LaCruex stared at the forms he had spread over his makeshift table. Scratching his head curiously, he looked over the seemingly endless paperwork that was sent to his mailbox. Which was NOT obviously a PokeBulkco coffee can that he managed to weld to a bunch of rusted rods he found in a junkyard with the help of Noir Jack, clearly.
Speaking of Noir Jack, he looked over and smiled at his two Pokemon sleeping in their shared Pokebed. That he actually bought with money from an actual Pokemon goods store. A strange experience, but they deserved it. The tiny Fletching was curled around a tiny pixie. Such a strange pair. A Fletching with grey markings and a Flabebe with a tattered plastic flower. He would get her a new one, but she refused to let it go. It matched well enough to a real Flabebe flower, so he didn't worry himself about it too greatly.
Not when he had important things to worry about. Like this stack of paperwork, which he knew he had to look over and double check, just in case. His smile turned into a grimace as he looked at the stack. He thought the paperwork at his old job was ridiculous. But this. This is just insane. And they expect ten-year-olds to understand everything they are agreeing to? No wonder they have all those safety guidelines installed in the equipment assigned. He eyed the "Starter kit" suspiciously, also arrived in the mail.
Shaking his head, he was going to do this right. As easy as going to his old habits would be, he was not about that life anymore. He was going to be a LEGITIMATE Pokemon trainer this time around. And he was going to do it the right way. Which meant reading all this paperwork and following not just the rules, but the SPIRIT of the rules. Something he can do, even without the help of his "nanny" Kaza, who was watching closely with ancient eyes. The Alakazam was keeping an eye on the darling Skitty that came with the cabin, who was resting after chasing her tail for hours.
From what he can gather, it shouldn't be TOO complicated. Just submit any captures to the Trainer's Association(or whatever they are called) and if any of his Pokemon evolve, he only needs to report that for their data banks. He smirked as he read the section on "Item Management". It seems that any "items of interest" he "happens" upon he only needs to file a form saying where he got it. Nothing too complicated, not for him anyway. Drinking his fifth cup of coffee, he leaned back and continued with his paperwork.
