There to greet them at the font of the building, a Sawk stood with his arms folded. Dasha's eyebrow quirked, but as he shifted into a fighting stance on seeing her and the Salandit approach, she understood well enough. "Alright, get ready," she stated to the squishy fire Pokemon. The creature hissed, her tail thrashing in response. The Sawk nodded as well, ready for anything that came his way.

"Start off with Toxic then sue Venoshock." Summoning up a toxic substance from her maw, the Salandit threw it hard and fast at the Sawk. The latter used Bide to steel himself for now, ready to attack in a few more turns. A small 'tch' sound reverberated from Dasha, but that was not enough to stop her Salandit from following through with the second order. Throwing out a poison dart, she succeeded in shocking him painfully with poison. The Sawk grimaced but held in the damage and the pain for now. He was almost there.

"Venoshock again!" Dasha called. The Salandit did that, but right as it seemed the Sawk had started to wane, he built up enough to go running at the Salandit. She yelped as she was hit with a fist, a foot, and then a fist again. The power of the Bide was fully released and did a nasty bit of damage, sending her tripping back and hissing in pain. Dasha grimaced some, knowing well enough that had been more than a nasty blow. "Stay out of close range, Flame Burst!" she called. The Salandit did just that, shaking the fire around her in a threatening display.

The Sawk winced at the fire but was more worried about the poison coursing through his veins. It was weakening him fast, and he needed to end this quickly least he lose from that alone. Steelng himself, he dove forward with a fierce Close Combat. "Move!" Dasha ordered. The Salandit squirmed and fled, ebbing over the rocky terrain with just enough speed to dodge the mess that was coming at her. The Sawk sunk to one knee knowing he'd run out of time. Well, oh well. It had been a fun fight.

Dasha sighed as the battle drew to a close, mumbling a soft congrats to her Salandit before starting inwards. The feisty creature was ready for another round but after a momentary hand gesture, she relented, following after Dasha and picking up a rather interesting stone along the way.

As the Sawk was defeated, Dasha started to walk passed him- only to find a series of Pokemon right inside presumably waiting for her. Blue eyes grew at the four Hitmontop and the three Tyrogue in their company. Had she… unwittingly run into a bar of Pokemon or was this an ambush? Either way. "Salandit." She'd need some help, and Dasha was already reaching for Pokeballs as the firey creature shifted forwards ready and waiting. A Gothorita, Charmander, and a Snubbull also took the front and ready. The numerous Pokemon sneered ready for a brawl.

Rather immediately the Gothorita was ordered to bring up a Light Screen and Reflect. The numbers of Dasha's Pokemon that could be injured in this fight was entirely too many, so minimizing the damage was a priority. Right after, however, the Charmander was sent after two of the Tyrogue while the Salandit and Snubbull each went after a Hitmontop. Fire burst forth in the way of a Flamethrower from the Charmander and a Flame Burst from the Salandit. The combative Pokemon would not be allowed to get in close until everything was set up. Those on the front lines would cry out briefly from the numerous flames but were nowhere close to done.

Rapid Spins would draw two Hitmontop to the Gothorita. She yelped briefly forcing her Mind to Calm before she released a series of Psyshocks in retribution. The powered-up nature of her attacks allowed her to down them one after the other even as a third came spinning at her. She took a Triple Kick to the face but was quick to down him as well. Her Type advantage and resources was more than enough to ensure victory.

The Charmander would have more trouble. Though she too was protected from the brunt forces that the Tyrogue could accomplish on their own, it was still frustrating to take. Her maw opened several times, spewing effortless flames that scorched the Tyrogue pair. A Tackle or two would have her whimpering again, but Dasha's encouragement that she could take them on her own forced her to persevere. A rush of flames once more burned the two Pokemon knocking them out right after.

The Salandit had chosen a weak opponent to finish off. She'd already battled enough and was just doing this to help out. A quick Toxic and Venoshock was enough to end a poor Tyrogue that happened to be closest to her. He didn't even get in a tackle or two hehehehehehe.

