Hotaru smiled this would be her first contest with all four of her friends but she thought they were ready. As she got ready then put the special seals and her pokemons pokeballs in contest balls. She soon walked out of the stage. Her outift was a purple and white colored firefly theme. "Hello everyone, I'm Hotaru the Firefly. Give a warm welcome to my partners" she smiled as she tossed two pokeballs in almost a twister like design with lots of shimmering came a persian. From the other one out of the middle of a star shape jumped a Gogoat. "These are twister" she said pointing to the Persian, "On my left is Kiddo" she smiled as she tossed two pokeballs up in the air.

"Twister give me a hand would ya use swift" She said as her persian acted right away hitting the pokeballs just right with a gentle swift opening the poke ball as thew the stars and sparkle came two pokemon that did a dance as they then both landed gracefully on Kiddo's horns who had jumped in the air jumping over Twister gracefully. "And these are Virgil the Volbeat, and Jillian the Illumise. Their will be more to come i hope you will support us all team Firefly" she smiled as the two bug pokemon did a final dance similar to the courting dance volbeats tail glowing as they went fast making a wold like pattern finished up by a leach horn and swift attack creating golden and green sparkles falling all around the team as the bugs landed on her arms. Finishing the performance.

The stage was cleared from the previous appeal, Sera was called, and the amphitheatre darkened save for the faint spotlights and stagelights on an empty stage. A soft piano melody began to play, the only sign of activity for at least 5 full seconds.

"Hyeaahyehehyeaheah..." The soft warm-up came from within the crowd, and the spotlights moved to converge on a woman striding slowly down one of the aisles toward the stage. She was almost fully obscured by a long hooded cloak, but its deep velvety crimson shade shimmered with each step.

She simply continued this steady pace as the soulful lyrics began. "We move too fast… We miss so much. We seldom see…" She pulled back her hood to gaze around. "All the miracles in front of us…" She paused for around one second to give the shoulder of a girl on her left on the second row a gentle squeeze. "A warm embrace…" She glided across the aisle to the front row on her right-- "a human touch…"-- and gently brushed down a young man's jawline and trailed off his chin as she passed by.

"And so it goes." She trotted the last few steps to the base of the stage, pausing a fleeting instant to look back at the audience as she reached it. "I race around!" She rounded the stairs on the side of the stage at that point, the stage itself still empty save for herself. "Search high and low.." She looked up to the rafters as she finished her trot to front center stage, then looked back down over the audience. "For a truth I used to know." She looked stage left, but there was no truth. "When there was magic…" She looked stage right, "to be found…" But there was no magic, and Sera visibly breathed in deep to steady herself as her focus moved back inward.

" 'Cause finding Wonderland…" At long last, a faint shimmering pink mist began to creep across the stage floor from backstage, behind Sera. "Is taking time to see…" Discreetly, a PokeBall was opened within her cloak, and when Sera moved to look around again, a Braixen slid out from under the back of her cloak, wearing a much smaller but semi-matching cloak of her own, hood also pulled down. Sera met her gaze. "The child within who's always been there smiling back at me." They exchanged gentle smiles as the Misty Terrain grew thicker. "So when I close my eyes.." She and Braixen did so, clasping hands and facing the audience. "I just remember and…" Wisps of a thinner mist began to waft through the air higher up, moving and swirling differently than the terrain mist, but only perhaps the judges and the first row or two would pick up a whiff of how pleasant it smelled. "I can't help finding Woooonderlaaand."

As she held that last note, a brilliant white Meganium stepped out from backstage, a softly glowing green grass spreading out quickly from her steps to replace all but a few faintly sparkling remnants of the Misty Terrain. As a few notes rapidly descend, a red-shelled Minior shot by to shower a Cosmic Power overhead, and a moment later Braixen and Meganium charged toward each other from the front and back of the stage, releasing a combined Fire Spin and Petal Blizzard up into the air where they met in the middle. The whirlwind carried a flurry of petals and embers along with the scent of the Aromatherapy from before out above the audience.

Sera spun toward the Pokemon behind her, whipping off her cloak hard enough that it fell from the front of the stage, stamping one foot in a powerful pose and revealing her heart-themed dress. "It's not too late!" Upon the word "late", a dark drizzling cloud formed above the Pokemon center stage, and the Pokemon parted to each side just in time to avoid getting wet, save for the Minior who flew up behind the cloud. "Here in my prime!" A shooting star of a Wish was conjured by Braixen and shot up only to be obscured in the cloud, but Sera followed with confident steps toward it, a heavy sway in her gait. Her Primarina moved quietly from backstage to join Braixen.

