Kenshin is rather slim when it comes to his body type. His hair is short and scruffy and is also white with hints of brown scattered throughout it. Ken's eyes are droopy and he usually looks tired and unenthusiastic. He stands at 5'10", making him a little bit shorter than most young men in Verian. He is mostly seen wearing school attire. The young man's eyes are gray and mostly bears a slight frown. He has a blue tattoo of a snowflake and an Alolan Vulpix on his right shoulder but mostly keeps it covered with long sleeves.

Kenshin was born to a wealthy family in Aleal City. He lived with his mother, father, and grandparents. He was a quiet child and rarely cried, only crying when he needed something from his parents. Once Ken was four years old, he started his education. He was a smart child and studied hard. He made friends at school and was seen as a role model to many other students.

One day, one of his friends grew jealous of his family's status. She started to look down on him. After about a month and jealousy and fighting they cut all ties. Saddened by the loss of his friend, he was worried that his social status would affect other friendships as well. Ken was scared and tried to stay overprotective to his friends to the point where they found it strange. Soon enough, his other friends left, and he struggled to make new ones.

Ken was soon exiled from most of the kids at school, and by the time he started middle school, he was so used to this kind of treatment that he eventually stopped most social interaction.

When he thought he lost all hope, his parents started a business for breeding Pokemon and he decided to help. He befriended an Alolan Vulpix that he raised since it hatched from its egg. They were best friends, and the Vulpix, nicknamed Icicle, was what seemed like Kenshin's best friend.

Ken's family started traveling to different regions with him, and it soon became his favorite thing to do. He would travel to other cities and help wild Pokemon that were wounded in battle.

He still stayed shy and reserved, having little interaction with the kids in his school. He graduated with good grades. He decided to study Pokemon breeding after he left high school so he could make a living out of it. Icicle stayed his best friend and only source of happiness, and it seemed like it would stay that way forever.

He befriended and captured a few other Pokemon that he cared for as well.

While in high school, Kenshin took dancing classes. He was also very good at PE, but he only uses this skill when needed.

Ken also practicing running with his Pokemon and built up speed and stamina. He sometimes races his Lycanroc while playing with him, but usually loses.

Kenshin's depression isn't bad enough to the point where it degrades him. Sometimes he feels happy, and other times he feels depressed. It depends on the situation he's in or if something happened recently. Same goes with his lack of enthusiasm.

Kenshin's foot was planted deep in the snow. Lycanroc stared straight ahead, preparing to dash and beat Ken in the race. Lycanroc barked and stared at Ken. "Are you ready, boy?" The young man stared back at his Lycanroc. Lycanroc let out another bark, signaling he was ready. "Alright... Three, two one, go!" Lycanroc dashed ahead as Ken trailed behind. Lycanroc started to lose his breath, about 50 feet in as he started to walk and flop on the snow, panting. Ken was surprised to see his Lycanroc pass out from being tired, especially since Lycanroc would almost always beat him in a race. "You okay?" Ken asked, somewhat surprised. All of a sudden, Lycanroc started to transform into Zorua. "Zorua... Are you playing tricks on me again?" Zorua looked up at its owner. Zorua yipped and rolled over on his back. "You're so silly..." Ken remarked, bending over to give the little Pokemon some belly rubs. Zorua panted and looked up at Kenshin. Ken picked up Zorua and decided to leave the snowy field. "Come on boy, let's take you home."
