A Day in SinclairKazia Maeda had a large amount of trouble getting to sleep; even though she willingly left her old life, things were... tougher than expected. She had some good omens; swarms of two cute and powerful Psychic-type Pokémon broke out at the same time she left home. But the accommodations that she was able to arrange were... lackluster compared to what she was used to. Blank walls, almost no furniture... and the mattress. How on Earth was this thing called a mattress? It felt like sleeping on a bunch of Geodude! It took literally half the night of tossing and turning, somehow or another, the Caravellian ex-noble got to sleep... for whatever kind of sleep it was. Morning crept up on the sleeping pinkette, and despite massive troubles getting to sleep, her rest was at least suitable; not quite ideal, but getting the job done. At least, until... BWEEP! BWEEP! BWEEP! BWEEP!“GAAAAH!”Eyes shot open and Kazia’s blanket ripped itself away from her while she screamed in pure and utter panic, scrambling and throw telekinetic strikes at absolutely nothing until she scrambled so much she utterly slammed her head against the back wall, suddenly letting out a cry of pain, all of her panic suddenly disappearing as she whined and held her head. The sharp pain, despite being aggravated by whatEVER that noise was, eventually dulled with the panic. When it finally did, she hissed in annoyance, rubbing her head and looking around to discover that the most hideous sound that she had ever heard of was... her clock. “What the hell?! Will you stop that?!” Kazia glared at the clock, yelling at it, and when that did nothing, she slammed her fist down on that, quickly hissing and regretting that action. She held the bottom of her hand in pain, getting only angrier with the device, and just tore it right out of the wall with her mind, hovering it in front of her before tossing it behind her, breaking it against the far wall. There was no way on this blue ball that she was ever going to go back to sleep on that thing, though, so Kazia instead opted to get out and just go on with her day. Dressed in a pair of dark purple jeans and a lighter purple hoodie, with a black shirt underneath, Kazia walked through Sinclair, leaving behind a very full cup of horrendously awful coffee at a shop that apparently used soil instead of beans. This morning was the most horrendous one that she had ever had in her life, and she didn’t want to deal with people; she was tired, she was already missing her actual bed, and not to mention a good cup of coffee. Her current ‘house’ was almost insulting, and she wanted to take her frustration out. She pulled away from the more populated areas of the third carriage, trying to find an area where that might be wild Pokémon. @goldilocks

A Day in SinclairThis area of Sinclair was absolutely disgusting. When was the maid, or whatever sort of worker took care of this sort of thing, supposed to come? The ground was covered in some sort of slime! The air was filled with the smell of trash and... Pokémon droppings. The more she looked around, the more she was utterly revolted. What was WITH this day, anyway? It was just one thing after another! She made an effort to not touch the disgusting ground, shifting things away with her mind and trying to find cleaner areas to jump to, her sneakers were still getting dirty. This was supposed to be where wild Pokémon were?! She’d take a forest over this filth! Meeting KaziaSuddenly, a voice, and Kazia jolted, whirling around in surprise, instinctively taking a fencing stance without a sword, pointed towards the source of the voice. Kazia’s glare briefly relented, a single eyebrow raising in curiosity at the sight of... admittedly kind of beautiful woman, but the scowl almost immediately returned. Almost palpable bile coated her voice, showing her very thorough annoyance with the day as she replied, “I am not lost, I am exactly where I want to be! Pokémon reside in this area, and as such, I am here to train my Pokémon, and maybe catch something if it suits my interests.” She crossed her arms, closing herself off as she scoffed. “I assumed that I would be alone, but evidently nothing is going my way today.”

Kazia scoffed at the woman’s comment. This place was all kinds of filthy, all kinds of disgusting, but Pokémon were around here, and as a trainer, that meant that she would be here. That’s what being a trainer was all about right? Finding Pokémon, whether it meant a forest, a swamp or... a hideous, smelly, disgusting slopfest of a city that served coffee made out of dirt and woke people up with the most hideous of noises, catching them, and training them to be the best of the best. She growled and grumbled, but chose not to respond to that comment, instead just waving off the blonde’s ‘worry’. “Feh, you can stay, you can go, I don’t care. Just stay out of my way and you’ll be fine.” She turned and started walking away, leaving the woman to do as she pleased, until a particularly foul smell hit her nostrils. “UGH! IS THAT A MUK’S STENCH!?” She turned her head slightly, looking down at a manhole with some purple slime, which honestly told her that it could very well have been a Muk, which only soured her mood even more. Fighting the urge to vomit she looked at the manhole cover and reached out, her arm helping her channel her mind as she grabbed the iron circle and dragged it cover the hole, ignoring any sort of difficulty just so that she could muffle that damn stench. When it finally was, she yelled at the top of her voice, kicking the cover over and over and over again, yelling expletives for almost 15 seconds before just stopping and seething for a moment, huffing and running her hand through the tuff of her hair, flipping it slightly and taking a few moments to calm it down. “I’ll take a forest, a mountain, or even the graveyard of Carrefor. At least those places have good excuses for being dirty.” Growling again, she snorted in frustration, then started stomping away, her eyes no longer looking for wild Pokémon, but targets.

Anger, annoyance, and disgust bubbled and frothed within her, but her outburst, as well as making her heel rather sore, let her calm down, regaining some semblance of control over her mood. “Yeah, I’m telekinetic, what of it?” she replied, as calmly as she would if the woman had commented on her hair. She crossed her arms, huffing in annoyance at her situation, but the woman’s other comment confused her, making the teenager raise an eyebrow before she too noticed the running dog Pokémon. “What the...?”Before she could finish her sentence, a horde of Drifloon turned their attention to them, and Kazia smirked. She knew these Pokémon, and she knew how to take care of them. Already, a Luxury Ball was floating out from inside her hoodie, releasing, in a burst of black and red light, a Kadabra. “Finally! Some Pokémon that will help me with my mood! Shadow Ball!”Kadabra spoke quietly and coolly, confirming her order before coalescing spectral energy into darkness, forming it in front of his spoon before firing it. The Shadow Ball struck one Drifloon with any mercy, hitting the Ghost-type and carrying it away so far that the Pokémon outright disappeared. Kazia laughed at this, grinning as the Pokémon faded from view. “That’s it, now-TELEPORT!”Kazia’s glee was interrupted when the other three Drifloon simultaneously turned their attention to Kadabra, all three surrounding the Psychic-type and throwing gales of wind at him. As ordered, however, he easily dodged the omnidirectional attack, teleporting from the center of the circle to the side. “Yes! Give another a Shadow Ball! Make it disappear!” Kazia mimicked her Pokémon’s movements, grinning almost sadistically as her Kadabra focused spectral energy into another orb of blackness, firing it at tremendous speed and firing it into another Drifloon, sending it flying down a hall. “Don’t allow another counterattack!” she ordered, “Psychic!” Kadabra followed his orders, waving his spoon-wielding hand in time with Kazia’s movements, charging up some energy before pointing it at one of the Drifloon. Psychic energy condensed around one of the Drifloon before imploding, knocking out the Balloon Pokémon in one hit. The last of the Ghost-types looked around and saw that all of its brethren were being knocked out, one by one, and made a run for it. Kazia glared at the Pokémon as it tried to escape, yelling after it, “You are not escaping! Telekinesis!”Kadabra threw his hand out, grabbing the Drifloon before it could go too far, making Kazia glare harden even as she grinned wider. “Good training material isn’t going to get away so easily! Shadow Ball again!”Once again, Kadabra followed his orders, taking out the very last of the Pokémon with just one hit.
