Pulling in the boat to one of the more open and flooded streets, the third floor of the buildings the only parts to breech the water, Shaun was keeping an eye out for anything shiny as his Spheal rolled about and circled his legs, the tiny circular pokemon rolling along by his feet, swaying left and right by the natural swaying of the boat. Shaun let out a faint chuckle before easing the pokemon up into his arms. "Fancy helpin me out with a swim buddy?"

A short plop into the water later, and the Spheal climbing up onto the rubble of a nearby building, shaking rapidly to get the water off it's body, its innocent little features searching around the rubble to try and find the treasure Shaun wanted here, jolting as bubbles hit the side of it's head. Grumbling it rolled back towards whatever had done that to him, staring down the krabby who was snickering at the cheap shot it had managed to take,t he spherical ice pokemon letting out a huff of breath and shooting a stream of water back in it's face, the two pokemon now damp, and giving eachother huffy glares before finally rushing at one another. The spheal leaped over the Krabby as it tried to make a swipe for him, jumping off it's head, and rolling off behind it, shooting another attack into the back of it's head, the krabby growling and whirling about, snapping it's claws sharply to try and be intimidating.

"Yeeeeeah Spheal! KIck it's ass!"

Hearing it's trainer cheering it on from the boat, Spheal got a bit more eager and headbutted the Krabby rather fiercely, the Krabby swiping back harshly while it was in range. Shaun could tell this would go on a while, and tossed a pokeball between his hands, waiting for the Spheal to do just enough damage before throwing out a pokeball, bouncing it off the Krabby's head and managing to lock it into a catch, Shaun offering his little Spheal a big thumbs up to which the spheal was definitely excited by.

Driving deeper into the ruins, Shaun narrowed his eyes at the sight before him, a literal barricade of slug pokemon, the sea slugs Gastrodon and Slugma crawling over the rubble and, while she was sure Sharpedo could rush through it and clear a path, the slime of the pokemon was easily sticking it all together.

"Ya know...usually i'd let these guys go but its rare to see so many evolved pokemon in one place...pretty sure we don't have any of 'em either. What'ya say guys? Gonna give it a go for me?"

Back on the ship, the recently caught krabby was ready to get into a fight, and the spheal and seel in the water below her were ready to fight too.With a stomp of his boot simply enough, Shaun set them all off to rush forward and take on the slimy pokemon. Out of the water leapt a rather odd mixer with the horde, to which the shellder immediately rushed. Watching it try to rise it's defenses, a claw heavily slammed down into it's shell, closing it up around it's tongue before the Krabby's claw clasped around the shell itself to keep it shut. Shaun's brow quirked, wondering what Krabby was even planning beyond shutting the clam up, before snickering as he literally chucked it at a Gastrodon's head to knock it out, Shaun reacting quickly, fumbling for pokeballs to suck the pokemon in.

Seel was quick to act next, sharp to use it's freezing aspect, the cold weather, and the slime of the opposing pokemon to it's advantage, locking them each in by freezing what was making them cling to the rocks in the first place, locking them in place while delivering even more damage before falling forward to thwack the slimy pokemon with it's tail, Shaun tossing out another 3 balls to try and take them in. Krabby came in and even helped take out one of the gastrodon that had been frozen but not captured, slamming the back of it's head to deliver a harsh blow with it's claw.

Finally spheal, following the seal's lead but somehow unable to pump out the same freezing capability, he landed roughly on the rubble the slugs were sticking together, grinding into a rollout and using the very linear land mass to it's advantage as the slugs had very little chance to dodge, taking them out one by one with increasing momentum, till Sharpie had enough of the path cleared to dash through the rubble ahead for them!

With a nice new horde of pokemon he could flog off next time he sailed into the bay, Shaun was definitely enjoying this trip and, like his pokemon, was certainly eager to find some more fun critters to do battle with. Swirling the boat inbetween two larger buildings, one of which had collapsed and was being supported by the other, Shaun was glad to see he wouldn't have to wait too long for some more opportunity to add to his collection.

"Krabby, you want these two?~"

The krabby gave a confident nod and leaped off the front of the ship, snapping his claws eagerly to see if either of them were brave enough to take him on. The Crabrawler seemed to be the braver of the two and moved in first, the two pokemon locking claws and trying to push one another off of the small rock that was peeking out of the water, narrowing eyes at one another as they put all their legs and might into pushing harder and harder. Shaun rolled his eyes as it went on for almost half a minute. "Just wack 'em between the eyes!"

Taking the order to heart, the Krabby reared back an arm throwing the Crabrawler off balance, and pounding it right between the eyes. It stumbled back into the water, and the staryu was quick to take it's place. Krabby seemed pretty confident till a full psychic blast knocked him off the rock himself, groaning as he worked his way back to his feet, narrowing his eyes and chuckling a rock back at the staryu in anger, flinching as he managed to get a lucky shot and chipping the gem/eye of the staryu, Shaun honestly looking a little worried.

"Er...we...may wanna catch that one just to make sure it's okay..."
