Steven Damian Grayson was nothing if not in desperate need of cash: The kid had only just started his journey and was already lacking in basically everything. He had no supplies, barely any Pokemon and could barely afford food for himself and the few he had. The boy could ask his parents he knew but.... he didn't want to ask them. They needed their money though: They needed to support themselves and the farm so he couldn't ask them.
Treasure was apparently a thing you could find and these ruins were felt like as good a place as any: For several long moments Steven walked, listening to his own footsteps as his feet hit the ruins' ground as he looked at the same time for treasure.

The boy's dark onlyx eyes scanned the area as he kept silent, searching for a Piece of treasure of some sort. His eye caught the sparkle of the item on the ground an ad for a moment he only stared before walking towards it. The twelve year old knelt down to get a better look at the thing, pulling the blue spherical item from it's spot on the ground. It was... something to do with Kanto Starters: A Charizard if he remembered correctly but he couldn't entirely say he was completely sure of even that.
The item fell into the boy's pocket and Steven stood back up, beginning to look around for more items.

IT seemed to Steven that the least he could do was find something interesting and apparently, the universe just so happened to agree with that assessment. The little boy pulled the Moon Stone from it's resting place on the ground, palming it for a few moments as he stared at it. These could evolve.... Clefairies, umm shit what else could they evolve with these things? He didn't remember anymore; he'd never had to use evolution items before nor has he ever thought he would but now? Now the boy was going to gather more Pokemon and evolutionary items would come in handy. The kid rose to his feet, pocketing the item in his jacket and beginning to look for more things.

Icium-Z Was the choice of the day, the treasure was something Steven at least knew a tiny bit about and with Sapphire around, well it would come in handy. The little pre-teen pulled a hand through his messy curls, gaze drifting toward the hole with the other items in it as he had made his choice: No going back now... no point in even wanting too. The little boy stood up, placing the item back into his jacket pocket and listening to it clunk against the others he'd grabbed. A sigh escaped Steven's lips as he began looking around, hoping to find at least one more thing before he continued on to go do other stuff.

The next and final item the boy would find apparently was... a thunder stone? Hmm, interesting. It seemed the little boy had managed to discord something of use, well not to him at the exact moment but to others, or even himself later on. The teen pulled the stone from where he'd found it and stared at it for several long moments, not moving from where he currently sat on the ground. It took several long moments before the boy stood back up, shoving the stone back into his pocket and started to make his way back out of the tunnels. Might as well go back to the hotel and take inventory right?
