Honoka sat on the edge of the counter, swinging her legs, gazing longingly at the pair of gym badges hanging on the wall behind the counter. She still craved the days she spent as a trainer, while the majority of her days were spent here in the shop. She didn't really mind it, all things considered. She actually really liked the Breeder's life. There was lots of travel involved, and it was different than the kind of travelling she did as a trainer. She got to see places she normally wouldn't have as a trainer. It was a new kind of experience, and she loved it.
But there were times, like now, when all she wanted was to go back to her trainer days. Because times like this were slow and boring and not much was happening. There were no gatherings of Breeders, no big Pokemon trade shows, no events really worth going to because they were so small and so far away, and not many customers. So she sat, and she dozed, and she let her mind wander while she awaited a customer, if that day were to have one. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS |

Well, Honoka figured, if there we no customers, she might as well try to draw some in. Eggs sold well, once in a while, and she liked having some to showcase as well for customers. Sometimes they would just come in looking for eggs, as compared to looking for Breeding. She had a couple of Pokemon she was debating breeding, but there was one pair in particular she believed would sell well if she ended up with extra eggs. She certainly hoped for her luck to hold out.
Ninetails (M) that belonged to a client, and her own Absol (F). She would breed those two. She made the preparations, and took her time, because it was such a slow day. When things were set, she got the two Pokemon together and sent them on their way to do their thing. Soon, hopefully, she'd have some eggs to show for their efforts. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS |

When Honoka checked her mail that morning, she'd noticed a strange letter. Well, strange wasn't the right word for it. It was just unusual to get requests through letters. It was that Thomas fellow, the one she had recently made a contract with and was now teaching to dance. He had a friend who was interested in an Audino, and Thomas had offered to breed a pair of his. With the letter came a small package of two Pokeballs; presumably, the two Audinos. The letter said their names were Pulse and Bunni. Honoka grinned to herself at the thought of Thomas with two adorable Audinos. Well, everyone had their favorite Pokemon. She loved cute Pokemon, herself. The image of the stoic, serious Thomas having Audino as a favorite amused her nonetheless. She took the two pokeballs to the back, releasing the Audino pair into the breeding room. They'd do their own thing, and Honoka would check on them later on that day. She still had two mush should nothing turn up. Honoka stretched long and hard after a long day, which wasn't over yet. She'd had a breeding request earlier this afternoon for a Dratini. Both of the Pokemon breeding were hers, but she was always happy to breed a dragon combination. She set about that day's job and got busy, putting the two Pokemon into the breeding area and waited. Hopefully, soon, she'd hae an egg or two for her client. She'd gotten another order in the mail while she was out. This was beginning to become a regular thing, as she was going out more and more to work on her trainer skills again. The order had come with two Pokeballs, presumably the Pokemon to be bred. She read the request; sounded simple enough. Both Pokemon had the chance of egg moves available. Looked like this might be an expensive breed for whoever ordered it. On the order she saw two names whom she recognized; one was an affiliate and one a boy she'd met recently. Nodding, she examined the Pokeballs. There was a male Heracross in one, and a female Pinsir in the other. She put the two Pokemon in the breeding area, making sure they were comfortable, and left them to their business.  Pokedex Name: Heracross Nickname: - Gender: Male Ability: Guts Moveset: Bullet Seed, Close Combat, Aerial Ace, Rock Blast  Name: Pinsir PokeDex Number: 127 Gender: Female Type:  Ability: Inner Focus Personality: Quiet. Thomas had gotten word that the latest breeding request as a radical success. So the trainer made his way over to Sato Farms in order to pick up a Pinsir egg. The trainer already had the funds ready to pay for the egg. The trainer pulled out the forty five muns needed to pay for the egg, and waited for his friend to approach. "Hey Honoka, how have you been?", he asked her, striking up conversation with her. After a bit of talk between them, Thomas finally went to business. "I'm here to retrieve one of the eggs from the breeding between my Heracross, and another client's Pinsir. One of the Pinsir's that is."[/font], he said to her with a smile, handing her the muns for the transaction. Once it was cleared, and he had his hands on the egg, as well as getting his Heracross back, the trainer smiled again. "Thank you for this, and it was great to see you again. Maybe sometime we could hang out or something?", he asked her. (Claiming a Pinsir Egg with the Egg Moves Quick Attack and Close Combat, for 45 muns)

Calvin was still new to the whole "breeding" aspect of things, but he figured he would give it a try. Sure his Pinsir was still pretty young, but she also appeared to be high in demand. Calvin found himself standing near a fence, looking around aimlessly, unsure of whether he was in the right place or not. Finally a young looking woman approached him whom he would later recognize as Honoka.
"Oh, hi I'm Calvin Locke. Here to pick up my Pinsir...and I guess an egg?" He started to hand over the muns but realized that the cost was already taken care of. "Oh, thanks...and there's another egg? Just keep it. I don't know what I would do with it. Thank you ma'am for your services!" Calvin took his Pokemon, new egg, and departed.

Two Pokeballs would arrive through the transporter, as Thomas has requested earlier. Hours ago, he had sent the breeder a phone call about how he and Rikiya were sending their Galvantula and Joltik respectively to be bred. Unbeknownst to Thomas, she had actually met the Joltik in Rikiya's care the day she met him at the construction site. The two Pokemon Honoka had gotten in a request to breed didn't seem all that interested in breeding. When she checked in on them, she found that nothing at all had happened. She didn't want to disappoint her customers, especially with knowing them both on a more personal level. Her pride as a Breeder wouldn't let her. But she also knew that sometimes, certain Pokemon just weren't a good match. She gave them a break, away from one another and in with the other Pokemon, before giving it another go. This time, she used a Romantic Mush with them, hoping that would better the chances of them liking one another.
