Roxanne looked at her latest obtained Pokemon. She had been so busy she didn't even notice how many she had to train. This should help with her back log. It was a long list and she felt immense guilt at neglecting them for so long. She knows a training session won't make up for ignoring them or thoughtlessly forgetting them for so long. But is a start and that is what counts. Straightening her bag, her eyes were shining bright with motivation to make amends. Looking around, she spotted something peculiar nearby. A perfect chance to get her Pokemon all battle ready. She headed toward the strange sounds, eager to see what it could be.

Roxanne looked at the bird and the shrew that had approached. Roxanne tilted her head in confusion at the duo. Sure, both were ice type, but what were they doing out here? She crinkled her nose in thought as the two Pokemon sort of glared at her. She put her hand in her pocket, biting her lip as she thought about this. Who would be best against these two Pokemon? Sandslash was clearly an evolved Pokemon and that Delibird looked especially mean. Maybe she should fight ice with ice? No way was she going to send out only one Pokemon.
She dug around her large bag and eventually found the two Pokemon she was looking for. She sent out a seal with a mustache and a green alien with a skirt. The alien pirouetted as he was released as the seal waggled his mustache at the shrew and red and white bird. The two turned to look at her and they could tell by the look in her eyes what the plan was.The Santa bird tossed a shining rainbow stone at the Kirlia and the Sealeo was struck instead. He roared in anger and charged forward, Sandiego following close behind.
Pirouetting gracefully, Sandiego leaped into the air and flung magical leaves at the Sandslash as Youthquake body slammed the Delibird. The Delibird went careening away as the Sandslash tried to cover her face with her claws. The two combatants were spread from each other, exactly how Roxanne wanted it. Now she can focus on each individual Pokemon and use two different strategies instead of trying to come up with a singular strategy to defeat them both. This being Sandiego's first real battle, she didn't want to put too much pressure on him. But she didn't want to baby him either.
Youthquake kept his eyes on the red and white bird as she picked herself up. She pulled a well-wrapped present from her bulbous tail and tossed it at Youthquake. He ducked, expecting the bird to throw more things at him. The box went flying and bounced off a nearby tree and exploded. Roxanne ordered another body slam and Youthquake slammed into the bird once more. The bird squawked and drilled her pointed beck into his soft side. With another angry growl, he body slammed her once more into the same tree. This time, she was done and waddled off fast.
The Delibird dealt with, Roxanne focused back on the Kirlia. Sandiego has been teleporting away from the Sandslash's attempts to swipe this entire time that Youthquake was battling the Delibird. Able to actually focus, Roxanne ordered another round of magical leaves, which Sandiego gladly delivered on. The Sandslash hissed as the leaves struck her. She tried one last Gyro Ball and it didn't do as much damage as she clearly was hoping it would. Without hesitation, Sandiego tossed a final barrage of Magical leaves to finish off the ground type. With a notable limp, the Sandslash vacated the area in the same direction of the Delibird.
Battle breakdown Sandiego used Magical Leaves on Sandslash. Youthquake bodyslammed Delibird, separating the duo. Delibird used present and missed. Youthquake body slammed Delibird(again) and Delibird used Drill Peck. Final Body slam sent the Delibird away. Focus on Sandslash. Sandslash tried using Fury Swipes on Sandiego. Sandiego used Teleport and followed with more Magical Leaves. Sandslash used Gyro Ball and Sandiego barraged Sandslash with a final burst of Magical Leaves.
2 points for Youthquake(Evolved form defeat) 2 points for Sandiego (Delibird +500 words)

