The Star Festival only seemed to grow busier and busier as each day passed, and with the questionable ‘strange sightings’ that had also started to increase during this time, Dasha found herself more and more on alert. She tried to enjoy herself in the numerous festival activities and going-ons, but perhaps it was the agent in her that couldn’t quite rest now that something was supposedly ‘going on’ (no matter how skeptical she might have been considering some of those reporters were drunk as hell on giving said report ugh). She could try, and she would try, but eehhhhh.
Wandering around for the nth time in jeans, a t-shirt, and a simple tote purse on her shoulder, Dasha looked like any other festival goer as she moved around. Occasionally her eyes would flicker to one of the games, shops, stalls, and whatever else, but it didn’t last too long. She’d seen such things before, after all. It would be as her eyes scanned around, however, that she caught sight of a familiar face. Dasha blinked a couple of times before starting over. “Hale!” Guess she was out in the festival as well. Shouldn’t have been that surprising.

Like before, Lucia was quietly wandering about, enjoying the sights and food of the festival. Not only that, but she even caught a couple of nice Pokemon the other day. She hadn't planned on doing so when she first came out to enjoy the festivities, but she certainly wasn't complaining. It was gonna suck once it was over and live would return to normal, but alas. At least now she had a prospective new member of her team to train. That was always something to look forward to in her eyes. Plus he was so cute and fluffy.
Regardless, as she walked along, her attention was caught when a familiar voice suddenly called out her last name. Turning to where it seemed like it came from, her suspicions were confirmed when she saw the casually-dressed Dasha. A pleasant surprise, to say the least. Although she was, admittedly, a tiny bit disappointed that she didn't dress up nicely for the occasion, she wasn't exactly complaining either; Dasha was nice to look at either way. "Hey! Quite the festival, huh? The food is especially great~"

As Lucia turned, Dasha slowed a bit closing in on her. A brief note on her casual wear and pretty easy greeting was folded up in the back of Dasha’s mind for later. “It sure is something,” she agreed. Though she had technically been there last year, her experience had been marred by her own moodiness and vague depression, so this was the first time she really saw it for what it was. “Guess the capitol has to throw a big yearly party though…” Briefly, she recalled the far more distant parties and luxuries she’d experienced back home. Now those had been parties if she’d known any.
A shake of head was given to clear it, however. “Are you out enjoying yourself then?” It looked about as much and was probably a dumb question at the end of the thought— but whatever for now. She shifted her bag and her stance some as a couple people who had been walking behind her skirted around her and Lucia then.

Ah yes. The super fancy parties that tended to be held while the Festival itself was going on. Lucia had heard of them, and it was a little hard not to be curious about what they were like. She was far too unimportant to ever attend such a thing, though, and truth be told, she wasn't sweating it. Honestly, the only way she could ever see herself going to such an event is if it was part of Interpol work, and even then she had a feeling she'd end up sticking out like a sore thumb. "More power to those who enjoy the fancy parties, but I'll take this any day"
As Dasha asked if she was enjoying the festival, she smiled and nodded "Sure am. I ended up missing out on the whole thing last year due to work suddenly piling up, so I was determined to make sure my schedule was cleared up this time around. Had to bust my ass to finish most of my work in time, but it's already been well worth the effort." She let out a small chuckle, remembering the grind to get as much work done as possible in the weeks leading up to the start of the festival. Of course, this didn't mean she half-assed everything. She wasn't that desperate.
"How about you? You enjoying yourself?" It was in that moment she'd realized that this it wasn't often that she and Dasha spoke casually like this. Which was a shame, since she seemed quite nice. A bit overly-formal, perhaps, but she seemed like pleasant company. Maybe it was time to change that. "Actually, I was just thinking about getting something a little more substantial to eat at one of the nearby restaurants...if you'd like, you're more than welcome to join me. It'll be my treat."
As she finished, she flashed her signature "charming smile", the one with which she's wooed many other nameless girls throughout her time in the Veria Region. Even when she wasn't actively trying to flirt with her, some habits just died hard, and this was one of them. If nothing else, she did at least manage to get the suggestion out without sounding like she was hitting on her. For the most part. Probably.
