The Wasteland

Not too far from Alterna's outskirts, this area had come into existence not too long after the Pillar of Life had vanished. What remains of the lush field is a large patch of browned, dead land—skeletons of trees dot the landscape here and there; any and all attempts to restore the area have proven to be futile.

As a result, no natural life can be found growing here; and the only denizens that one can find here are powerful, aggressive Pokémon that will attack anything upon sight. Perhaps it was the influence of what was rumored to have appeared here that is causing them to go feral...?