A small black dog appeared and howled at her. Roxanne recognized it as a Poochyena and blinked in surprise. Only one? They tend to come in packs and large ones. She approached the puppy and it snapped at her. She kneeled down on her knees and held out a hand to the pup. Who sniffed it before backing up, eyes leery.
"Hey there. Where's your pack?"
The puppy twitched his ears, not believing his ears. A human, that can talk to Pokemon? He shook his head and huffed at her. He looked away, clearly not wanting to talk but not having much choice. People tend to want to battle and he wasn't too good at those. Not a lot of experience battling, but he sure could bite super hard. He laid down, sighing as he laid his face on his crossed paws.
"I was left behind. Because I was too little. I could keep up, I swear. I was just. The runt of the pack."
Roxanne's brow furrowed in concern for the abandoned pup. He was clearly kind of small. But that didn't mean he deserved to be abandoned. Roxanne had a thought and smiled soothingly at the pup. He looked lonely and in need of a pack. And the Poochyena didn't seem all that interested in battle her now. She held out a Pokeball and offered it to him.
"That bite of yours was impressive. Your pack may not appreciate you, but I bet you could be a great part of my team. What do you say?"

The Poochyena safely in a Pokeball, Roxanne was about to leave the area when a strange crackling noise greeted her. She picked herself up slowly and looked. A small green beast appeared, looking much like a dog with electricity coursing from her fur. Honestly, Roxanne was not in the mood for such shenanigans, especially with the weird rabbit that was attracted by the light show from the Elektrike. With that in mind, she sent out a Pokemon she knew would make fast work of the Elektrike and the Bunnelby of course. It was a Pokemon she was still adjusting to however.
Out came a slightly cream tinted ape, who immediately flailed her arms in excitement. It was odd, having a Pokemon enamored so greatly with her "aura" but it wasn't causing any harm so Roxanne made the wise decision to not think about it. She pointed out the Elektrike that was sending off sparks and with a devilish grin, Ethera made her move. The Elektrike was so busy threatening Roxanne she didn't even see the shiny Vigoroth coming. The dog like beast made a loud yipping noise as she was struck with a single hard Focus Punch. Sent flying into the tree, Roxanne tossed a Pokeball at it and then focused on the Bunnelby that had not fled.
If anything, the bunny was standing his ground, kicking dirt around and slapping the ground. Ethera rushed at the bunny and with Roxanne's commands, used a fast Covet and managed to send the stubborn hare floundering in the dirt. Ethera made a confused noise and showed the pink egg now in her hands to Roxx. The bunny dashed forward, slapping mud onto the Vigoroth in an attempt to reclaim the egg. But it was to no avail as Ethera simply punched the rabbit in the face and knocked him out cold.
Roxanne tossed a Pokeball at the defeated Bunnelby as well, not sure WHAT to make of the situation. Especially the part where the Vigoroth presented the pale pink egg to her like some kind of trophy. Maybe she should have an expert investigate it later?
Battle Breakdown Ethera(Vigoroth) used Focus Punch on Electrike. Then used Covet on Bunnelby. Bunnelby used Mud Slap. Vigoroth used Covet again.

Roxanne looked at the horned quintet that just appeared with a concerned frown. She sent back the feisty ape and sent out a pair of contrasting snails. They both had the same cry, being the same Pokemon just of two different coasts. Shella and Toise were eager to battle the three Rhyhorns lead by(presumably) two Rhydons and Roxanne was more than happy to give them that chance. With sharp and sure commands, Roxanne ordered Toise to bomb the group with mud. With a loud wet sound, Toise splashed mud all over the entire group, blinding them.
The group ran into one another, unable to see where the shellfish even were now. Wanting to end this quickly, Roxanne ordered a pulse of water from Shella. More demure than her east coast counterpart, she did as she was told. Pulses of water knocked the Rhyhorns off their feet and back into the mud that was tossed at them not even a moment ago. The water cleared their eyes enough so they could make a swift retreat, having misjudged the soft looking trainer. Leaving behind two Rhydon, still stuck in the mud. The abandoned duo looked at her pathetically, and she sighed as she tossed two great balls at them before turning to her darling water snails. She patted both the shellfish on their heads, praising them for their hard word upon defeating the gang that was trying so hard to make some trouble.
Battle Breakdown Rhyhorns appeared. Toise(east coast Shellos) used Mud Bomb. Shella(west coast Shellos) used Water Pulse. Rhyhorns fled leaving two Rhydons in the mud.

