Airis had been visiting Faraday when she heard about the ruins and potential of treasures, and honestly was really looking forward to it. This type of area was a lot like in one of her childhood books, maybe she would find something mythical! Well probably not, but she could get something to help her with her pokemon and new lot in life so to speak.
However now that she looked over the place she couldn't help but frown and release Skysong from her pokeball. "Sorry Skysong but um... could you make sure I don't break my neck or anything?" The woman had long come to terms with her clumsy side and the Gardevoir was rather helpful... when nobody else was around, to keep her balance. Skysong however just gave a sigh after she glanced around and held onto one of Airis' arms... you know just incase.

Airis perked up as she spotted something shiny within the dirt itself, pointing towards it with a smile. "Look Skysong, what do you think that is?" Skysong however glanced around, making sure there wasn't anything that could maim her human... or maim via clumsy moment, before letting Airis walk towards it.
Carefully she scooped away the dirt until the stone set glimmering in the light, giving a little smile before pulling the ice stone out. "Hrm... it feels cool to the touch, is it a water or ice stone? Or something different.... Well either way it should be useful to me. Lets continue, maybe we can find more stuff to take back and identify."

Airis kept hiking through the area, Skysong stopping her from climbing too much on anything that floated too high. Not about to let her human put herself in more danger, what if they ran into a fully evolved violent pokemon.... Actually knowing her human she would probably try to befriend and help the thing rather then run the other way. If a Gardevoir could sweatdrop she would, keeping close to her human and holding on.
Airis glanced over and gave a little smile and patted Skysong "It is alright, I won't go all the way up there... at least not until I get a flying pokemon to save me." With that Gardevoir relaxed a bit but she was still vigilant. Half an hour passed by while walking around, trying to dig out anything that looked like it was treasure... but it was mostly just rocks or other things that were really nothing. Finally one of the dug up ones looked like a moon stone. "Ooooo this one might be useful in the future, right Skysong?"

So far so good, she got two neat stones that she could have a use for. Airis was all smiles as she turned to look at Skysong. "What do you think? Should we go treasure hunting more often?" Skysong however just gave a look causing Airis to just start giggling. "Alright alright I'll bring one or more of the others to keep an eye on me to let you have a break."
Well it was getting a tad late so she started going the long way around to head on back, maybe she could find a few more items. On the way she found a crystal poking up out of the dirt, it reminded her of something... Well whatever it was it might be at least worth some money so she tossed it into her bag to continue looking.

This time it wasn't Airis who spotted something but Skysong, seeing something that didn't quite fit. Hopefully it was something her trainer would want so they could get out of there before something happened. Gently tugging on Airis and pointing towards the color hidden mostly in the dirt.
Airis went over and started to dig it up before a big smile on her hands. It looked like gold, it was a rather large nugget and needed her to hold it with both hands. Carefully putting it in her bag before turning to see Skysong hovering. "Alright alright let's go home... I doubt I could walk properly with such a heavy thing in my bag anyways."
