Rodrigez dove between two of the taller buildings before coming to a scrappy landing on one of the islands, Yumi being sure to give him a nice scratch behind the mane for being such a good boy after having not been out for so long. Of course she had no doubt he'd behave, but it was still nice to give him a reward.~ Sliding off his back with Ko-ken not far behind, the two started to explore the old ruins of the market district. Most of the buildings had been cleaned out of anything that wasn't gonna just decay over such time, but they were bound to find some goodie or other over time.

"You doing okay? Not stiff after sitting on your butt with me for so long?~" Flashing the fighting pokemon a cheeky smirk it just rolled it's eyes, having been training with Tequill the entire time they'd been away from the action he was in fit fighting shape and ready to get back into it. Speaking of which, it seemed two little monkeys were scrambling about for a fight, the fighting pokemon scanning them as they ran along the railing of the second floor of the super market they'd pushed into, Ko-ken's eyes narrowing as they taunted him from their little vantage point, calling attention to them as Yumi moved towards an old store that still had a few flickering lights.

"Ah go on, if they're asking for it their asking for it ain't they?~"

With a nod to confirm the Sawk gave a light smirk, jumping up the escalator and to the level of the monkeys, gesturing for them to come and give him a go. The fire monkey was the first to rush in, shooting a flame burst at the Sawk's feet to try and catch it with the explosion. With a use of superpower, Ko-ken deflected the attack entirely by ripping up a chunk of the floor to let the flames flicker against harmlessly, kicking the chunk towards the Pansear and taking it out swiftly enough, the Panpour coming in to avenge it's friend. Sadly, it didn't seem to learn it's friend's lesson as it took on the much stronger opponent, trying to rush in for some fury swipes, only to have a swift, HARSH blow to the gut with close combat take it out of commission, the Sawk a little dissapointed the fight was over so quickly, but grabbing the unconscious pokemon, began to drag them back down the stairs to Yumi.

Claiming tyranitarite

Searching through an old clothing store that hadn't been too badly ransacked, Yumi found a new trench coat and slipped it over her shoulders without much thought, biting off the tag about the neck rather casually before moving into the back of the store. All the clothes were a bit dusty, but none of them were used, so all the bras were probably in good condition and she needed a good new set if she was gonna start being active again. She stopped however as Sawk called out to her, smirking over to the fighting Pokemon as he offered the two monkeys for capture.

"Heh, glad to be back on your feet I take it?" Yumi captured both Pokemon as Sawk Nodded, the two heading deeper into the store. Ruffling between the clothes, two Pokemon poked out their noses, the shy Teddiursa and Swabloon looking between eachother briefly, wondering if they should make an effort to attack the human that was pushing its way through their home...but their answer was made for them when Ko-ken leaned down and glared at the two of them, forcing them both to jolt to action, the Teddiursa taken out before it could even really be given a chance to fight, a sharp, strong kick sending it flying off towards a pile of old clothes before Ko-ken turned his eyes to the Swadloon, slamming down an arm beside it as it narrowly seemed to dodge his attack.

Rather than run away however...it foolishly slapped the side of the fighter with a razor leaf attack...earning a sharp glare from the fighting type.

Suffice to say, another few seconds, and Yumi was sighing softly as she had to root around for a great ball.

"Ko-ken I know your excited to fight again but seriously, go easy on the little ones?"