"Hearts can un-break!" Minior slipped into the cloud and shot off rays of Power Gem from each of its spokes, and the dense cloud caused each beam to refract, firing a brilliant rainbow light show out of the cloud from all directions, the other Pokemon watching it in awe. "In the story's nick of time." The instant before she stepped into the area that was raining, Meganium conjured a Sunny Day to dispell the cloud, and Sera turned back to smile at the audience. Braixen seemed so delighted by the turn she began to dance about the stage, conjuring a few Will-o-Wisps to circle about her.

"A happy ending…~" Minior conjured five more spokes of Power Gem, but maintained them as weaker beams than fired rays this time, and slowly rotated behind the mini sun to enhance its beauty. Meanwhile, Meganium raised a Light Screen behind the scene. "A perfect rhy-yme!' Her Primarina raised a false moon to briefly cover the sun and dim the scene from the audience's perspective, save for the Minior's added spokes still spinning behind.

"Cause finding Wonderland--" The Meganium renewed the Grassy Terrain, causing a faint ripple of light to pulse through the floor of the stage. Meanwhile, the Moonblast finally burst, the Minior arcing away and then back down toward Sera just in time to avoid it. Braixen's continued fire dance took her behind the Light Screen. "--is finding who you are!"

Sera greeted the Minior, briefly petting it as if soothing or coaxing it before slowly backing up a few steps as the creases in its shell began to glow. "The child within who's always been there like a shining star!" As it shed its shell, Braixen fired a Psybeam into the Light Screen at just the right angle to make it refract into several fainter beams, and Primarina began singing along in tune with Sera from the words 'shining star', gradually filling the stage with the glittering bubbles of a Sparkling Aria.

"So when I close my eyes…" She did again, and the Minior began to raise mountains of blue light with its Stone Edge across the whole back side of the stage, and Meganium made her way to where Braixen had been as Braixen resumed her fire dance. "I see forever and... I keep on finding Wooonderlaaand!" Meganium fired a Solarbeam into the Light Screen, such that a burst of brighter whiter light would accent "land", the brightness of it and Braixen's moving wisps causing the aria bubbles to glisten all the brighter.

The sun and Light Screen both faded, and each Pokemon settled a bit as they completed their various tasks. As they moved into new positions around the stage-- Meganium to the left, Primarina to the right, Braixen front and center-- Minior circled around in the air above scatterling more Cosmic Power stars, while Sera danced fluidly between the Pokemon. "Ordinary magic…" She took a moment to put an arm on each one affectionately and look up at the stars together before moving to the next one. "happens every single day..." Primarina produced some Attract hearts to emphasize his glee in time with the word "magic", and Meganium briefly 'glowed with delight' using Synthesis around "single day".

Sera danced her way toward Braixen, but-- "Wonderland--" just before she reached her, Minior picked Braixen up with a Psychic and began flying through the air with her, Sera spinning to keep sight of them-- "is never far away!"

Within the next line, three columns of glowing elemental force would crash down on top of each other in the center of the stage behind Sera. "Cause FIN! DING! WON!-derland!!" As the Fire Pledge crashed into its mates, the sheer force of them all popped the aria bubbles, filling the air with glittering residue; while the three attacks in such unison created a massive array of effects. A swampy area spread over the stage, from the front all the way back to the Stone Edge mountains. Patches of fire interspersed with and replaced the water in some places, and embers burned at the tips of some of the grasses. Finally, a brilliant arc of a rainbow surrounded the scene. Sera grinned around at the sights. "Is going home again!"

As Minior continued to carry Braixen through the air, the latter conjured the thick purple pulsating mist of a Psychic Terrain to mix through the scene. Meanwhile, Meganium swirled another Petal Blizzard all about, and Primarina projected numerous glowing hearts to swirl in the petal storm. Sera placed her hands over her heart and spun about in the storm until she appeared dizzy, boots splashing bits of water all the while. "To feel the love another gives and giving back and then!" She staggered as she stopped spinning, and the Pokemon all turned to her with visible concern, slowly moving closer.

