Just as Michi got to a quieter area, she decided it was the perfect place to play with some of her Pokemon. Maybe Azalea would have fun prancing in the grass, too! Pulling out a couple pokeballs, she released the Deerling and Litten. Pahu mewed and jumped in Michi's arms, purring at the pets while Azalea started prancing around, delighted with the calm meadow she found herself in. This was certainly a lot of fun~.

Petting Pahu as they walked, Michi noticed what appeared to be a bug that looked like it was wearing a suit? "Awww, it's so cute~"Michi cooed, crouching to get a better view of the bug. Pahu squirmed in her arms and jumped down, stalking this bug now. It was adorable how the Litten crouched down, swishing his tail from side to side. All Michi could do was watch, waiting to see exactly what Pahu had in mind.

While the bug was distracted with a flower, Pahu pounced, eliciting a surprise squeak from the Illumise who flailed and tried to get free. A quick Bite seemed to silence it but not before it used Struggle Bug to get free. A huff was given but it seemed the bug wanted to fight now? Uhm, that was alright...wasn't it? Right, Pokemon liked to fight. "U-um... Pahu, try... Flamethrower?"Michi stated uncertainly. It... would be ok, right? Maybe?

Pahu looked back at Michi and mewed, yeah, he could do that! Crouching down again, the Litten took a deep breath and spewed out flames right at the Illumise. The poor Illumise couldn't move away in time but still managed to stand up. R-right...they could do this, but... what other moves did Pahu know? Um... maybe Heat Wave? "Heat Wave?"Michi said again, wondering why she made it sound like a question. It... it would work. And then she could help the bug. That would be ok, right?

The Litten looked back at Michi with a bit of a concerned look but nodded again. His trainer was a little odd...but he loved her just the same. The Illumise meanwhile took advantage of Pahu being distracted to use Struggle Bug again, making the Litten growl in irritation. A Heat Wave was all it took to make the Illumise faint. Pahu sat down in a huff, he had just been trying to be playful. How dare the Illumise surprise him.

Looking back at Michi, Pahu mewed again, waiting for her to throw the pokeball. Oh... right, she was supposed to do something now. Touching the pokeball to the poor bug, Michi watched as it disappeared into the ball. Hopefully it would be alright in there... It would, wouldn't it? Pahu walked over to Michi and rubbed against her, purring. That at least elicited a soft smile from the pinkette. This was how it was done, wasn't it? Michi had just caught her first pokemon by herself! So... why didn't she feel happier about it? The bug would be alright, she could treat it back home... yeah, that would work.

As they started walking again, Michi was feeling a little better about this whole battling thing. Maybe the next Pokemon would be something special! The bug had been super cute and well, so was Pahu but the Litten was adorable anyway. Either way, making new friends was always a good thing! Not far ahead, a Flareon was sunbathing, not really paying attention to the approaching trainer and her Pokemon. To Michi's surprise, one of her pokeballs opened with a POP to reveal her Popplio. "Seely? What are you doing?"Michi stuttered, not quite sure what he was doing out, "Did you want to play too?" That was the only explanation she could come up with right then.

Seely clapped his flippers in response and looked around, seeing the Flareon sunbathing not far from where he was. Huh? It looked like it was on fire! That wasn't good but he knew the perfect way to cool it off. Unleashing a Hydro Pump, the Popplio sent it at the Flareon. Both Michi and the Flareon cried out in surprise at the same time but whereas Michi was concerned, the Flareon was mad. He'd just been relaxing! What was the deal with hurting him like that!

Growling at Seely, the Flareon used Scary Face to try and make this Popplio go away. Seely just grinned at the Flareon, had he done that on purpose? Yes, yes he had. If a fight was what the Flareon wanted though, a little Scary Face wasn't going to make him afraid. Michi on the other hand was scared. Wh-what was that? Why had... What? Were they battling now? It looked like it... right? "Umm, do that move again?" Michi said, not quite sure what was going on but... this was right, wasn't it?

