Summer was fairly frustrated. They had to have been wandering the upper city of Liggs for a solid hour and they were no closer to finding one of the entrances to the underground portion of the city. Most of the hanging signs littered around the city had been the bane of their existence and they were sure that there had to be a bright red splotch on their forehead from all of the things that they had accidently hit their face on. Summer was usually more spatially aware of their surroundings. They had to be at their height; however, they were so lost, confused, and focused on their map that they were paying less and less attention to their surroundings.
Summer was just happy that all of the walking had put Brie to sleep. He had been a bit fussy in the morning, so it was lovely that he was getting some rest now. It did make looking at the map harder because Sums had to cradle Brie in one arm and hold the map in the other. At this rate it would be a two day journey just to locate someone to raze the buildings on the property. Those things were a hazard to everyone that went near them, and Summer couldn’t open up the daycare till the building were out of the picture. Summer looks around again looking for any land marks that were also on the map. They spun in a circle for what felt like the hundredth time and groan when they could see a single thing that matched to map.
Mia had been on the surface to get a rare part for one of the bikes she was repairing, dusting her hands off and heading back towards the underground with the part resting in the deep pocket of her canvas pants. What Mia wasn't expecting on her way back home was the...frankly alarmingly tall woman cutting across her path. She blinked for a moment herself, not recognizing someone so tall, and she was damn sure she'd remember someone with such an outlying feature in her own city. Following up behind them, she caught the bewildered spin, catching their shoulder to stop them and rounding to their front...it felt so weird to look up into someone's eyes after so long.
"Er...hey there red giant." She smirked, at her playful tease to the stranger, offering out her hand. "Mia Kearney, local Gym leader...you lost perchance? Just...most people don't spin like that outta nowhere.~"

Summer startled a little when a hand griped their shoulder, but stopped their spin regardless. They were quite use to handing siblings need they're attention so the contact barely fazed them other than the surprise of their focus being brought to something else. They instinctively looked down and yet didn't have to look quite as far down as usual. They laughed a bit at the comment on their height. "Well, hello golden beanstalk." They attempted to match the same joking tone but the accompanying smile might have been a little sheepish looking. "I'm Summer Cedar. It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Kearney." they greeted back before the quickly placed the map in their month to free up their hand and then were able to shake the offered hand. They gave a polite light but firm grip.
Once the hand shake was finished the took the map back into their hand. "Most people just call me Sums though, and I am in fact quite lost. I have been unable to find any of the entrances to the underground city, and I really need to find someone to raze these broken down building. Oh, you probably don't want to hear my ramblings." They paused for a second to gather themselves. "Would you mind showing me to the nearest entrance? This map has had me lost all day. Although I don't want to take up to much of your time if you have work to attended to." They gave a bright smile.

Mia was even more surprised by Summer's height when they were face to face, it had been a good few months since she had to look up to meet anyone's eye. At least to this degree. Orion was taller than her but Hughard was the only one she could think of who measured up to this girl...
"Oh lookin' for my part of the city eh?~ And for the right reasons too.~" Mia crossed her arms tight over her chest with an odd sense of pride at the fact her side of the city was the kind to knock down buildings. "Yeah if you want someone to help you knock down an old bit of tat you want the underground brawn, not any of this above ground brain boxes.~" Turning on her heels, she made a gesture for summer to folllow, the golden tint of her metal hand briefly shimmering against the sunlight as she did. "Come on, I'll show ya the nearest lift. It's my day off so don't worry 'bout it. Always good to help out a tourist.~"
Starting to walk with Summer presumably following, she dipped her head back to address her. "So, what made you come to liggs for the job? Doubt the buildings are local if you don't know your way around."