"If you should lose your way…" Braixen floated downward, and stretched a paw toward Sera. "Reach out for someone's hand." The Psychic hold was released, and Sera pulled Braixen into her arms to shift to her hip like a human child. "And you'll be finding Wooonderlaaand…" Braixen unleashed a subtle Hypnosis toward the audience, nothing strong enough to put them to sleep, but just enough to make them the slightest bit drowsy, induce a tiny extra edge of surrealist perspective to the already vivid scene they'd built on stage. Minior used Psychic again to move Primarina to the top of the center Stone Edge mountain, while Meganium started moving toward center stage.

Sera set Braixen down, and the two of them twirled off in sync in opposite directions toward the front sides of the stage, Braixen conjuring a 3-walled Magic Room around the very back and sides of the stage to better contain what was to come and add all the more whimsical backdrop. "Yooou'll be fiiinding…" As Sera danced and sang during these long notes, she raised one hand above her head, a brilliant green light shining through her fingerless glove as Meganium began to glow as well. Minior arced over the stage to fire some Swift rays out at the audience as it went..

As the final word began, the fire swamp erupted into bloom, and Primarina began using his liquified Hyper Voice in sync with Sera's notes to enhance them and launch several massive circular pulses of water out around the stage. "WOOO-OONDEERR--" A gargantuan pillar of light crashed down into the fire swamp, evaporating the pulses into a mess of rainbows and causing immensely more foliage to bloom, covering the whole stage with huge flowering vines clawing their way up several of the mountains and the Magic Room walls as well.

"LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!" Minior spiraled upward into the air, stopping above center stage, and the moment after Sera's held note finally ended, it Exploded in a fireworks-like punctuation to the performance.

The only sound was the slow building of cheers for a moment as Sera worked on catching her breath and the Minior drifted downward. When it was low enough, she caught it and pulled it into her arms, and Meganium approached. Finally looking up to the audience and judges again as some of the effects began to fade away, Sera called out, "Was that fun or what!" before letting out a bright if tired laugh. Meganium quietly Heal Pulsed the Minior until it came to, floating back up next to Sera to smile at the audience, ensuring them it was okay after that blast.

Sera gave the judges and audience a curtsey, then. "I'm Serafeyna Carroll, folks~" She grinned wickedly. "No relation to Lewis… probably. But a girl can dream, right~!" She giggled. "At any rate, hope to see you all cheering for us in the rest of the contest~ And be sure to enjoy the rest of the Festival!" She blew the crowd a kiss with a wink, and headed off stage.[/font]

Oh wow... everyone was so amazing this year! Was it like this last year too? Kris was there and oooh, Lucien was here too! All the appeals were so much fun to watch that Michi was actually starting to get a little nervous about her own. Huh? Oh, she was up next. Right. Deep breath in, she could do this. Before the music even started, a Mist from Amaura filled the stage, masking Michi and her dress as she made her way to the center of the stage. A Misty Terrain joined the Mist, making the stage swirl with pink and white mist that emphasized the twirl Michi made to reach the center of the stage.



As soon as the song started, Michi tossed a pokeball in a star capsule up into the air where it opened with a scattering of stars that swept around the stage, mixing up the pink and white mist before they disappeared. A Musharna materialized out of the mist and used Telekinesis on the Starmie to keep it up in the air. The Starmie would use Light Screen in combination with Cosmic Power to make it appear as if it was a disco ball. Lights bounced around the stage as an Aromatisse used Dazzling Gleam to make the Starmie glisten all the more. A Gust from a Whimsicott had Michi flying into the air a bit until she reached the Light Screen Platform created for her.



Spinning in place, Michi beckoned the audience to clap with her while a Ducklett flew up from the misty stage. A Telekinesis had Michi flying with the Ducklett briefly until the Ducklett faltered and started to fall. Michi tried to reach for it but then an Amaura used Magnet Rise to catch the Ducklett and spun up in the air while using Aurora Beam to create a rainbow spiral around both of them. The group flew happily together until the sudden appearance of a Whimsicott beside them had the Amaura using Discharge. The Whimsicott quickly errected a wall of Razor Leaf that blocked Michi and herself from harm. Michi dove downwards to try and catch the fallen Ducklett, reaching an arm outwards.


No matter how she tried to reach Ducklett, Michi was stopped by a series of obstacles including Bubble Beam, Aurora Beam, and Razor Leaf that slowed her down. That was when a sudden burst of light (and an additional Dazzling Gleam) stopped Michi in her tracks as the Ducklett evolved into a Swanna. The Swanna used Defog to clear the Mist, rising up to catch Michi as she started to fall and flying up next to the Amaura. Michi laughed and spread her arms as the Swanna flew with her on its back before the Swanna used Icy Wind to create a brilliant, glistening trail behind them.



