Zane was startled by the two pokemon slightly although he didn't show it, Eira however sure did show she had been surprised. Since it was a double battle he decided to give one of his youngest pokemon a chance to battle too as he sent out Simba his male Shinx. "Ok you two lets get them" he smiled. Because of his ability Rivalry shinx would do more damage to both of the pokemon being all three were male.

First the mareep used cotton spore on forslass. "Ok Simba you use swift on the togepi" he said as Simba jumped up using swift from his tail. "Eira use confuse ray on the mareep" he said as she hit it with a flash of confuse ray. Togepi used metronome which came out as helping hand.

Round one summery:

Second round:

Mareep tried to hit froslass with a discharge but hit itself in confusion. Togepi used metronome again this time coming out as trick. "Simba use Wild charge on togepi" he said as it would do some recoil damage but did a lot to the togepi. "Eira use ice fang on mareep" he said which did a good amount of damage.

He used a pokeball on the togepi hoping to catch him in the pokeball using up shinx turn. Mareep this time was able to use discharge on froslass as froslass used was told to use shadow ball on the mareep. Which caused the mareep to flee the battle to battle another day.





Confuse

It had been some time since the last battle soon he spotted a Bouffalant appeared with a Marill. So he decided to use Simba again and this time Tanner his turtanator. "Ok lets go guys" he said hoping to catch the Bouffalant pokemon. Tanner was standing ready for the battle to begin. Simba was excited to get to battle again.

Tanner was told to use shell trap figuring the Boufalant would just charge at them. The boufalant was first to attack turtantor and fell for his trap. As he used As marill used hydro pump at Simba who just bearly managed to dodge it since that move did have a chance of missing. Then he went in with a thunderbolt at the marill as he was told to do.

tanner: 261 (full hp)
shinx: 221 (full hp it had when battle started)

boufalant: 175/331 hp
marill: 23/281 hp

round two:
The Boufalant was able to attack first this time as Tanner took the hit like he was told to. Acting like it was nothing. Marill then used aqua tail on Simba. Simba took a lot of damaged but managed to finish off the marill with thunderbolt.

Round two stats:
tanner: 196/261 hp
shinx: 79 hp remaining

starting the next turn he threw a great ball hoping to catch the boufalant.

Zane had returned shinx for now to give him a rest but Tanner was still raring to go. They walked a bit then took a break eating lunch with all their pokemon friends. Then went back to looking around for pokemon. As they came upon a simple sunkern it wasnt a very strong pokemon nor a pokemon he really wanted. But the pokemon seemed determined to battle. He did view that as admirable but he still wasn't interested enough to catch it. He smiled at Tanner and then back at the brave little grass type. "Ok we will battle" he said.

He still took the first move and used dragon pulse which was a garenteed ko.

After placing the sunkern in safe place him and turtantor kept looking around for more pokemon. Epxloring the area, then suddenly he noticed something he had been hoping to find. A firey ponyta grazing on the grass. He had to admit he was parshal to dragon and fire types. But pontya was one of the cutest pokemon in his opition one of his top five cutest pokemon. He hoped he wouldn't miss catching the pokemon.

"Ok lets go Tanner" he said as trutanator made noise so the pokemon wouldn't be blindsided. The ponyta whinnied loudly as if accepting the challenge.

The ponyta was of course quicker as it then used agility to make itself even faster. Zane told tanner to used dragon pulse. As the dragon type let out a powerful dragon pulse. But the speed did't matter much as the next turn he used a pokeball to catch the ponyta.

Zane still continued to battle along side Tanner, the next two pokemon he saw he wanted both of. A small sized Pumpkaboo and a Torchik. He decided to battle with someone he needed to use more. He called out Janilee to help out Tanner. Janilee was a female Munchlax. She scratched her tummy and yawned sleepily but was standing ready as did Tanner. He thought about it for several minutes did he really want to catch both pokemon. What would he do if he did catch both he would almost be out of pokeballs then. He wondered what he should do but decided to go for it after all.

Torchik was faster and used slash on Janilee with its tallons on its chicky feet. Not being ready for that Janilee tumbled backward taking damage but got right back up now ready to battle and was nice and awake. "Good job Janilee your doing good" Zane said. She ran at the tiny chick pokemon as fast as a munchlax could. Then with all its might used a mighty body slam down onto the torchik doing 80% of its health damage to it. Janilee then turned to cheer Tanner on for his turn forgetting it was still in a battle. "Stay focused Janilee" Zane reminded her as she realized she had been distracted and turned back to the Torchik.

He then thought on what to have tanner do not sure which one of his moves he should use. He was trying to be smart and careful about it. But unfortunately this gave the small Pumpkaboo a chance to attack first. Pumpkaboo used Shadow Sneak on Tanner. This didn't do much damage to Tanner. He still wondered which move then finally decided on using Dragon Pulse. "Let's go Tanner use Dragon Pulse on Pumpkaboo now" he said confidently, confident in his choice of move. Tanner had been patient for the move to be called and let out a powerful Dragon Pulse attack. As the move hit it did about sixty percent of the Pumpkaboo's total health.

Then the next turn came he thought about what to do but didn't take as long to decide this time. As he used each of his pokemons turns to try to catch the pokemon.

Zane walks along with his pokemon the next pokemon he saw was very calm. Even though he had almost run into it. He knew Tanner wouldn't be a good matchup. He thought about it he decided not to use Eira his froslass. That left Simba his shinx or Janilee his Munchlax. He smiled thinking for the pokemon in front of him was a Kirlia. The first evolved pokemon he had seen so far while on this catch trip.

The kirlia was very calm even though it had been a few minutes of just him looking at her. Zane smiled and finally decided who he would use and what move he was going to use. He smiled ”Let’s go Janilee” he said. He had called out his munchlax. He chose her cause of her ability thick fat, she was the pokemon that could most tank the kirlias hits and still do decent damage. ”You got this Janilee, use body slam,” he said to her he had decided quick enough that the kirlia was caught off guard. The body slam seemed to do lots of damage. ”Nice job Janilee” Zane smiled at her. The kirlia used hypnosis, which had a chance of missing. Just as she started doing it zane called out ”Curl to your tummy” this way he couldn't hear or see the hypnosis so it didn't work.

Zane used a great ball he had after that to catch the kirlia.
