Aleksander's path stayed pretty much linear for a little while, but when it came time to round a walk, he spotted an odd Pokemon out. The Espeon's head tilted back and forth at him, watching him with cool, calm eyes. Pulling on Lawrence's reigns, halting the Pokemon so he could jump down and try to approach the Espeon. It looked wild, but at the same time, it might have been lost. It was... so odd to see an Espeon in the wild like this.

The problem was, when he tried to get near the Espeon to check it for signs of potential ownership, it reared it's head and took a step back. "Of course, I should have known it would not be easy." Thumping his fist on his knee, he stood to his full height and let Boone out of his ball. "We need to take this Espeon down so I can check it." As he turned back to the Espeon, he noted that it was bearing it's weight strangely.

If it was wild, he'd probably end up catching it to take it somewhere to get checked out. First thing is first though, he needed to get it in the ball before all the other things. "Hone claws and Crush Claw!" He just needed to dole out enough damage to immobilize it, he had no need to knock it unconscious. He was a big man that handled Pokemon much bigger than this Espeon. Before the psychic type got a chance to think, the Rufflet dove towards it and wrapped it's talons around it's neck, slamming it into the ground.

The Espeon let out a soft coo as it was brought to the ground, Aleks gaining the opening he needed to step behind the wild Pokemon and grip it by it's scruff with his large hands. He double checked it for signs of ownership, but found nothing. It was such a shame, how Pokemon wound up in strange places with no herd or pack. Shaking his head, he checked the paw and found a gash.

So he was right about it being injured, and he was right about it being wild rather than owned. He knew it looked too messed up to be owned. Grabbing an ultra ball, he pressed it to the scruff of the Espeon's neck and placed it on the ground to watch it rock back and forth.

Aleksander picked up the ball, tucking it safely away after getting the click to confirm that the Espeon wasn't going to be busting out anytime soon. As he stood up, he congratulated his Rufflet and put the Pokemon back into it's ball so it could take a moment to rest. He exchanged the Pokemon with Arlo, the new edition to their little gaggle of friends on the farm.

The Mudkip let out a chipper 'mud!' up at Aleksander while he moved to stand next to Lawrence. "Hello to you too, Ar-whoa!" Just as he was about to jump onto his Mudsdale's back, the giant horse Pokemon pulled his head up and body bumped Aleks carefully. He was warning him of some sort of danger nearby, he just had to find it.

Patting his Pokemon's shoulder in thanks, Aleks stepped forward, blinking when he came face to face with a Munna... he thinks? Not much was clear after that because all he could really recall was falling backwards, landing on the ground with a heavy thud.

Lawrenced pawed at the earth in warning to the Munna, mainting his calm demeanor as typical of the Mudsdale species. Arlo on the other hand let out a gurgling growl. The growl though, quickly turned into a yawn. Taking the initiative, he was able to successfully effect the Munna, as well as avoid getting put to sleep his self by another Hypnosis.

Watching the Pokemon fall asleep, Arlo gave a small smirk, his cheeks puffing as they filled with water. The Munna was still out and thankfully, had zero means to avoid the Hydro Pump that came flying towards it. The wild Pokemon was doused and knocked backwards, waking up when it smacked into one of the many sandstone rocks with a wet 'smack'. That Mudkip was still standing, and was smirking at the Munna.

Arlo finally took an attack though, the psychic ringing through their head, a pounding headache following but soon subsiding. The battle wasn't over like he though it was, whoops. Opening his eyes and finding his self on the ground, the Mudkip quickly corrected his posture and hopped to his feet. Using his powerful tail, he collected a large rock and lobbed it towards the wild Pokemon.

The rock connected, and with that, fell to the ground without much more of a battle. Seeming incredibly proud of his self, Arlo took even more intiative and ran to his master's side, collecting one of the strange devices from the cargo pouch on his pants and rolling it towards the Munna, careful of the button. And once he was there, he booped the button up against the Munna, drawing it inside! Yes! Arlo was even more proud of his self! He thought he was doing awesome!

Meanwhile, Aleks finally pushed his self into a sitting position, shaking off the sleep and looking around for the Munna. Instead of finding a Munna though, there was a very bored looking Lawrence... normal, a very proud looking Arlo... what did he do.

And a Pokeball rocking back and forth. "oh."