Blessed with Fairy power and an unrelenting disposition, the Snubbull finished off a Hitmontop with a double round of Play Roughs. She took several kicks to the face from a Rolling maneuver and a Triple Kick, but it would not be enough to put her down. She was a Rough kind of girl and did what she was asked.

As the battle finally settled, Dasha exhaled, fishing out some Ultra Balls and a Pokeball and sending them at the defeated Pokemon. Only after that would she find a Thunder Stone on the floor. Hm. She really didn't want to evolve Bright Star, but who knew?

As Pokeballs dinged in capture, the thunder of feet echoed down the stairs. Dasha's head snapped up just in time to see a rush of white and black fur, and for a moment, she didn't believe her eyes. Absol were solitary creatures, and sure she had met a couple here and there on these islands, but this was… five? Of them? Right after a mess of Hitmontop and Tyrogue? Was this building a place of Pokemon families or?

A roar reverberated on her side, causing Dasha's eyes to flash sideways. The Charmander who'd just finished her battle burst into light right after growing and taking on a new if pesky form. The Salandit whined and circled back around behind Dasha while the Gothorita was quick to do much the same. At least one of them wasn't good with this mess before them. Right. Dasha returned those two for now, leaving the Charmeleon and the Snubbull to deal with this new group. "Flamethrower, Play Rough," Dasha called. The Snubbull was quick to act, rushing at the first Absol with a fierce power behind her paws. The Absol took the devastating blow and returned with a Slash cutting the pooch and causing her to yip on pain.

The Charmeleon, meanwhile, seemed to be glowing again, her eyes enraged. Finally, a deep roar resounded form her, and flames spewed forth in to the Absol group. Three of them yelped, severely burned. Two lunged, rushing with Quick Attacks. The third came in with a Slash, but the angry lizard was not to be outdone. Roaring yet again, she swiped with a Dragon Pulse and sent two crashing back. The raw strength mixed with her stubbornness and new pride causing her to thrash about with fire in her maw.

Dasha hissed jumping to avoid some of the flames. Great- Charmeleon had a penchant for being fierce and vicious, didn't they? Ugh. "Snubbull be careful of friendly fire!" The Snubbull growled a little irritated at that warning but was quick to take it when a rush of flames went scorching by her. Ugh what the fuck Charmeleon? "Charmeleon! Enough!" Dasha yelled. The fire lizard would not yield, however, roaring and thrashing about setting fire to more and more things.

The Absol group had had enough, whipping to save the fainted Tyrogue that had been left since the previous battle, they fled while they could. Dasha hissed and finally returned the Charmeleon for now and released a Brionne instead. "Put out the flames!" The Brionne was quick to accommodate as best she could. The Snubbull growled a little weakly. As things finally settled again, Dasha groaned. It was… going to take a lot of training to get this fire beast under control, wasn't it? Great.

A thudding sound had Dasha's head jerking up again- right in time to see a panicked Vigoroth coming down the stairs??? What was- No it was coming at her, ugh. "Snubbull!" The dog acted quickly, several elemental bites made the Vigoroth flinch and kept its Focus Punch at bay. An Encore would only encourage her, and with the Vigoroth's own doing, the Snubbull fainted him (not without doing in a nasty Counter at the end there, ugh). At least she'd catch the Vigoroth. Maybe the Charmeleon would like such a fighting partner.

Dasha wouldn't stay in the building much longer. It was clearly a space of malcontent in one form or another, but as she returned her Pokemon and stepped out again, she just narrowly avoided being swung at. What was- a Hitmonchan? What were the odds? A small, almost frustrated noise escaped from Dasha before she grasped a Pokeball again and released her Gothorita once more. "Reflect then Psyshock," came the order.

As the Hitmonchan lunged forward with a Comet Punch, he would meet the sharp barrier drawn up by the Gothorita. She'd take damage, for sure, but it was much less now due to said barrier and her typing. Up close and personal, she set a dark hand on him before releasing a menacing Psyshock that had him yelping and tripping back. He struggled, managing to get up again and twisted around with a Rapid Spin. Once more he hit the barrier, and once more Dasha gave the roder. "Psyshock." A burst of psychic waves once more knocked the Hitmonchan downwards, and this time he could not force himself back up.

