Sachiko decided it was time to help Sayaka out. Of course, other Pokemon of hers needed help too, but her Larvitar had done amazing against those Luxio months ago. It was time to give her even more experience. She discovered quite some time ago that going to most humanized, very populated places had quite a few electric-types and even some poison-types, which she'd learned were weak against ground-type moves like Earthquake. As long as they were careful, she was confident that the tunnels would be okay. Plus, it was better than dealing with all the people she would have to be around if she actually went to Pahala City instead of underneath it.
"Here we are, Sayaka. I'm fairly positive this is right beneath the Pahala City limits," the redhead claimed, to which the little Larvitar called out her approval. "Sounds like you're ready, so let's get to training."

It wasn't long before Sayaka made a curious noise -- similar to that of 'hm?' -- and took a detour. Sachiko had paused, starting to turn around to see what had caught her Pokemon's attention. The Larvitar had only a second to form a silver ball of energy to retaliate with as the Timburr came sliding in with a Low Kick. Sachiko frowned deeply at this, returning the dual-type and releasing her Cubone.
"Use Focus Energy, then Retaliate!" Yumiko steeled herself, preparing to hit as hard as she could, but it didn't quite work out in her favor. There was no critical hit, but she did connect with a vengeful tackle, at least. The Timburr winced slightly but then smirked at her, moving swiftly to hit the ground-type in the stomach with Force Palm. Realizing that he had failed to paralyze the Pokemon, he frowned slightly and used Rock slide, whacking the wall with his wood chunk and causing rocks to fall onto Yumiko.
The Cubone brushed herself off a little and the Timburr was distraught. She didn't flinch, either! He grit his teeth as his opponent seemed to glow a slight silvery color before she rammed into him. Yumiko was equally frustrated that she wasn't landing critical hits now and hit the ground with her club before swinging it at him. After hitting him square in the head and doubly knocking him out, she cheered. Sachiko shook her head slightly at her Pokemon's antics and tossed a Pokeball at the mighty fighting-type as she made her way over toward whatever it is Sayaka was checking out.
There, she found a multi-colored orb, which she picked up with furrowed brows. Whatever it was, it seemed important enough that she pocketed it. Then she turned her attention to Yumiko, making sure she wasn't too hurt before they'd continue on their way. She even brought out a Super Potion she'd picked up along the way to keep her ready. "I guess we'll focus on you today," she murmured. Sachiko thought she might have a Revive in her bag if needed for Sayaka, but if they were going to have a repeat of this, it wasn't really worth it. Oh well...
Yumiko beamed, twirled her bone club, and started off on her way down the tunnel. Was good to be out of her Pokeball. She preferred it this way, even if she did understand how it could be easier to travel without six Pokemon who may or may not get along all walking alongside each other with their trainer. So she dealt with it, for Sachiko's sake. After all, the woman had taken her in out of the kindness of her heart.
As always when she was out, the Cubone made every attempt to keep an eye out for anything of interest: Pokemon or item. Meanwhile, Sachiko was left shaking her head as she waited for the Pokeball with the Timburr to stop shaking so she could pick it up and have it sent to her "PC", whatever that meant. She wasn't really sure how that worked, even now. Technology was still incredibly new to her and storing living things in it just seemed... extra bizarre. Once it was sent off, she walked a little faster to catch up with the emphatic ground-type.

The two of them walked in silence for almost an hour. It was both relaxing and a little unnerving, honestly. The quiet was nice, but the echo of footsteps and the occasional tap of Yumiko using her bone club to aid in walking was a little much. Eventually, they both paused in their footsteps and looked around. Something... seemed odd. In a good way -- odd in a good way, but still odd. "You feel that too, Yumiko?" The Cubone nodded and made a small sound in the affirmative before moving toward where Sachiko was looking. It was more of a dull feeling for the ground-type, but she knew her trainer was pretty sensitive to important things.
Hidden between two rocks was a peculiar crystal. She wedged her club in between and wrenched them apart, picking up the thing and bringing it back to Sachiko. The woman knelt down to take it from her Pokemon, brought it close to her face for examination, and then shrugged. "I'm sure it'll fetch some coin. Good job getting it out," she praised and gave the lonely Pokemon a rub on her skull helmet.
They continued walking, nothing special happening right up until Yumiko nearly got swept off her feet by some flying... stars? Sachiko looked over and squinted at the offending Elekid. Why did it seem like everything just had to attack them? Maybe she really did just attract that kind of character... The redhead heaved a bit of a sigh as Yumiko got back to her feet and shook off the daze.
"Use Focus Energy." It was such a great move, honestly. Sachiko wished every Pokemon had Focus Energy. "Then Bone Club." This would be easy, she figured. And she wasn't wrong. Yumiko focused herself, taking a deep breath... but still, she was agitated by the Swift attack that hit her from this pompous little... WHACK!
Down went the electric-type. Sachiko blinked a few times in surprise. "... Nice hit, Yumiko." That was it. They could... move on. The redhead shrugged and moved over to scoop up Yumiko, setting the little critter on her shoulder before they moved on. The woman considered catching the Elekid, but only briefly since... well, she figured Yumiko might actually kill him next time.

