[attr="class","daxreasonbod"]Daxton winced and nearly receded into his jacket when a bright flash caught him off guard. Now, he was used to the intensity of a forge, but when you're walking at night and something lights the fuck up like a firework going off next to your face, it was going to really hurt. "Augh! What in the hell?!" Daxton exclaimed, rubbing his eyes before squinting towards a soft glowing shiinotic.

The fungus seemed a little sorry about what it had done to Daxton, but now that his eyes were adjusting, it seems as if the Pokemon was just giving him some more light along the trail to work with. Giving the Pokemon a wary nod, Daxton continued down the path, thankful that it wasn't intent on hurting him.

There was also a Psyduck that had been stunned along the way as well, it seemed. The little duck was actually blinking some as it looked around. When it spotted Daxton though, it ran off behind a bush and came back with a colorful egg, passing it to him before placing it's hands back on it's head and wandering off... confused. "I see how tonight is going to be..."

[attr="class","daxreasonbod"]Daxton dropped his hands to his sides, finally finished rubbing the practical flash burn out of his eyes. His sight was returning to him more and more, and his Bronzor seemed considerably less annoyed at the general state of things. A Gothita, minding it's own business, nearly crossed his path in time to bump into him, but quickly spun away and went another direction.

It almost seemed like she was looking or something but he didn't bother his self with it. Instead, he carried forward, occasionally reaching up to rub at his eyes. His legs were still tense and until that went away, there was really no point in going home yet. For a moment, he considered actually battling something before that flew out the window for a video of dancing bears to replace his thoughts.

[attr="class","daxreasonbod"]Daxton blinked back into reality when he heard a Munna crying out. He said he was going to battle, but with a Pokemon like Munna, there was no way he could beat it up and feel good about it. He watched as it floated place to place, seeming to check on things as it made it's way around the clearing.

He and it seemed like several other Pokemon were disturbed by the sounds of a Whismur. They all jarred at the sound that seemed to be created just to grasp their attention. The small, pink Pokemon passed an egg up to him before being chased away by the Munna. It was probably keeping Pokemon asleep for whatever reason, and whatever that reason was seemed to be good enough to piss off the Pokemon.

Putting the egg away, Daxton looked up from his backpack only to be startled by the Munna upclose with a psywave readied.. then startled again by Toll popping up between them to take the attack. He bounced back a little, just enough to have to be caught by Daxton. "You ok?" He asked, watching Toll rise back up. "Good. Feint Attack!" The Munna was already trying to close distance between them again, good for the group though, it was caught off guard by Toll striking the Munna away with his Feint attack. "Geez. Lets get the hell outta here while it's stunned." Anything other than let that thing potentially put him to sleep. He wanted to sleep, but he could definitely go without the hostility.

[attr="class","daxreasonbod"]Daxton wound up turning around and heading back towards the city, beginning to retrace his steps by just a bit. He went around where the Munna had been, and looked to his Bronzor. His legs were feeling a little better, but in the long run, he didn't want to run his Bronzor into the ground this late either.

It was probably just as tired as him. He gave a clefairy a passing glance and carried on towards the city. He wasn't going to bother with that one either. Maybe he'd feel more like battling when he came out here later with Kado and Dakota. That way, Kado could make fun of Daxton and everyone would get a good laugh at his expense. It'd be beautiful, people would be happy and hopefully it would actually go that way... rather than suck.

[attr="class","daxreasonbod"]They were almost back to Aleal, and they'd have kept walking as well if a Minior hadn't appeared in front of them, spinning lightly in the air. Unsure of whether or not it was looking at him, he tilted left and right to see if it would follow his movements... and it did. "Oh, you guys are strange to see up close." He commented absently, yelping and ducking out of the way of the Pokemon diving towards him.

It was almost too adorable to be angry at, almost. "Toll, Flash Cannon!" He was going to regret it, but it was probably the best attack he had for taking on this Pokemon. A bright beam of light fired towards the Minior in a bright flash, striking it dead center and pushing it backwards. As the Pokemon reeled from the attack, Daxton put his arms up to get ready for whatever was next. These pokemon were notorious for blowing themselves up, and he wasn't about to get cocky about this.

But it didn't explode, rather, it fired a flurry of stars towards Daxton and his Bronzor, hitting spot on and leaving no chance of dodging. Luckily, Swift really didn't do any sort of impressive damage to steel types. Looking back to his Bronzor, he nodded his head at the Minior, silently commanding him to use the attack again.

While Toll busied his self firing off another Flash Cannon, hitting the Minior once again, Daxton pulled an empty Pokeball free of his bag. Right when he was about to throw it though, the Pokemon began to glow and let off a powerful explosion. Daxton caught some debris to the arms protecting his face, and Toll let out a soft, pained noise. When the dust settled, Daxton turned to eye his Bronzor, which, luckily, was still floating next to him.

Of course, Toll was a little dazed, but he was alright. Giving his Pokemon a quick 'high-five' of sorts (which was just basically smacking a steel plate), he threw the Pokeball at the Minior, drawing it inside and closing tightly. Cautiously, he approached the rocking pokeball, stopping a few feet away.
