Welcome to Veria!
Pokémon Horizons is an expansive RP driven by member-planned plots and regular site events more than any singular site-wide plot, meaning there is always something to do and always room for new ideas.
From classic Pokémon staples to simple slice-of-life to grandiose encounters with Legendary Pokémon, there's a little something for everyone. We've been open since December 2015 and are always eager to welcome new friends~

Cigarette resting in his mouth, Shaun was glad to feel the winter chill starting to dissipate, even if it wasn't completely gone yet. It meant she could start wearing his preferred clothes soon, something nice and loose, and let him show off his tattoo...yeah. Sounded nice.~
A sqwuak from Ruck as they sailed into the deeper sections of old Pahalla, Shaun was lifting his head to see the bird circling an old building, smirking over at them and giving a strong thumbs up the bird would be able to just barely see, changing course off to the left to try and park the boat up by the building to see what had caught Ruck's attention.

Kicking off the boat after making sure it was secured, not by anything like a rope on a piece of structure, but just by his Kingler keeping a firm and tight grip on the front, shooting the pokemon a thumbs up which he replied to by pumping his free claw, digging his legs in tight while Poliwhirl started to prepare the ACTUAL rope to moor the boat.
With Ruck still circling the top of the building Shaun had to assume the good shit he'd found was somewhere close to the top, and with all the elevator's in these buildings down for the count, it was gonna be a climb. Ah well, with Sealeo out by his side their wouldn't be much that could cause them trouble, and so finding the stairs, he started to climb upward.
The flopping motions of the walrus Pokemon showed it likely wasn't going to be making it all the way to the top without at least one break to catch it's breath. Luckily for it, a few floors up Shaun would stop and wait for them, but only because they needed them. A rather pissy looking Surskit and an...indifferent Stunfisk stood in the two's way of the next set of steps, and with a shrug and a point, Shaun gave the practical kill order for Sealeo, pointing towards the two Pokemon ahead.
Rolling out towards the two first, it broke them apart and focused on the easier of the two targets for itself, the fast insect Pokemon striking with a quick attack that the Sealeo easily tanked, replying with an ice attack that froze the speedy little insect and sent it gliding across the moistened floors of the old Pahalla office building. Feeling fairly confident with itself, the Sealeo turned to face the Stunfisk only to get a face full of mud. MUD. Really!? You didn't go for an electric attack you stupid...growling behind his tusks, the Walrus Pokemon rolled up into a ball and began darting around the room, dodging the attacks thrown at it till it picked up momentum, slamming hard into the side of the Stunfisk, and sending it flying across the room to the whistle of his trainer.

Heading further up the stairs, Shaun let out a light huff as he made it to the next floor. Fuck this place was big, and all he'd found so far was waterlogged computers. Of course they could still be sold for parts and metal to some degree, heck there was probably some extent of salvageablity to the circuitry and shit he wouldn't understand but-
Thoughts interrupted by a wooper jumping on his head from the floor above, Shaun let out a low growl as he rubbed his head, eyes shooting towards the small Pokemon and the Phantump that floated down to follow it. Narrowing his eyes and readying a pokeball pair, he pointed out the two to Sealeo. "Grass type and a ground type, easy pickings for you."
The Sealeo nodded, busting out the ice moves quickly to get rid of the one enemy that would cause it the most trouble, the blistering winds cutting across the damp room and freezing the floor, the nimble ghost type dodging the first attack, squeaking in a way that made the Wooper realize they were being attacked, turning to the Sealeo just in time for his friend to go down, screaming as it charged on it's derpy little legs.
Sealeo just held a wide smile and rolled to the side to dodge the running charge of the Wooper, a sudden tail flick sending a muddy water across the floor. It hit the Sealeo pretty hard but the tanky nature meant it was less bothered by the attack than Shaun was by the mud on his leggings and boots. With a whack of his tail across the Wooper's head, he made the Pokemon spin about on the spot like a cartoon till a red flash absorbed it.

Finally reaching the top of the building, Shaun covered his eyes from the sun as it blared from the sky above, groaning a little as his legs ached from the walk, but walking over to the old suitcase Ruck had managed to find. Probably from one of the old members of the populace who had to get air lifted out of here and couldn't take it with 'em. Ah well. Finders fucking keepers as they say. With his Pokemon minding his back, Shaun started to rummage through the old belongings, quickly finding a few shirts he could probably wash and wouldn't mind using if they weren't too moldy by now, but hoping to find something a little bigger and better in a side pocket or something.
Buizel was the main one keeping an eye out, spotting the Yanma and Toxicroak watching them from a distance. Coating itself in water it aqua jetted towards them as a warning shot, bouncing off the edge of the old building and flipping backwards, giving them each a gesture to come and get some if they really wanted a fight. The Toxicroak rushed in first, slamming down a revenge strike before taunting the Buizel, who just gave a toothy grin and rammed right back into the Toxicroak with another aqua jet, bouncing off it's face and slamming it's dual tails into the Yanma as it tried to fly in and help it's friend, snickering at the two Pokemon as it continued to bounce around them, waiting for Shaun to find what they were looking for.
"Alright! Sweet! Got us some of those weird crystals. Pearl necklace we can pawn off too!" Noticing the battle going on behind him, Shaun grinned softly, enlarging a pokeball in his hand. "Seems we found some fresh meat too!~"

Wrapping up with the Pokemon, Shaun dusted off his hands and started to re-pack the suitcase. It was falling apart a little but everything inside seemed pretty decent, if a little old. Shirts were in good nik, and he could probably sell the laptop in their for slightly damaged parts. All in all it was a good haul, especially with the jewelery.
"Alright guys, come on, we got a long trip back down to the boat." Sealeo and Buizel both gave a light nod, picking themselves up and heading for the stairs, each of them giving Ruck a light 'eye as it managed to just fly back down.