It was a while of nothing and Sachiko was about to give up. Yumiko didn't seem ready to do so, but... seriously, the redhead was just about sick of this. Then a surprise happened. A spinning Voltorb slammed into Yumiko. The trainer stopped in her tracks, brows furrowed. "What the fuck...? Are you okay, Yumiko?" The Cubone held up her club to indicate she was fine as she got up from the ground and turned toward this offensive creature. It hadn't really hurt, but seriously?
Just as she went to swing her club at him, the creature used Magnet Rise, floating up and away from the attack. Yumiko and Sachiko were equally shocked by this course of events. "Focus Energy and Double-Edge, then..." The Cubone nodded, gathering herself before launching at the electric-type. It was a good hit, too... and the Voltorb decided it was better to go out on his own terms. Both human and Pokemon lifted their arms to shield themselves from the Self-Destruct. Some rubble was still settling as Sachiko yelled for her Cubone. "YUMIKO!"
"CU!"
A sigh of relief came from the redhead as she moved toward the sound. "Are you all right?" The ground-type made a noise in the affirmative, but she was indeed injured. "You did good. Let's get you back in your Pokeball, though." Yumiko wasn't particularly excited about going back in there, but she knew the human was only trying to protect her, so she didn't argue. Once the dust had settled and Sachiko had regained her composure, she noticed a soft glow in some of the stones that had fallen from the tunnel wall. After walking over, she pushed aside some smaller pieces to uncover another crystal, similar to the one Yumiko had uncovered but still quite different. "Huh... I guess it's a pretty good trophy," she remarked to no one in particular. Time to move on... Despite this dangerous situation she'd been put in, she continued deeper into the tunnels, although she did try to stay in the area beneath Pahala.

As she walked along, alone, Sachiko had an odd feeling. She was usually quick to trust her instincts and probably would've tried to figure out what was making her feel so awkward, but she just didn't have the energy to deal with it. Not only that, but she did take a look around once just to see what she could find. Nothing. It did seem oddly... brighter to her, though.
Then she was tackled and she grunted, flailing in an attempt to get back up. When the Pokemon that had pinned her let out a little screech, she focused her attention on releasing a Pokemon. Another relatively new addition: a Geodude of the Alolan variety. The Noivern was distracted enough that the electric-type was able to launch her attack first. Her Stone Edge managed to knock the wild Pokemon off her trainer, who scrambled to her feet.
The screech of pain that came from the dragon caused a pang of guilt in both Pokemon and trainer alike, but it dulled as the creature healed himself and then retaliated. He pulled his wings in against himself, glowing as he used Roost to heal himself before stretching his wings and starting to flap, kicking up the wind as he prepared for an attack. Sachiko grit her teeth, lifting an arm to guard her eyes against the dust. "U-use Charge! Then Thunder Punch! And try to finish this with Stone Edge before it unleashes that!"
The Geodude succeeded. Charging up some extra power, she focused it into her fist and swung the sparking appendage at the Noivern, doing a bit more damage than it would have otherwise. The real life-saver was the glowing stone that erupted after the ground-type's other fist hit the ground. It hit the dragon in the face... hard. He fell back hard, wings falling still. After a moment in which both Sachiko and her Pokemon relaxed a bit, the Noivern twitched into life, adjusting to look pitifully over at trainer and Geodude. He let out a cry of betrayal, which Sachiko cringed guiltily at. Sighing softly as the poor creature fell into a heap, she pulled forth one of the more expensive capture balls she had obtained. The yellow and black contrasted sharply to the red she was able to come into possession of much easier. The woman looked at it a moment before walking over and tapping the dragon's head with the ball, letting it absorb him directly into her soon-flattened palm. It shook back and forth a few times and she watched it carefully as it did.
Meanwhile, her Geodude observed for only a few seconds before her attention turned to something moving in the corner of her eye. Between the wind and the slight shaking that her own Stone Edge attacks had caused, something had come loose. The electric-type moved toward it slowly, examining the orb carefully before picking it up to closer examine it. Before long, Sachiko would call to the Pokemon, causing the boulder-like creature to close her fingers carefully around the interesting object and follow after her trainer. The nearly-blind woman didn't really even notice. "I think I've had just about enough excitement for today. Let's start heading out of here, neh?" The Geodude made a noise of affirmation and the two started off.

They had a quiet walk out. This was mostly thanks to the fact they had left a bit of a trail on their way in. Just as they were about to exit the tunnels, however, disaster struck. Well, two ghosts did, anyway. The Phantump was more aggressive, using Confuse Ray on the Geodude, then using Growth to prepare himself and finally vanishing only to reappear a second later and use Feint Attack. The Chandelure just demurely spit a cloud of Smog that went toward her hapless opponent.
Both trainer and Pokemon were quick to react. Sachiko released another Pokemon to help out her electric type: a Scraggy. Then she called out, "Use Stone Edge on the bigger one, Geodude. Scraggy, use Swagger on that one as well but hit the smaller one with Crunch." Her Pokemon launched into action. A rocky fist hit the ground, launching a pillar of stone into the Chandelure's face. Scraggy put himself right in front of the poor fire-type's face and wagged his tail, even pulling down the shed skin to "moon" her and make her confused. The Phantump seemed perturbed too but didn't get a chance to worry about it before he was chomped on by Scraggy, causing the poor ghost-type to faint.
The Chandelure was not pleased by this and unleashed a Flame Burst aimed at Scraggy. Whether it was due to the confusion or simply a result of her despair at the Phantump's fainting, she did not manage to execute another move. Instead, Geodude was able to move in quickly for a Thunder Punch, finishing the battle much to Sachiko's relief. "Sheesh, let's get out of here." She returned her Pokemon, briefly considered catching the fallen Pokemon before giving up on the idea. The redhead wandered off, but hearing the clink of something falling to the ground caused her brows to furrow. She knelt down to pick it up and, seeing the little multi-colored orb, frowned. After a moment, she muttered, "That little shit." Putting away the sphere, she shook her head and headed home gratefully.
Overview: Phantump used Confuse Ray Phantump used Growth Phantump used Feint Attack 18% damage (82% Geodude) Chandelure used Smog 18% damage (64% Geodude) Geodude was poisoned!
