LaCruex was at a loss, a feeling he was getting used to. Staring at the small rodent in front of him, he just kind of rolled with it. And that wasn't a joke on how round the Pokemon was. It was his, through a strange misunderstanding. And one of the care tips for the Pokemon was to walk them until it was tired. And that was how he ended up at this ruins. Well, he was already here, he might as well look for treasure. The rodent, piece of trash in tow, followed on it's leash as they headed into the cave nearby.

How he wished that the weirdest part of his day was walking a round steely rodent on a leash. But no. The same rodent found a berry. Where they found it in a cave, he was in no mood to ask. He too the round blue squishy orb and gave a pat to the mouse with a species name he still had yet to figure out how to spell. The yellow and white round squirrel chattered and sparked and pulled on the lead. And lead him to another orb. Only this one was a gem, a gentle blue and white coloured thing. Huh. This Pokemon might have hidden depths.

The rodent in question tugged on the leash and pulled the man towards a mound of dirt. He looked at the Dedenne and titled his head in concern. The beast had an oddly shaped rock in his mouth and was nibbling it intently. Sighing, LaCruex bent down and tried to yank it from the mouth of the rodent. He earned a shock for his efforts and he flicked the rodent's nose and it squawked. It released the rock and he checked it over. It wasn't overly damage, mostly just drooled on. A few chip marks but nothing major. Dende made himself busy with some kind of fruit in the meantime so it wasn't that big a deal to him. He was more interested in checking out the odd dirt mound the squirrel had uncovered. {Claiming Pikanium-Z} |

While the Dedenne was rummaging around for tasty berries, LaCruex was getting his hands dirty. That mound was mostly full of discarded useless junk, but he did find some nice bits and pieces of things he could use. Mostly for his "on the cheap" repairs for the cabin he lived in, but a few things he could sell for money to those looking for it. Something he was keeping for himself was a strange orb like the one from before. Only this one was red and pink and gave him a distinct feeling of a wide-open meadow brimming with luscious plants. Or maybe that was his imagination fueled by the beautiful grove he was in. He wasn't sure but he was still taking that orb.

Digging in the dirt, he realized it was a trash pile. Broken pieces of various worthless things were about all he found, past the few treasures that he managed to find. Well, that Dende found before getting distracted with gorging his fat little face with as many berries as he could get his stubby little paws onto. Something did stand out, even if it was pretty much trash. Three pearls attached to a mostly rotted string. With some cleaning up, he knew he could make SOME money off of the long discarded necklace so he did what any good scavenger would've. He stuck it in his pocket and dragged his rodent on home.
