Marcie wandered along through the caves with her little light bringers by her sides and her morelull and snivy moving ahead of them for some potential training opportunities. Thankfully, some would be quick to arrive, a Hoppip and an Illumise, the two pokemon reminding her of her trip to her ranches the other day in fact.

"Snivy why don't you take the Illumise? Morelull, Hoppip."

The two pokemon confirmed their orders and rushed forward, the Morelull still a bit of a nervous fighter but glad it wasn't getting stuck with the bug this time. A quick spray of spores over the pathetic absorb attack easily put the opposing Hoppip to sleep, and following with a moonblast it was more than easy to send the opposing pokemon flying, especially with how little it weighed, sending the Hoppip crashing into the far wall of the cave they were exploring.

The Illumise was equally easy to deal with, even with a bug attack to take advantage of the snivy, the little grass type was far more capable than the morelull it was working beside. Coiling itself up it managed to jump and leap over the Illumise's attack, narrowly avoiding a spotlight that attempted to force it into an encore. While not all that effective, a leaf tornado shot across the tunnel, the cutting wind and sharp leaves pushing through the Illumise, dealing some hefty damage to the bug.

Dusting off the prescious pearl she'd managed to find so deep in the tunnels, she wondered if a pokemon had dragged it this far in from the ocean, but given the entrance they'd used wasn't far from Caravella what wasn't too hard to believe. Before long another set of pokemon showed up to prove an interesting opponent, and Marcie was especially happy that one was evolved. A cute one too, those tended to help her image and they weren't too bad to keep around either. With a light chuckle, she released a fresh pokemon for the fight ahead, an oddish taking to the field, balancing for a second from the momentum of it's launch, but quickly getting ready to fight, letting out a confident cry in the face of the opponents.

"Sorry snivy dear, you'll be taking the bug again. Find that to be reasonable?"

The Snivy gave a sharp nod and coiled itself up in preperation again, spotting the Ribombee and rushing towards it. His moves would be fairly low in effectiveness but he'd do his best to make sure they were effective. The snake like pokemon ducked and weaved around the opposing insect's attacks. The puffs of stun spore were easy enough to dodge, but the silver wind that followed easily stuck him back, the stinging wind hurting hard and the Snivy wanting to retaliate sharply, gritting his teeth and rushing in much faster after a second coil.

Leaping up over the head of the Ribombee before taking another silver wind, he used his higher state to his advantage and blasted down a leaf storm towards the ground, slamming the ribombee into the dirt and landing atop it's head. The Ribombee wasn't about to be done, struggle bugging and vibrating to try and get the Snivy off, only for a countering series of giga drains to keep the snivy alive till the Ribombee was down for good, the snivy grinning at it's opponents misfortune.

As for the oddish it was a much simpler state of affairs, letting out a toxic cloud that would send the opposing grass pokemon into a weakened state. The petilil would find it didn't have a good counter move much like the snivy, and while a giga drain was used to try and level the playing field, the toxic would soon enough begin to take over, the tiny blue and green pokemon managing to win over with a powerful giga drain of it's own, followed with a powerful moonblast that would strike the petilil and send it backwards. Thankfully for the pure grass pokemon, a rare move for it's kind, Endure, letting it survive.

Not for long however.

Another moonblast fired across and shot the chest of the petilil managed to take it out, and taking a pokeball and ultra ball from her pockets, Marcie easily had two more pokemon to add to her cute collection, though, she'd be sure to make sure they were effective in battle before she invested toooo much time in them.~