While the Swanna continued to perform tricks, the Musharna used Psychic Terrain to change the mist into a glowing pink field. Starmie was lifted up in the air with Telekinesis, spinning while using Cosmic Power that bounced off the Light Screen. The combination created a bright array of lights that shone all over the stage and even at places in the audience. Aromatisse and Whimsicott flew up behind the Starmie and used Fairy Wind and Dazzling Gleam that made the lights sparkle all the more. Amaura flew next to the others and spun, dancing in the light while the Whimsicott used Gust and Tailwind to speed up her allies and fly up with them along with the Aromatisse. They flew across the stage in a Z pattern only to be stopped by a wall of bubbles from Bubble Beam. Swanna used Icy Wind combined with a Moonblast from the Whimsicott to shatter the wall, showering the stage with rainbow snowflakes.



The group of Pokemon land on the stage while a few of the Pokemon flew a little ways in front of the audience, clapping in time with the music. Michi meanwhile jumped from various Light Screen platforms and spun, pointing at Swanna briefly. The Pokemon took her cue and flew up with Aerial Ace combined with Icy Wind. The motion was repeated with Aromatisse which floated up on a Fairy Wind in the opposite direction, meeting in the middle above Michi's head. As soon as the two met in the middle, a Sunny Day would brighten the stage, illuminating the Starmie that Michi caught as one of the Light Screens faded. Aromatisse would hop on the Swanna's back and fly over the audience, showering them with sparkles from a Dazzling Gleam and Icy Wind combination.



A Misty Terrain pervaded the stage again once the Swanna and Aromatisse landed. The Aromatisse would meet in the middle of the stage with the Whimsicott. Both Pokemon would dance briefly before using a Razor Leaf and Dazzling Gleam combination that created a glittering, leaf shaped heart. This would be shattered with combined Moonblasts which rained down on Michi who giggled and spun, still holding the Starmie. The Amaura would fly up where Michi was and fly back down with Michi on her back only to be goaded into a race from Swanna. Even with the help of Tailwind, Amaura lost to Swanna and bowed her head before the Swanna cheered her up. Both the Swanna and Amaura danced in the air briefly before landing. Michi hopped off the Amaura and tossed the Starmie up into the air again where it would be lifted with Telekinesis and create the disco ball effect again.



Spreading her arms wide, Michi spun while the Swanna mimicked her actions above her, spinning while using Icy Wind to create a sparkling aura around her that fell on Michi in a light sprinkling of frost. Michi laughed and clapped her hands with emphasis, beckoning the audience to join. While the Icy Wind aura still remains, the Aromatisse flew up with Fairy Wind and used Aromatic Mist around the Swanna, making it look like it was covered in light pink glitter.



From her place on the stage, Michi looked over at Swanna and then Amaura and raised both hands above her head, spinning in place. The Swanna used Aerial Ace combined with Icy Wind to create a shimmering trail behind her. The Amaura meanwhile used Magnet Rise again and Aurora Beam to create a dazzling rainbow trail behind her. From Starmie's place in the air and Aromatisse's place by Michi, Aurora Beam, Bubble Beam, Moonblast, and Icy Wind combined to create a dazzling display of light, glitter, and dew drops that sparkled over the stage and even over part of the audience (thanks to a well timed Psychic).



Michi spreads her arms wide again as is lifted up with Telekinesis where she flies side by side with Swanna briefly. The Swanna twirled and flew around Michi before the latter settled onto the Swanna's back. Once again the Starmie would create that disco ball array of lights while Michi jumped off Swanna's back and twirled, sparkling thanks to Dazzling Gleam and lands safely with the help of Telekinesis. Swanna meanwhile flies up towards the Starmie just as a Solar Beam and a Moonblast meet above their heads. Both spin before the Starmie hops on Swanna's back and lands on the stage shortly thereafter. All of the participating Pokemon move into a line formation with Michi standing a short ways behind them.

As the last words of the song are sung, each of the Pokemon in the line spins one after the other, ending with Michi twirling to the front of the stage and curtsying, along with her Pokemon, to the audience. "Hello Star Festival! My name is Michi and we all hope you had fun with us!" Michi giggled, spreading her arms out to gesture to her Pokemon who all cheered in response, "Thank you for cheering us on! We look forward to seeing you again soon!" With that, Michi and her Pokemon curtsied/bowed to the audience before heading off stage. They had done it!