Seely nodded and used Hydro Pump again on the Flareon. Soaking wet, the Flareon couldn't seem to stand up anymore which shocked Michi more than anything. Going over to the Flareon, she knelt and reached a hand to pet the Flareon's wet fur. It was ok, wasn't it? "Sorry... He got excited I guess?" Michi murmured softly, glad that the Flareon still seemed to be alright. He even nuzzled into Michi's hand for more pets so... that was good. Oh, right. She should probably use one of those pokeballs. Pulling out a pokeball that had a strange pattern on it (Ultraball), Michi touched the Flareon with it and watched as it disappeared into the ball.

Looking over at Seely, she ran her fingers through her hair, not quite sure why he'd done that but... "Don't attack like that without warning, k? I don't think he was too happy..." Michi murmured, smiling a bit more when Seely looked sorry. Good, that was good, right? Yeah.

As soon as the Flareon's pokeball disappeared, Michi giggled and hugged Seely tight. They had done it! Well... Seely had done it but she'd tried to help. Sorta? Well, she was trying her best at least and that's all that mattered! Michi had been so busy celebrating that she didn't notice the little turtle nearby. A loud POP would be heard, startling both Seely and Michi in the process. "B-brier? What're-?"

The full question never left Michi's lips as she watched the Snivy Glare at the Squirtle, paralyzing the Squirtle in the process. It was only then that Michi realized that she and Seely had been watched which... was a little unnerving? But the Squirtle didn't look like it had meant any harm? "Brier... he's ok. Really." Michi tried again, hoping that she could avoid yet another battle. The Snivy only huffed and used Grassy Terrain. That was good? Maybe the Snivy was actually listening this time?

N O P E. The next thing Michi knew a swirl of leaves whipped up around them as a Leaf Storm surged up and hit the Squirtle. Michi cried out at seeing the Squirtle struggle against the paralysis and not be able to do anything. It hurt, mainly because she could feel how scared the Squirtle was moments before he fainted. "BRIER, STOP!"Michi shouted only to realize that she was too late. The Squirtle had fainted and she could only run to him, cradling the weak turtle before trying to capture him. "I'm sorry..."

Tear-filled eyes glared accusingly at the Snivy. Why. Why hadn't he listened? "He wasn't hurting anyone! You can't do that, Brier!"Michi yelled at the Snivy, still clutching the poor Squirtle's pokeball in her hand. She didn't want to see anyone hurt... not like that. "Return!" The Snivy would be returned in a beam of red light. She... she would handle that later.

Even after Brier was returned, it took Michi a good amount of time to calm down. Seely looked concerned and nudged her hand, only to be pulled into a hug. Michi didn't understand why Brier had done that, the Squirtle wasn't doing anything wrong. Seely cooed gently, trying to comfort Michi as best he could. The Popplio would have said something more but he noticed that they had a curious onlooker. Chirping a bit, he nudged Michi and motioned towards the Numel that had appeared.

Looking up, Michi blinked when she saw the Numel approach and smiled a little, letting go of Seely to see what this new Pokemon wanted. "Well hello~, did you want to play?"Michi mused softly as she extended a hand to the Numel only to have her shy away. Huh, well... it seemed she was a little timid but that was alright. Hmm, maybe Seely would be able to help. Gesturing to the Popplio, Michi smiled when Seely bounced forward and greeted the Numel. It made the Numel jump at first but eventually the Popplio's carefree and playful nature helped her to relax.

Eventually the two got to playing a little bit, Seely even created a little pool they could play in. It was pretty cute but well, hmm, maybe they could bring the Numel home? "Seely, ya up for a battle?"Michi asked, gesturing to the Numel in question. The Popplio clapped his flippers and looked at the Numel who seemed to hesitate briefly before nodding. Right, she could do this! As soon as both were ready, the Numel summoned an Earth Power, hitting Seely hard. Michi winced a little, not expecting something that so clearly hurt but... well, that water move had helped before. What was it called again? Right. "Try a Hydro Pump!" Michi called out, grinning when her Popplio summoned up the powerful move. The Numel struggled to remain standing after that but try as she might, she simply couldn't continue after that and fainted.

A pokeball would be thrown at the Numel before Michi walked over and pet Seely's head. "Good job~,"Michi encouraged, hugging the Popplio close,"Why don't we head home now, hmm?" It had been a long, tiring day after all. One thing was for sure, Michi was more than ready for a nap... or something.