A small, almost frustrated noise escaped from Dsaha. She'd just caught a Tyrogue to train up to have the full set, and now it was there right before her. You know what? Whatever. Fishing out an Ultra Ball, she tossed it at him. "Good work, Gothorita." The latter smiled and bowed deeply. It was only as she was close to the ground, however, that the Pokemon caught sight of something shiny. Fishing it up and holding it up to Dasha, she smiled. Dasha's eyebrow quirked, but as she took the item, she slowly understood. "Thank you." This could be exchanged for quite some good shopping things later <3

Thereafter, Dasha took a brief rest. Sitting down in the grasses and closing her eyes, she recounted the numerous Pokemon she'd come across on this particular island and in that particular building. It was a great place to train, but she would need to remember it would also wear out her team quite a bit in the process. After her own rest, she'd check on the rest of her Pokemon, only to find that in a burst of light, her Gothorita would take on the final form of Gothitelle. There was a brief moment of jubilation before they settled again. This was a little more pleasant than dealing with the hardass that was her Charmeleon. Her Snubbull too was starting to act strange, akin to what some described as evolution fever. Perhaps she would be the next to evolve then.

As the group was having this relaxation time, however, a strange force would slowly grow interested. The crunch of grass would cause Dasha's eyes to dart up, and as she finally saw the Meditite, her lips quirked up a bit. "Ready to go Snubbull?" Hell yeah she was ready! The dog's intimidation would weaken the Meditite's resolve just a little before it refocused and issued out a Confusion. The Snubbull yelped but would not be outdone. "Play Rough!" And so she would go flying forwards ready to cut into the Meditite. The battle would go on a little longer, but the Fairy typing ensured the strength of the Snubbull. Several elemental bites would be exchanged for a Force Palm to the maw, but another Play Rough would do the Psychic and Fighting type in. A Pokeball would be thrown right after.

From the corner of her eye, Dasha would catch another Pokemon right after, a Slakoth hanging from a tree? Hadn't she just come across a Vigoroth? Dasha squinted but… decided she'd catch it for now. Throwing out her Charmeleon, Dasha gave a quick order, and she was just as quick to spew flames. The Slakoth did not stand a chance even when he tried to recoup by Slacking Off. Another couple of rounds, and Dasha was throwing a Pokeball at that one too.

With the Meditite and Slakoth caught, Dasha smiled- and had been about to move on when the Snubbull burst into light, growing tall and strong and ready. Blue eyes blinked several times in rapid succession, before a smile pulled across Dasha's features. Perfect. That was wonderful. Congratulating and hugging the great dog, she hummed some praises before returning her. At least that one's nature hadn't seemed distorted upon evolving. Now if only….

Hmm??? Was that yet another challenger? Dasha squinted on seeing the Makuhita before allowing a small note to escape from her. Alright. One more for the day, and that would be it, or so she told herself. Fishing out that Pokeball again, she released her Charmeleon again. The latter hissed on appearing, but Dasha was stern. "Flamethrower," was the order. The Charmeleon relented somewhat and spewed flames.

The Makuhita dug into the ground unwilling to fall just yet. Pumping up his fists, he returned with a Force Palm that had the Charmeleon sliding back some in turn. Another irritated his, and more orders. A Dragon Pulse would have the fighting type sliding some, and a Close Combat would have the Charmeleon yelping. Dasha's encouragement, at least, had the Fire type fighting onwards. A couple more orders, and the Makuhita finally fell. The Charmeleon huffed. Of course, she'd done it. She was strong. Dasha squinted, not quite sure if she actually wanted the Makuhita or not. Hm, well. She'd caught other Fighting types today. Why not. Fishing out a Pokeball, she aimed to catch it. That would be the last though, she mentally assured herself.
