 WORDS: 194 TAGS NOTES ❀ | She was still in Faraday, not having left. She'd already found one shiny item, so why not find another? Plus, it was still a nice day, and she really didn't want to go back inside yet. And her Pokemon were still playing. The farm hands kept her ranch so tidy that there weren't piles of leaves for the Pokemon to play in, so this was something of a treat to them right now. Her Audino didn't seem to have found anything else, so Honoka just stood there, taking in the sun and watching the horde of her Pokemon playing.
She almost wished for a moment that she had someone special to share that moment with. But the last time she did, she barely saw them, even though they had spent time living together. Her Pokemon would do for now; they made her plenty happy with their antics and general company. And they seemed to notice her mood, as another one brought her over something else to look at. She smiled and took a look at the item it was holding, curious what they were finding out here. |

WORDS: 143 TAGS NOTES ❀ | First her Piplup came waddling up to her adorably. In its arms was a crystal that she'd seen before, but still had no idea what it did. They kind of reminded her of mega stones, but they weren't that. She'd tried. But they had to do something similar, with how they resembled them. It was an interesting color, a strangely pretty brown that reminded her of an Eevee's fur. Her Piplup seemed so eager that it made her laugh. It held out the crystal, waving it front of Honoka's face, making her laugh more. She took it gladly, ruffling the little guy's feathers in delight. The Piplup scuttled off again to go play with the others, squirting her Totodile from behind. She laughed again at their antics, and continued walking along behind her cluster of Pokemon. |

WORDS: 259 TAGS NOTES ❀ | She watched the Piplup have a water fight with her Totodile for a little while, grinning after them. They were obviously enjoying their time out. And now Honoka had two little treasures sitting in the pocket of her sweater, one of which she was going to get appraised when she got back,
the other would go with her collection of mega stones and other little gems. Some day she would figure out what these crystals were, just maybe not tomorrow.
Honoka decided, finally, they ought to stop for lunch. She'd brought a warm picnic blanket made of heavy wool and had her Lucario and Infernape carrying large baskets of food. She found a spot and got them to help her lay the blanket down, getting set up for lunch. The rest of the Pokemon noticed one by one and joined them for food. It was still hot somehow, likely thanks to Honoka's expert wrapping of things and the thermoses of hot drinks that had been sitting in the basket. The other basket had the cold foods, such as sandwiches and pokepuffs and the like, and they had stayed nice and cool thanks to the weather. Honoka was just breaking into a sandwich of her own, hot chocolate in hand, when something fell in her lap. She looked up to see her Totodile grinning at her, having dropped a mega stone in her lap. She smiled her thanks and gave the little Pokemon what it wanted: one of the sandwiches Honoka was eating. |

WORDS TAGS NOTES ❀ | Honoka was relaxing on the blanket she'd laid out, lunch having been finished. Surprisingly, there were still leftovers, so she was snacking happily on finger sandwiches and apple slices, curled up into the white fur of her different breed of Ninetails. Though it was an ice type, the Pokemon itself was quite warm to the touch, making it very cozy for a chilly afternoon. Her other Pokemon had gone back to frolicking, getting into who knows what kind of trouble while they were at it.
She was dozing off slightly in the fur of her Ninetail's side when her Audino came up and dropped something in her lap again. It ran off, and Honoka groggily sat up and examined the item her Audino had given her. It was another one of those crystals, this one was a pretty turquoise. Another keeper, she thought, placing it in her bag. They'd go home soon. For now, this was nice. |
