushing the limits of what she could ask of people, even learning that if she chose her wording carefully, she could make people do things they otherwise wouldn't should she be blunt about it. Her curiosity only grew as she tested her unique influence over people, only truly understanding her talent when making friends with another student, an aspiring candidate for an apprenticeship with a league professor.

Confiding in her friend about her "talent", they came across the theory that she may have actually had some latent psychic ability. While there was no straight forward test the two could do to prove such a fact, both of course being students in their mid-teens, Marceline offered herself to the league's efforts, hoping they'd be able to confirm her own suspicions. Through some simple tests, it was determined she did in fact have latent psychic abilities, the most prominant being an untapped resource in the field of telekenisis. Meanwhile, seeing her rare gift for psychic suggestion, the league offered to train her in her skills, awakening her telekenetic abilities and teaching her how to turn off and re-activate her suggestive skills at will.

With her power under control, Marceline grew to learn just how much harder life would have been without her skill. She had grown so accustomed to getting what she wanted that, while she had wanted to understand her power, she certainly no longer wished to lose it. She found her vocabulary growing almost exponentially as she learned new and unique ways to trick people into fulfilling her requests, even growing somewhat devious, stealing from stores by requesting the employees who cared the least about their jobs simply give her what she wanted from the shelves.

Of course, in time, people began to catch on to her little trick, especially since it was registered with the League's Kalosian devision, and she began to get into trouble, an admittadly foreign concept to her. Still, with pokemon in her possession, she used the same excuse any teenager would to leave home, and began her "Pokemon journey", turning to a region where the league's database may not yet have included her. Namely, the Veria region.

Having spent the past 5 years in the region, Marceline has lead quite a comfortable life, using her ability to weaken the wills of those around her and live the life of relative luxury with very little effort. She's recently considered more ambitious endeavours, but knows full well it will take a fair bit more training before she is able to truly take advantage of her skills.

Her skills found at a young age, Marcie was actually trained to some extent by official members of the Kalosian Leage to hone and practice her skill, and abused it much through her teenage years.

Psychic Major : Telekinesis (2)

While her mind has the capacity to lift larger, heavier objects, Marcie has found her skill with them clumsy and unreliable. Instead, she focuses her mind on smaller objects in greater numbers, never exceeding the limit of a telekinetic's weight management, but the more objects of higher weight she manipulates, the less control she has, so she tends not to risk it. Recently her skills have began to show a higher level of refinement, able to shift the inner workings of a simple lock with her power given a minute or so, and catch herself from a fall if she drops from a height of 2 stories, but any higher will still result in some injuries as she tries to slow her decent.

After much use and further training of the skill, Marcie has grown more powerful in her suggestive capailities. Her words can be far more compelling and reach more recipients, though she does still prefer to deal with one person at a time. With some time and patience, she can pull most of a person's secrets out of them or convince them to even push hefty limits on what they will or won't do. Marcie can not reach wide crowds like some with the suggestive skill, but she can "Implant" an idea, able to whisper in someone's ear and, if they are receptive enough to the suggestion, make them believe it was their own thought without ever registering her speaking.
