Sera's face darkened in more ways than one at that tease. Crossing her arms, she rolled her eyes heavily. "What kind of question is that? You think I sneak over and sleep on his couch when he's not home? Maybe hide in the attic and sneak down to steal food when he's asleep?" Her words were just barely dramatic enough to come off as joking, but also sarcastic enough they might miss that mark. The brief 'ha' might have contributed to the prior a bit, but probably not too much. "How could he not know?"
Up ahead, though, two pairs of eyes peered out of the darkness.
Wanting to get away from that, she backtracked to, "A-anyway, I think he said he was 19, too. Like, six months older than me roughly? I'll have to ask again when his birthday was." Come to think, he didn't talk about himself much in general. His hobbies and interests, yeah, but less more personal stuff. She supposed she should ask more some time.
Sera vaguely felt their presence before she saw them, and startled. "Wait what's--" Oh shit it was two Delibird?? Did they have a trainer or-- No? They were... reaching in their tails to pull out presents? ...In November?? "Wow, you guys are on the ball early this year..."
For Sera, some PokeBalls, two Z-Crystals, and two Mega Stones! For Mia, some mushrooms, a Z-Crystal, and three glittering gems! "Er?? Wow thanks!"
"Deli deli~!"

Mia rolled her eyes at the dramatic statement, but, in response, spoke almost mockingly "Its Niso. You could literally spell something out in the sky for him and I'm still sure he'd miss the mark when it comes to you." She smirked a little to the end, shrugging at her comment. "I mean hey, it's not a bad thing? He seems so enamored by you he just dosn't care about that stuff. Odds are he probably just thinks you're sleeping over unless you told him out...right...?"
Mia tilted her head as she spotted the faint shimmering of the eyes in the distance, lightly prodding Sera's arm with her elbow just as she sensed them too, giving her a signal to maybe shut up about Konto incase these birdies had a trainer...plus even if they were actual santas helpers, she did not want them knowing and putting her on the naughty list.
"Heeeey little fellas...what's up...?"
It did seem a little early in the year for them to be dishing out presents, but hey Mia wasn't gonna complain. The mush-set...she might re-package for someone else, but the gems would be pretty useful to her. She reached out, ruffling the head feathers of the delibird who gave her her present before standing back up, letting her tank hold the gem stones and admire them. "Thanks little'ins.~ Got some deliveries coming up soon eh?" The two bird nodded, making sure Sera and Mia were happy with the deliveries before turning around to waddle off.
Mia would watch them, making sure they were gone before smirking at Sera. "Well ain't that sweet?~ Makes pickaxe a bit redundant but...eh. Nice pair of cuties made up for it.~"

Thought she was just sleeping over? And-- and when did Mia get to know Niso so well anyway? .. Sure they'd hung out a few times since Mia kind of joined the little secret club but... she wasn't supposed to be able to read him? ... Was... Did Sera take some degree of pride in being the only person who Really Knew Him? ... Probably. Apparently. Well that was good to know.
After the Delibird crew had passed out their presents, though, Sera too thanked them and "Give my regards to Santa~" What cuties.
Ah, though Mia had a point. "Heh, yeah I guess digging for more treasure feels almost greedy now." ... Slowly grinning, she asked, "Wanna go show off to Mr. Antine like we dug all this up so fast and then catch a movie or something instead~?" Sera was almost giggling in particular at being pretty sure those mushrooms didn't grow around here, so that should be extra baffling. Her writer was more self-deprecatingly amused at how "fast" the treasure hunt was in-character compared to her feet-dragging out of it.

Mia offered a wide grin at Sera's plan. Oh he'd definitely get a kick out of how fast they'd come out with so much loot, she even had enough to hand in for a trade if he had anything she liked. "Yeah I think I'm game for that!~ I know they're playing a few good old movies at the 10 mun pictures too." 10 mun pictures being the Writer's version of a concept in england of old movies being shown for just a pound. "Few christmas ones, a comedy or two, sure we can find something!~"
With that she'd make sure each of them were able to carry the loot they'd gotten and head back on out through the cave, offering Sera a smile and saying simply. "Hey, its nice catchin up...know there's some crap you can't talk to everyone about and, well, its cute hearing you get flustered about it, especially since its soooooo hard to fluster you, ya tease queen.~"