She looked at the horde of Zangooses. They must have been attracted by the sounds of the horned horde. Or maybe the fleeing Rhyhorns dragged them out of their hiding places and they happened to end up here. Counting them, she counted six of them. Six zangooses, all of them angry looking and ready to fight. From behind them, she could see a trio of Sevipers slithering on the rocky wall. She sent out three Pokemon. A purple Rat, a black dog and a white pony that was aflame. Strategy in place, she nodded and got to work.
The three strongest were met with a fiery blast from the Ponyta. Blasted in fire, the six next to them abandoned them quickly. Well, more of split up in the confusion in their desperate attempts to flee the flames. Embers were added to the flames, further scorching the three and adding to the panic. The three were smart and knew when they were beat and fled the moment the flames died down.
The next three came up, full of righteous fury at being made a fool of. They approached the small purple rat and the rat got a toothy grin on his face. The three surrounded the rat and with a cheeky chirp, Roxanne ordered a barrage of Super Fangs. Loud chomping could be heard from the trio surrounding the rat. They screeched in pain but didn't budge. Stubborn Pokemon. Roxanne commanded a Double Edge and with a loud "RATATATAAAA" the three were beat and sent scurrying.
Leaving the snakes on the wall left. The trickiest part of this was the snakes. Luckily, Howls was a tricky puppy. Probably why he was abandoned by his pack, if she was to guess. Beaming from ear to ear, Roxanne ordered him to Howl and then Yawn. The Sevipers slithered off the wall, pausing as the yawn made them blink. They started to sway, already made sleepy by the yawn's effects.
The three swaying, Roxanne ordered Howls to Crunch on each of the snakes. The first one didn't see what was happening, mid yawn itself. It toppled into one of it's cohorts and smacked it's head against a nearby rock. It looked to be knocked out, not even snoring, just defeated twirls for it's eyes.
The other two sluggishly attempted to approach the Poochyena, but two snoozy snakes were no match for a quick footed Poochyena. They appeared to be falling asleep and fast. He crunched another one, flinging it onto the already defeated Seviper. The last was fully asleep, a snaky puddle now. WIth that, Poochyena crunched the sleeping Seviper. It writhed in it's sleep but didn't attack. One more crunch and the Seviper was flung onto the defeated pile.
She gathered the three in a group hug and cheered wildly with them. That went perfectly as planned and she was so proud of them. All that training finally paid off. She patted each on their heads before sending them back into their individual Pokeballs.
Battle Breakdown Bejing(Ponyta) used Fire Blast on Zangooses. Ember was added to flames. 3 Zangoose fled.
Thrasher(Rattata) used Super Fang on other trio of Zangooses. Zangooses swarmed him. Thrasher used Double Edge. 3 Zangoose were knocked out.
Howls(Poochyena) used Howl then Yawn. Sevipers slithered towards him. Howls used Crunch. Seviper attempted to attack, managed to knock self out on rock. Second Seviper was crunched then flung onto defeated Seviper. Third Seviper fell asleep. Howls crunched times two and flung third Seviper onto pile.

Roxanne looked around and groaned as another Pokemon appeared, wanting to fight. All her Pokemon were worn out after that horde. Her options were limited so she sent out the only one she knew was still able to fight. The flaming pony neighed in confused. Roxanne pointed at the agitated elephant/boar and ordered Fire Blast. Understanding the situation(hopefully) the pony blasted the boar into a rocky formation. The boar bellowed and shook the debris caused by it's sudden slam into the wall off. While distracted with that, Roxanne ordered an Ember to add more flames to the situation.
The Donphan bellowed again and attempted to charge at the pony. But Bejing was far faster then the unruly boar and dodged the furious attack. Dodging swiftly, Bejing blasted more fire at the boar upon Roxanne's command and the boar was defeated. In the heat of the battle, an Ultra Ball rolled from Roxanne's bag and managed to tap the defeated beast, locking it within.
Battle Summary: Bejing(Ponyta) used Fire Blast then used Ember. Donphan used Fury Attack(missed). Bejing used Fire Blast again.
