Appearance
Macaria Suda isn't quite the average professor, in fact, one could say that technically she isn't one just yet. So, seeing she isn't a standard professor, she doesn't wear their complete standard garb. She likes the color pink and so one can very often see her wear a pink labcoat along with a tie of some form. She tends to wear professional business wear in general, despite the color change. One can see her wear though sneakers seeing she does a lot more running around as well as the occasional headphones which allow her to record and listen to her notes electronically. She carries a satchel on her person which contains her research and some other goods. Macaria wears a utility belt which contains a small recorder, as well as some more immediate items. Her pokeballs for instance.
One of the biggest distinguishing features for Macaria is her blue hair, which is a bit of an odd color, and it is indeed dyed. It was originally blonde, but she felt that it would be good to match her eye color. Besides, it goes rather well with her pink. She has a lithe and petite body though clearly effeminate. She has smooth skin and pearly white teeth. She isn't really athletic at all, looking more like the kind of person that works a desk job. She weighs around 110 LB and is 5'6". One could say that she usually seems to be an optimistic person, and always full of life and energy. She has a 36 B-Cupsize and she usually wears her hair in a ponytail, though occasionally she changes it up if she feels like it. Her outfit occasionally changes when the need requires for her research or for the time of year.
Personality
- Knowledgeable: She as the daughter of an actual professor has a fine understanding of pokemon and thus loves them and are fascinated by their nature, in fact being inspired to study them herself. She as a result can easily socialize with other people that also have an interest in Pokemon in general. She also is able to understand how certain pokemon feel and for what reasons despite not being able to understand what they are saying, having a great sense of empathy for them, often considering the thoughts of pokemon in general, always having a great curiosity of why pokemon behave the ways that they do.
- Energetic: While this could be seen as a hit or miss, Macaria is always someone that puts her wholehearted effort into something simply because she believes that if you don't have the intention of putting the whole effort, why do it in the first place? It's important to her to stay energetic, because once someone falls into a slump, nothing really gets done. One can always see her vibrant and ready to get to work, though if she isn't that usually means there's something big going on. She also likes energetic people, but yet not people that are overbearing and annoying about it, like martial artists that demand you to train with them.
- Rational: She's the kind of person that looks at things statistically and logically. She isn't the kind of person that's going to lie and say everything's going to be alright. Frankly, she's the kind of person that does everything in a logical aspect whether it be a battle, a research method, or other such things. However, she finds it important for emotional people to take nothing personal. It's the kind of thing that makes bad relations for no good reasons really.
- Lover of Cute: She enjoys adorable things, absolutely loves such things. She likes to be considered cute, though not necessarily charming or adorable. She simply enjoys those kinds of things overall. There are certain pokemon she'd consider cute, and some that would be considered ugly. Though, it would never sway her decision of what kind of pokemon she'd bring into say a battle. Her logical side would dictate that she brings the most effective pokemon as opposed to the cutest kind of pokemon.
- Generous: She is the kind of gal that is generous and more than fair when it comes to scenarios involving her work. She doesn't go flaunting things like cash, but she has the belief that everything is bargainable, and as a result, there should really never be a need for conflict. However, she understands that not everything is logical, even if logical reasons can be applied onto things. Thus, she tries her best to reason her way out of unfavorable situations.
- Unforgiving: She doesn't forgive people easily when they've wronged her, in fact, one could say that she wouldn't at all. If someone is willing to betray you once, what stops them from doing it a second or third time? It's one of the reasons why she doesn't bother in romantic relationships or anything like that. It causes drama, and she's far too busy with her research for that kind of thing anyways. Though she might humor an individual in that area if they proved to be worth the effort. However, don't count on it.
- Blunt: She doesn't care much about people's feelings that much, pokemon or person alike. She looks at things rationally, perhaps too much so. However, the matter of the fact is, she lacks restraint to stop herself from hurting a person's feelings. So for instance, if she saw a particularly clingy or mellow dramatic person, she wouldn't hesitate from calling them...a number of words that are not nice. So, just don't make yourself look bad, and she won't call you out on it.
- Personal Space: Personal space is something that really isn't all that important. Well, to her at least. She wouldn't care if someone got very close, so long as they don't actually do anything. Same thing for other people. She would invade them to observe them better, but she wouldn't actually go as far as rubbing her hands all over them. They aren't objects, and apparently this sort of thing gets people into trouble or something.
- Explorer: She loves to explore new environments and try new things all the time, although sometimes it isn't the best thing for her. So, she likes to go ahead and get a bit wild considering you only live once. Besides, wandering to all sorts of places allows her to benefit her research and see new sorts of pokemon she normally wouldn't be able to. It's a fun time getting to all these sorts of things.
- Judgmental:She as an analytical mind looks at things for their value as well as their apparent overall statistics. She doesn't believe that a pokemon, or even people can win just because they have the will power. Everything needs some basis or chance in order for it to happen. So, when finding something and identifying it as weak, or not useful, there's no need to have it around. She's not heartless, but she wouldn't make a connection or keep any pokemon around that wasn't useful to her anyways. There are few exceptions to these rules, such as pokemon that could be useful in other ways.
History
Macaria Suda grew up in Sandgem Town in the Sinnoh Region growing up as the daughter of a researcher which was her mother. Her father worked overseas as another researcher, and so, one could see the reason for her inspiration in research of Pokemon as well. As a result of being the daughter of two researchers, she was surrounded by pokemon all the time. For one, many trainers brought in their pokemon to help with research and her mother had a few that stayed around themselves. So, she grew up thinking about what exactly she would be researching, helping study some pokemon herself by commonly going out into the wilderness and catching certain ones with her mother's own aides. She quickly gained reputation as an aide and quite the bright girl seeing she was rather well off with helping her mother out. Though, as for what inspired her research, it was because she had noticed phenomenon in some parts.
Having looked at Diglet, or Magnemite, she was fascinated at how these singular entities evolved to become a multi entity pokemon such as Dugtrio. So, she began to study some pokemon that evolved and or were simply like this to begin with. With her fascination, she decided her goal was to research why certain pokemon evolved into multiple entity pokemon and how they behaved, but also to understand why certain pokemon had natural hostilities or behaviors towards counterparts and other similar entities. Such examples of these were two of her own pokemon, Zangoose and Seviper. These two pokemon were her first studies, and despite not being a researcher, her studies were enough to merit her a Jr. Researcher award, and it was a very valid form of research. For six years she had studied other pokemon in attempts to understand their natures, but it was time for her to move out, much like her father had to study in other regions. While her father had traveled to the Unova Region, and her mother was in the Sinnoh Region, Macaria decided to head out for the Veria Region for her first exploration of study.
Being provided a stipend by her family as well as a scholarship from the Pokemon Research League, she had arrived and she casually travels in search of pokemon that match her research. However, she also has been requested by extension to study in general pokemon relationships that seem odd or unnatural. It was a simple request, and so she agreed to it, heading off to begin her exploration of the world and also to catch as many species as possible to see if there were hidden components to her research she may have not have considered. Now as a young lady, she is prepared to do as trainers say, "catch them all" and gain prestige as a researcher. While not an official researcher, her mind is set as she wants to be one eventually.
